My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our two night stay at the Inn at Westwynd Farm over Labor Day weekend. The setting is spectacular on a sprawling horse farm with views of rolling hills and the Hotel Hershey in the distance. The owners and staff were very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast both mornings was delicious and the servings were huge. We also enjoyed the fresh baked goods each afternoon...and evening :) The weather was not great but we managed to find things to do in the area, including dinner and craft beers at Troegs Brewery, an afternoon hike along the Horse-Shoe Trail (about 1 mile from the hotel - ask someone at the hotel for directions to the trail head), shopping at the Tanger Outlets, drinks at the Hotel Hershey and Warwick Inn in Hummelstown, and a stop off at the PA Renaissance Fair on our way back to Philly. We hope to return!

Our stay at the Inn was wonderful and we hope to return soon. Accommodations are delightful with comforts anticipated and met, and there are so many places to roam and relax at this B&B. Breakfasts were top shelf and snacks were homemade and ever-present. Spend time with the horses or sit outside in one of the peaceful gardens.

Inn at Westwynd Farm was a fabulous place to spend our 40th wedding anniversary. Everything was top-notch. Accommodations were lovely, sparkling clean, breakfast (and the beautiful breakfast room) was terrific, and the horses were a new and wonderful experience for us. We are already planning our next stay in April 2017. Thanks so much Frank and Carolyn!

This was our third visit to Westwynd farm but our first in the fall. Nothing is more relaxing than sitting on the porch watching the horses graze. If you decide not to go into town, there is always something to do at the farm. We will be back for our fourth visit next year. Haven't decided what month, than again it really doesn't matter.

The Inn at Westwynd Farm is a truly beautiful and luxurious place to stay! We stayed in The Carriage House with our 3 children during a a family trip to Hershey. It was so wonderful to have a space of our own to relax and spread out after long days of fun! The common dining area is gorgeous with lovingly prepared, delicious food for breakfast. We were especially grateful to Carolyn for making her scrumptious recipes gluten free for our son! The heart shaped pancakes with fresh blueberries from the garden were positively mouthwatering! Thank you!
We are so glad your family enjoyed your time. It was a pleasure to come up with things your son would enjoy. Gluten free has become almost a specialty of ours. Thank you for the lovely review

Westwynd is a step back in time without losing conveniences of modern life. Innkeepers go to great lengths to provide comfort for their guests. My favorite thing is waking to the aroma of whatever wonderful treat is baking for breakfast.

As I pulled up to the front of the inn I noticed how well-maintained the grounds and the exterior building was and the rocking chairs on the porch was so inviting. It only got better once inside. Oh my gosh, I was in awe of the many beautiful wood furniture and decor throughout. So very cozy and neat as a pin. Frank and Carolyn were most hospitable and Carolyn gave us a tour of the inn and I enjoyed listening to her as she shared the history behind the inn. I stayed in the Trapper room. Immediately upon entering I noticed how meticulous this room was put together. The beautiful quilt and lace trimmed pillow cases and sheets. Beautifully aged wooden bureau, cozy sitting chair, and a beautiful floor lamp with a beaded fringe. Elegant drapes framing two large windows, and french doors leading to a roomy balcony with a french style patio table and chairs. The tranquility was greatly appreciated and the soothing sounds from the waterfall along with a chilled glass of merlot made the evenings perfect. The spacious jacuzzi was a big plus and the ribbon ceiling lights created a soft ambience. Carolyn's freshly baked cookies, lemon bars, and brownies were a welcomed treat and went great with her freshly brewed coffee...her gourmet style french toast was delicious and just about melted in your mouth. I loved my coffee mug so much I purchased one for myself :) The Inn is in close proximity to great restaurants and more importantly, 5 Fantabulous Wineries/Vineyard, (I was in my glory), and of course, Hershey Park. I enjoyed my stay and It was with great reluctance that I checked-out. Last but not least....overlooking a field of horses ....BEAUTIFUL simply beautiful. Thank you, Carolyn and Frank (I'll be back) :)
Thank you so much for your lovely and detailed review. You noticed every detail and we are so appreciative of your taking the time to share your experience. It truly means a lot to us. We will be looking forward to to your next visit.

My husband and I have stayed at many B & Bs and Westwynd Farm is the best!! carolyn and Frank were extremely welcoming and helpful with knowledge about the area. The food was delicious and the property itself was just beautiful - both inside and out! It felt like a real country getaway, tucked in on a huge farm with 20 horses in grazing in the field. We enjoyed sipping wine while sitting on the porch rockers, taking in the beautiful scenery. Can't wait to return for a fall getaway!

Westwynd Farm became part of our trip while we were planning to stay close to Lancaster. Although all we saw on the site had been stunning, the stay exceeded our best expectations at all. Hospitality, kindness and special attention provided by Carolyn, Frank and all the staff, beginning with the amazing breakfast, hyper cleanliness, and including the so famous candies available on the table all the time. So nice days... Unforgettable experience! Thank you so much! (in Portuguese) Westwynd Farm tornou-se parte da nossa viagem enquanto estávamos planejando ficar perto de Lancaster. Carolyn and Frank have mastered the art of hospitality. They make it easy to leave the busy, noisy world behind and retreat into relaxation. You're invited to take a leisurely walk on the farm and make friends with their magnificent horses. Enjoy a sweet treat, snuggle up by the fireplace, and wake up to a delicious breakfast. Everything they do is to make sure you're taken care of - mind, body, and soul.

We had the pleasure of staying at The Westwynd Farm Inn in January, 2016 and from the moment you arrive your experience will be special. Carolyn and Frank the owners ,are gracious , warm and welcoming. They are the reason this Inn is so special. Every attention to detail is taken care of from the gorgeous grounds to the comfortable sitting and dining areas to the cozy and well appointed rooms. When a guest checks in you are offered homemade baked goods , including gluten free, as well as a variety of beverages to choose from, including wine and beer. Carolyn and Frank give you a through tour of their lovely home and encourage their guests to visit the horses and will provide you with apples to feed them! Our room was warm and cozy with a fireplace, a private entry to the front porch and a king size so comfortable that we didn't want to get out of it, but we knew we had an amazing breakfast to look forward to. We were served, as our main course farm fresh eggs, wrapped in prosciutto , baked, seasoned and served to perfection. The presentation was beautiful. The entire experience was very special, and if you have not had the pleasure of being a guest at The Inn at Westwynd Farm, you are missing a very special place. Thank you Carolyn and Frank and we will see you on our trip next year! Susan and Douglas Davenport

We had the pleasure of staying at The Inn at Westwynd Farm on January 27, 2016. It is such a beautiful and tranquil place to stay, and Frank and Carolyn are most gracious, welcoming and one feels as though they have been your friends for a long time. Not only are you greeted warmly, but home baked cookies and other treat were waiting for the guests, along with coffee, tea, wine, beer, and water. They also offer gluten free items that are home made and delicious! Our room was on the first floor with direct access to the front porch, and had a fireplace and king size bed. Very cozy with wonderful amenities. The bed so comfortable we did not want to get out of it, however we knew that breakfast was going to be a treat! It was more than a treat, it was a gourmet delight! The presentation was beautiful, and so delicious. We had the eggs that were wrapped in prosciutto and baked in the oven to perfection. We cannot wait to go back on our travels next year and stay with Frank and Carolyn. If you have never been there, you are missing out on a very special place. One of the overall nicest Bed & Breakfast that we have ever stayed in. Great area out of the city but still only about 15-20 minutes from the Farm Show Complex. Accomadations were fabulous, very clean, and comfortable. They have 3 living areas to hang out in. The Hershey Chocolates were in all rooms and the complimentary baked goodies, soda, wine and beer were a very nice added surprise. The Innkeepers were traveling but Jane was just a gem of a person and great to be around. My wife has Celiac Disease and has to eat gluten free and she was serviced very well with scrumptious breakfasts and even her own gluten free baked goods. It was nice walking the farm in the morning and seeing all the horses and other animals. We can not wait to go back !
Thank you for the kind words! We are so very glad you enjoyed your time here. We love being able to prepare foods that people on special diets can enjoy. We're so happy you and your wife were pleased.

We stayed at the Inn June 21 to celebrate both Father's day and my golden birthday. The Inn is quite charming and the Innkeepers very accommodating. In addition to a lovely breakfast you also benefit from a stocked refrigerator full of beverages, and snacks that range from granola bars, microwave popcorn, Hershey chocolate as well as a table full of homemade treats. In addition to running the bed and breakfast they also board horses so you can take a quick walk to the barns for a visit. We stayed in the "In our time" room which was a good size and included a fireplace and whirlpool bath in the room. There is a lot to do in Hershey, even for adults. We enjoyed the Antique Automobile Club of America Museum, lunch at Hotel Hershey and an a very interesting trolley tour of downtown Hershey. They also have beautiful gardens across from Hotel Hershey that we did not get to (this time). This is a very nice bed and breakfast that goes above and beyond.

It was our first visit and I wish that we had booked additional days, we only stayed the one. Room was beautiful and the hospitality was unparalleled. Carolyn could not do enough for us and all with graciousness and humor. The reason for the 4 stars on cleanliness was because the hot tub jets needed cleaning but to be fair I should have checked first...other than small issue with tub the inn was fantastic! We had a wonderful time staying at the Inn at Westwynd. Frank and Carolyn are the ultimate Hosts. Carolyn Greeted us upon check in and gave us a tour of the Inn and made sure everything was perfect before she left us to unpack our bags. Breakfast Christmas morning was a special treat with Frank's hand carved Oranges that looked like teddy bears, and a small bag of homemade Opera fudge for each of the guests. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. The only negative is that the mattress on our bed seemed a little worn. The decorations in the house were beautiful and very charming, and we loved the porch with rockers outside of our room. Thank you Frank and Carolyn for a very memorable Christmas retreat!

First time in a B&B with a wonderful experience. We chose this B&B based on the many positive reviews, but the main selling point for us was the barn with lots of horses. Very close to Hershey Park and all the activities there. Frank and Carolyn the innkeepers made us feel welcome and attended to all of our needs. Breakfasts were delicious and always a surprise! Our room was very clean, including the bathroom. The beds were covered with white clean and crisp linens and every time we entered our room we noticed how fresh it smelled. The dining room table was always covered with all kinds of complimentary baked goods. The guest fridge which is in the basement is stocked with complimentary bottled water and soda, plus additional snacks. Having snacks always available made it very easy with my son. Although we don't drink, I should mention there is also complimentary wine and beer. The barn is always open for guests at the inn. Everyone who works at the barn is super nice and so friendly. Horseback riding is not available here because most of the horses are boarded. The owners come by everyday to tend to their horses and they are more than willing to stop what they are doing and chat with the guests from the Inn. We learned so much from them. Super nice people !! My son had a great time and probably spent more time in the barn than in our room. We will definitely be back! He enjoyed this place so much that he passed on Hershey park and most of the activities in order to get back to the Inn and his friends in the barn.

Wonderful, welcoming B&B. Carolyn and Frank made us feel extremely welcome from the second we walked thru the door. Very clean. The breakfast was delicious. Always a warm treat/snack available.

Beautiful location and wonderful place to stay!
5 on June 13, 2014
Carolyn and Frank were the most affable and gracious hosts in all our bed and breakfast ramblings. The Inn is fastidiously clean, the grounds perfection. We enjoyed roaming the vast stables. The staff was friendly and helpful. Everyone made us feel welcome. My only complaint is that I can't go back soon. They are so fabulous that they are booked months ahead. But book we did. See you in the fall, Westwynd Farm!

Westwynd Farm is an extremely relaxing place to stay with a country setting. It is within 5 minutes of Hershey attractions. The Inn staff are very helpful and courteous. This is probably the best B&B that my wife and I have stayed in by far.

What a nice place to stay. We chose to stay here for the weekend to celebrate my 30th birthday. We were pleased with our choice. It is removed enough for a quiet and relaxing atmosphere but quite close to all the Hershey attractions. It is such a warm and welcoming inn. The breakfast was filling and quite delicious. Carolyn's baked goods that she leaves out during the day had us grabbing something every time we walked by! We left feeling refreshed and relaxed. We hope to come and stay again sometime!

Our stay was perfect. The inn keepers know how to accommodate each guest. The grounds and rooms are very clean and beautiful. So relaxing. Great food and endless baked goods and complimentary drinks. WONDERFUL!! Attention to details...felt relaxed and spoiled!

By far this was the BEST B & B experiences of all the different stays I've had at an Inn. It was a gorgeous property and was thoroughly enjoyed by our group of 6 ladies. The innkeepers Carolyn and Frank were delightful and gifted at providing a lovely stay. The breakfast was delish, and they also welcomed us to indulge in the complimentary large display of home made baked goods, cold wine, beer and soda in the fridges, and many Hershey brand chocolates in our room for us. We were also invited to visit the farm on the property and feed the animals. It would be an AWESOME venue for a wedding, reunion, romantic getaway, family stay or a over nighter with some girl friends! LOVED it and the price was more than reasonable especially considering all the comps!

Its beautiful and very peaceful. The food is great, and the hospitality is superb. You definitely do not go hungry especially with all the Hershey's chocolate laying around. You won't go wrong by staying here. It's a horse lover's paradise.

We had a wonderful stay!! It's a beautiful, tranquil place and we can't wait to return!! Everything was perfect from start to finish! We would highly recommend this B&B.

This place is just beautiful. Our room was very spacious, beautifully decorated, and very clean. The food was so delicious! From the breakfasts, to the cookies and snacks in the afternoon. Everything was just wonderful. We went Easter weekend and there was plenty of chocolate for the taking also. The grounds were just amazing. The horses were in view from every window and so close. We were able to walk over and pet them and feed them. I'm a big horse lover and hanging out with the horses was truly an amazing experience. The owners and staff were very friendly and helpful when needed. My husband and I will defintely go back. We highly recommend this place to anyone who just wants to relax and forget about work and who loves animals and enjoys the outdoors.

Very comfortable and friendly atmosphere. Situated within easy access to area events and attractions. The owners and staff were the friendliest we have met in all our B&B stays. Nice accommodations for families too.

The Inn is spot on clean. Lots of room in the more than comfortable bedrooms. Breakfasts are amazing. The most cheerful breakfast room with tons of natural light. Peaceful and serene. Gorgeous views of the pastures and horses.

The surroundings are great; the food delicious, snacks included. The owners had just left for vacation, but those left in charge were funny, charming and totally competent. Altogether a very pleasant experience. We might think about a larger family gathering some time in the future.

I planned a overnight getaway for my husbands 30th birthday. I was trying to find a b&b close to hershey, and this was the perfect place. I called last minute and the rooms were full but the carriage house was open. Carolyn was so nice and friendly. I received a discount for booking last minute. I was blown away on how beautifully kept the house was and the finishing touches made everything a perfect "home away from home" it was private, yet close to the main house if we needed anything. It was a nice touch with the chocolate covered strawberries. The fridge had, beverages and there was snacks onthe counter. Coffee, tea,hot chocolate. I was very surprised that everything was provided for us. I will definitely be returning again and I plan on staying longer than one night.

We have stayed at Westwynd Farm on a couple of occasions and the place is magnificent. It is hidden away, but a very short drive to all sorts of sites, attractions and great restaurants. My wife is gluten-free and Frank and Carolyn suggested the perfect spot to dine. They are so accommodating and the Farm is beautiful. We visited in January. It was cold and snowy, but the Inn was warm and cozy. We sat at breakfast for the longest time. We met terrific people and had wonderful conversation while enjoying the most excellent breakfast. Really, you just can't find a better place. It is very, very clean, convenient, pleasant and most affordable. We will go back again...and again.
Your lovely review put smiles on our faces. We're so glad you enjoy the inn. Thank you so much!

Another wonderful stay at Westwynd Farm. This is the first time we have stayed with Carolyn & Frank during the winter months. We have always stayed in either the Spring or Fall. The farm is just as enchanting in the winter and the hospitality doesn't change. This is one of our favorite B & B's and we always love seeing the horses and of course Carolyn and Frank.

Cannot wait to return! Thank you for a wonderful and relaxing time!
5 on January 31, 2014
We try to visit yearly and this was our second visit to have Jane, as the innkeeper, while Carolyn and Frank were on vacation. As usual, the inn is immaculate and the breakfasts are delicious. There are always several treats and hot beverages for you to sample any time of the day. The staff is so nice and available to help in any way. Carolyn has finally put all of her recipes in a cookbook and it is well worth the purchase! Thank you again for a wonderful weekend!

We just got home from spending an amazing weekend at the Inn at Westwynd Farm near Hershey, PA. We stayed in the Carriage House. First of all it is an Inn that has 10 master bedroom suites with their own private bathrooms and just perfect for a romantic weekend for a couple in love. The Carriage House is a perfect house for the privacy we were looking for as it’s a separate house from the main house. The view of the land from our private house, the horses grazing and the barn was like something you see on a postcard. The main house is so warm and friendly and just the equivalent of heaven on earth when it comes to serenity and romance. Breakfast was beyond delicious and the atmosphere alone made everything even more delicious. We fell even more in love with each other just looking at each other across the breakfast table. The staff was so friendly and helpful and Miss Jane is just wonderful as well as an excellent cook. At any time you walk into the main house and the smell for the love of cooking and comfort is in the air. We decided that the Inn at Westwynd Farm, specifically the Carriage House, will become ‘our’ place where we can decompress and lose ourselves in each other. We hope to become regulars and will be sure to tell others about it as much as we want to keep it a hidden treasure just for ourselves. Thank you for the best weekend we have ever had in our lives…so far. From a couple hopelessly in love…. J & D

We decided to try staying at a B&B during our trip through Southern PA instead of a chain hotel. It was the best part of our trip. Our daughter loved seeing the horses, and other animals and of course the ever present cookies and sweats. We had a very pleasant, comfortable and quiet 2 night stay. We will definitely be back.
5 on January 06, 2014
This was our second stay at the Inn and we enjoyed our time just as much. Breakfast was amazing as usual and the quiet Inn the perfect oasis to relax. A quick drive to town allowed ample shopping and dining. We plan to come back again when we can.

We very much enjoyed our time there. The Inn is a very beautiful place to stay and they made us feel very welcome. I loved the animals on this farm. The room was really nice and complete with tv (lots of channels) and a fire place, breakfast was delicious and I especially loved the lemon muffins and home mede pumpkin spiced waffels. They were the best I ever had!! Hersey Chocolate World was only a 10 minute drive which I thought was great. We had dinner somewhere else and when we drove back the Inn was decorated with Christmas lights which made it evenmore stunning.

this place ranks with the best of them..the innkeepers and staff energetic..helpful..and accomodating..close to all...but hidden from the city environment..a place to relax.reconnect and escape from reality..the food..amenities and grounds were great..the inn offers little things that some more $$$inns dont..a stocked fridge...24-7 sweets and snacks..beer and wine..most of all the place was spotless..we usually do a different inn yearly but we are going here for our next b&b escape

My husband & I stayed here as a gift we received from friends. It is a charming house & the staff & owners are delightful. They offer genuine hospitality that is hard to come by in this fast paced world. My only regret is that we were not able to stay longer, but I know that can change the next time we decide to go! Definitely recommended!

Our stay at the Inn at Westwynd Farm was a honeymoon of sorts. My husband and I received tickets to Hershey Park as a wedding gift and I wanted to make it a little more special than a day trip. We spent the first day in Hershey exploring sites we had never seen and then stayed at the Inn before spending the day at the park. On arrival we were greated by Carole who gave us a tour of the inn and array of snacks. It was so much more welcoming than a stay at a standard hotel and more affordable. Our room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast the next morning was excellent. My husband even said "those were the best waffles I ever had" I would definately recomend the Inn at Westwynd Farm to anyone visiting the Hershey area and look forward to staying there again. The atmosphere definately gave our little get away the romatic feel I was hoping for.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Inn at Westwynd Farm. Everyone there was so nice the food was great and the farm and animals were so much fun to have around. The location is perfect! Just outside Hershey and near plenty of wineries! My fiance proposed at waterfall by the back patio! We will always remember our stay and I'm sure we'll have many more in the future.

We absolutely love the Inn. Ending our 6th stay at the Inn, just reminded us how much we love it. Frank and Carolyn make us feel right at home and allowing the children to stay is such an extra bonus. Breakfast is always good and all the snacks, beer and wine that are offered for free makes this place perfect. We look forward to visiting again soon.

This was my first time here and as soon as I pulled into the driveway, I knew I would love it! Even though we were early, Carolyn and Frank made us feel very welcome. The accommodations were excellent and I felt right at home. Very peaceful, beautiful views and of course, the freshly baked goods were delicious. I enjoyed sitting on a rocker drinking a glass of wine and couldn't wait to plan my next visit. I highly recommend the Inn.

We really enjoyed out stay at this bed and breakfast. The staff couldn't have been nicer, room and grounds were beatiful and relaxing! We had a full house but couldn't hear any of the other guests. They always had fresh baked goods out to nibble on, and the breakfasts were amazing! Would definately go back.
5 on July 04, 2013
This was our third visit and Frank & Carolyn treat everyone like old friends. We have gotten to know the "regular" staff and they all do an outstanding job of making sure everything is right for you. The goodies table is always well stocked with delicious homemade cookies / cake / etc. and it is very difficult to have just one. You never know what you will be having for breakfast, but you can count on it being plentifull and delicious. We really enjoy sitting on the huge front porch watching the horses in the various pastures and meeting other guests. We hope to return very soon as Westwynd is a great place to relax and enjoy real country surroundings. D&J

My husband and I were in town for a wedding and stayed at the Inn, this was our second time staying with Frank and Carolyn and their staff. They were the most pleasant and accomadating group of people. Showed interest in our Stay and asked often if we needed anything . Some of the other wedding guests stayed in hotels which were more expensive and no amenties or personal service

The Inn is a gem, located in Hershey, PA. If you are ever planning a trip to this area, this is definitely the place to stay. Beautiful grounds, wonderful inn, warm and friendly hosts, great food and treats - what more could you ask for? I hesitate to advertise this too widely, as I don't want too many people to find out about it and book all of the rooms! But this is truly one of the nicest B & B's I've ever stayed at.

5 on June 17, 2013
This is the third time I have stayed at Westwynd Farm, so you can see I love it there! The breakfasts are so yummy, and everyone is so kind and welcoming! It has a great location only 5 minutes from Hershey Park. I can't wait until I can go back again and sit on the porch and watch the horses!

Set back from the road, offering a wonderful view of the Lehigh Valley from the front rooms or fields where horses roam, the Inn at Westwynd Farms will allow you to rest and recharge your personal battery. In offering such beautiful accommodations and breakfasts (along with a bountiful table of baked fresh daily goodies) you will have plenty of energy to rest or to wander through the surrounding area, be it Hersey, Lebanon, Penn Dutch towns, or even Gettysburg. This, our second visit, was as wonderful as the first. It is akin to visiting the home of a dear relative or close friend. You will not be disappointed.

We can not say enough about how wonderful it was and how Frank and Carolyn made us feel right at home. Had time allowed,we would have stayed longer.Planning a trip back in April, can't wait. We would Definitly recommend this Inn to all friends and family.

My two young teenagers and I have stayed in a lot of B&Bs, and we all agreed that this is our new favorite. They were able to give us a room with two twin beds and cot for the price of a regular room - almost unheard of! We had a fireplace and a TV in our room, and could grab a DVD from the living room at any time. There is a table with cookies, brownies, coffee, tea, hot chocolate always available. It is a 5-10 minute drive from all Hershey attractions. Would highly recommend it.

Rita and I stayed for two nights at the Inn at Westwynd Farm. Frank and Carolyn were gracious hosts. There is plenty to explore on the farm and it is located within easy distance of very nice restaurants and antique shops. The food was excellent and the help was very friendly. We will stay there next time we travel through the area.

We visit the Inn at Westwynd Farm each year to celebrate our anniversary in November. It always exceeds our expectations. The rooms are beautifully and comfortably decorated! The breakfast is delicious and offers a full array of creative recipes (the cookbook is now available for purchase). Frank, Carolyn and Maralee are super friendly and very helpful with any needs you may have. The grounds are so pristine and offer a gorgeous view of the Inn itself and the horse farm that surrounds it. It is an A+ experience all the way around!

Loved staying here for the second time! We were in the carriage house which is a neat place. It has the capability of sleeping six guests, but there is only one bathroom which is on the ground floor and is not so convenient for the main sleeping area which is in the loft. That would be our only complaint. Frank and Carolyn are wonderful and VERY gracious with their home! Food is delicious and snacks and drinks are plentiful here. Would definitely recommend if you are in the Hershey, PA area!

It is obvious that there are no corners cut at Westwynd. I've rarely seen someone work as hard as Carolyn, from the gourmet breakfast, which included fresh grape juice from the vine, to the well appointed rooms and the beautiful landscaping. My only complaint is how difficult is was to walk in the front door and get past the array of baked goodies without taking some. My wife and I had an exceptional experience at Westwynd Farm. Carolyn provided some wonderful recommendations for dining and entertainment. I would, and have, reommend this inn to anyone looking for a super get-away.

Such a great place ~ everything you hope a Bed & Breakfast will be, plus so much more!! Lovely, bright and airy, peaceful rooms, (we stayed in the Killarney and were lulled to sleep by the water flowing into the pond outside our window) exquisite breakfasts (multi-course, gourmet and delcious!) and homemade treats available all day long. You won't be disappointed, I promise. First calss all the way. Everything you dreamed a B&B could be! Such a lovely place!
5 on September 11, 2012
I have never written a review of any place we have stayed but The Inn at Westwynd Farm was simply the best place we ever stayed. This includes top of the line hotels we have stayed over the years. No place ever made us feel as welcome, at home, at ease, as comfortable as Carolyn and her crew. As soon as you walk in you smell fresh baked goods only to walk up to a table filled with homemade pies, cookies, and the unbelievalbe Grape Crisp Pie. WOW!! The rooms, the sitting areas, the porch were all so clean and the added touches and details were amazing. There is plenty to do in the area but if you just hung out at Carolyn's we will be just as well off. Carolyn, thank you for a great weekend. We will be back!! Ron and Joy M.
Thank you so much for the wonderful comments! It means so much to us to know you were pleased. We had such fun getting to know you. We still picking grapes and freezing juice and jam and I've promised Frank more pie.

This was our second visit to Westwynd. We stayed 2 nights the first time and extended our visit to 3 nights this time. When you walk in the door, it feels like coming home. Carolyn and Frank are such gracious hosts and make everyone feel welcome and pampered. The pastoral setting with pastures filled with horses gently grazing in the sunlight is 'priceless'. We'll definitely be back again next summer. Thanks so much for a wonderful stay!

We enjoyed our initial stay at The Inn at Westwynd Farm so much last year, our children & grandchildren gave us a two day gift certificate, as a Christmas Present, which we just used to celebrate our 42nd wedding anniversary. Through various Timeshares and travel over the years, no place is more beautiful, peaceful and relaxing than The Inn at Westwynd. Carolyn, Frank and staff are as customer focused and friendly, as any of the 100 pluse places we have stayed over the years. We plan on yearly visits to this wonderful respit....
Thank You so much for the very kind words. It is such a pleasure having you here. We'll be looking forward to your next visit. Carolyn & Frank

This is a fantastic B&B nestled on a farm just three miles up the road from the Hershey Hotel and attractions. DO NOT MISS staying at this Inn. Carolyn and Frank, the Innkeepers, have thought of everything. You leave with a feeling of, "I can't wait to return to my second home!" Romantic, warm, friendly, relaxing...the list to describe this B&B goes on and on. We have stayed here this August and last, and are hoping to reserve a room for January to enjoy the area in the winter season. Be sure to put this Inn on your list of "must try it" places. My wife and I stayed at the Inn for just two nights but we really enjoyed our stay. I really liked the complimentary water/soda and all the snacks were a very nice plus. I felt like a guest in someones home, not just a customer staying at an Inn. Beautiful house and grounds. My only complaint was the wi-fi signal was weak in our room but I would definitely stay there again.
5 on August 08, 2012
Best B&B we've been to yet! All was perfect, serene, hospitable, and comfortable. Only suggestion is finding a more comfortable cot if you have an extra person staying in your room.

WE found this inn online. Our experience is usually the photos are actually better than it really is. However, we were pleasantly surprised to see the Inn was even better in person than in the photos. Frank and Carolyn were very welcoming and warm. The food was excellent and the accommodations were outstanding. You felt like you were in the middle of no where when actually you are within a couple of miles of Hershey. The grounds are beautiful and peaceful. We will definitely stay there again if we are in that area in the future. We highly recommend this Inn. Sue and Jack

We just stayed one night on our travels but would love to have stayed more! Goodies and drinks were always available, and then of course, there was always the chocolate. Carolyn and Frank recommended local restaurants for dinner amd it was obvious they try them themselves before passing on any recommendations to their guests. The grounds are wonderful and we watched the evening primroses literally bursting into bloom at dusk.

What a delightful three days! The host were very present but not overshadowing! The accommodations could not have been better, the breakfast so unique and delicious and the ambiance so peaceful! Such fun gathering around the Evening-blooming primrose with other guest, waiting for the blooms to literally pop open before our eyes. Even got a video of it. What overshadowed the whole experience was the love of our "daughter" who arranged it all! Jen, you are beyond five-star!! Daryl & Rhoda

The honeymoon was a complete surprise, she didn't know where we were going until we pulled into the farm driveway. I wanted to take my wife to the sweetest place on earth to experience a more peaceful way of life in the heart of the amish culture of our country while getting to enjoy a spectacular live theater show at sight and sound theater. The first thing we did upon arriving was fire up the tub with the complimentary bath herbs, while indulging in chocolate covered strawberries and sparkling cider. The rooms are the cleanest I've ever stayed in. The towels plush and the sheets can't get any softer. Before choosing westwynd I researched every single bed and breakfast in pennsylvania down to every detail and I can say that for what I was looking for the westwynd was the place. It had a private balcony, fireplace, in room jacuzzi, king sized bed, a good/modern a/c (I like the room cooler so it was perfect!) the breakfasts absolutely delicious and can't be beat, stocked fridge with drinks for guests and carols delicious baked treats always stocked up and waiting to please you as you walk in the door. Frank and Carol were both very hospitable along with their staff. They would conversate and made you feel like you weren't just their guests but their friends, their family. They offered help and recommendations while still remaining respectful of guest time and space. if your looking to get away, want a place that's not cliche, not tropical, something different, in the beautiful countryside of pennsylvania, if your looking to take your sweetheart to the sweetest place on earth, if you want to bring your kids to a fun place to learn about milton hershey, a selfless and successful american entrepeneur that made his dream come to life, if you want to escape the hustle and bustle of the city for a time to learn about and experience the amish culture while making amish friends, take a rest at the westwynd. You will be happy you did. -Jake

This was the most beautiful bed and breakfast we've visited. Carolyn and Frank were so hospitable and did everything to make our stay unforgettable. We are already planning a return and can't say enough about how wonderful our weekend was at this inn.

An ideal vacation hosted by Frank and Carolyn Troxell and their gracious and accommodating Westwynd staff. The rooms are bright, and beautifully decorated in a pleasing country motif; the guest rooms are very clean with spacious comfortable beds. The excellent gourmet break- fast is the perfect way to start the day. Always available are a variety of home baked goods, and beverages. Visits to the barn bring you contact with the two yellow labs and their friends; horses, ponies, a donkey, goats, alpacas, and many active barn cats. The wrap around porch offers great views, opportunities to chat , read, or just relax. A special treat was the opening of the night blooming primrose bush and the visitations of the hummingbird moths. I look forward to returning to the beautifully maintained Inn at Westwynd Farm. K

Where do I begin? From the hospitality of a personal tour upon our arrival to the visual delights all over the Inn & grounds, to the delicious home prepared baked goods and hot, delicious breakfasts to the luxury of our in-room hot tub and fireplace. A wonderful getaway for newlyweds or a much needed break from everyday demands.. Our weekend stay felt like a two week vacation. Can't wait to come back!

We spent our 10 year wedding anniversary here in the Trapper Room. The room was beautiful and full of antique furniture and a two person jacuzzi. Private patio as well. Breakfast was delicious, home made and just perfect down to the eating utensils and china and crystal. I highly recommend The Inn at Westwynd farm as we will be returning there frequently!

We found the Inn at Westwynd Farm through the Select Registry guide. We were looking for a B & B close to Mt. Gretna. The Inn at Westwynd Farm exceeded our expectations. Carolyn and Frank welcomed us warmly and made us feel very much at home. We appreciated the cold beverages and tasty treats that were provided us upon our arrival and were there for us at any time of the day or night. We enjoyed visiting the barn, as the Inn at Westwynd Farm is a working farm. The accommodations are comfortable and beautiful. We would consider returning to the Inn at Westwynd Farm.

Wonderful place to stay. Host and Hostess were delightful and went out of their way to make us comfortable. My Wife sprained her ankles prior to arriving and they even loaned us a wheelchair and walker. They could not have been nicer. I highly recommend to anyone. John and Faith Greenfield

We just returned from the Inn and I have to say it was the nicest place I have ever stayed. The property is beautiful and so much nicer than stayingin a hotel. The kids got up and went into the barn and fed the horses and the goats. Everyone was so nice and my kids loved the entire experience. I cannot say enough how totally AMAZING this place is. Personally, I am a total clean freak and this was the cleanest place I have ever stayed. We will definately come back again.

Carolyn and Frank are wonderfull hosts who make you feel comfortable and welcome immediately. We celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary with a 3 night stay in the Kilarny Room. We especially enjoyed the view of the pastures and horses from the large front porch. We also enjoyed quiet time on the patio by the pond listening to the waterfall and the bull frog. The accomodations were very clean and comfortable. There were always goodies on the table and breakfast was varied and delicious. This was our first visit and we are looking forward to our next visit in the fall.

This Inn is exactly as the website describes, and then some! It's so clean and comfortable, and welcoming too. The atmosphere is very comfortable and relaxing, my family and I enjoyed walking the grounds and visiting the horses. The food was delicious - and the snack spread was incredible! Home-made goodies that melted in our mouths made us keep going back for more. We wished that we had planned more time at this Inn and will certainly go back at our earliest opportunity. You can't go wrong if you stay here.

We loved the peace and quiet and the rocking chairs and pond with water fall. It was great having the horses both in the barn to pet and in the fields to watch. Frank and Carolyn were soooo welcoming and made us feel right at home. They had our comfort and needs in mind at all times. The goodies were great!

We spent a wonderfully relaxing weekend here. The room was perfect, up on the second floor. We never heard a sound while we were in our room overlooking the yard. Wandering around the farm is very pleasant. Sitting on the patio or front porch is a great way to spend an evening. Breakfasts were great and also relaxing. Just right. The afternoon (and evening) snacks were a great treat. Location was great, as we got around Hershey and down into Lancaster county. All in all, a great weekend! Highly recommended!

Everything is the same as always wonderful, charming, outstanding personal service, awesome food and great rooms! Hope to visit again on my second, third, fourth etc. anniversary!

Our stay at Westwynd Farm was WONDERFUL! We had requested that the three of us be accommodated in one room and the Troxell's saw to it that it worked perfectly. The weather was cooler and damper than we'd expected but the fireplace in the room made it extra cozy. They suggested a favorite nearby restaurant that was fun and delicious. Sent us on our way after breakfast with Gettysburg site seeing suggestions. Thought the guest refrigerator was a definite plus. It was such a pleasure to meet the Troxells and be welcomed into their home. Carolyn, Katy and Carol

They say "three's a charm!" We tried for 2 years to get to the Westwynd Inn Farm and something always came up. We finally made it there on May 11, 2012 to celebrate our 27th wedding anniversary. The Inn and grounds are absolutely gorgeous! Our room "Trapper" was beautiful, quite and secluded. Thank you Martha, Jane and the rest of the staff for making us feel like family. It takes very special people to open their home to strangers and treat them like family but Frank and Carolyn did this. We felt right at home right from the beginning. What a beautiful home! We even made friend with AJ the cat and were surprised when he meowed to be let in and jumped on the foot of our bed for the rest for the night. We felt right at home. We would recommend staying here to anyone considering it. Wonderful!

This was our third stay at this rambling B&B, situated on a gorgeous, verdant Lancaster County PA equestrian estate. We keep coming back because the hosts and staff here make living in pampered luxury seem effortless and unpretentious. On our first day, I savored a morning cup of coffee on our own patio and watched a horse and rider canter by, then stop and execute a group of lovely dressage moves, and continue on their way. Just another average morning at Westwynd. The breakfasts were exquisite; the entryway table was always heaped with freshly-baked delectables (and fruit, for those of us who could contain the constant mind-bending temptation); the bedrooms were gorgeous and the public rooms were warm and welcoming. What else is there to say, except: we're going back soon!

My partner and I had our 3rd visit at Westwynd Farms and they don't disappoint. What I love about this place over all is the cozy & welcoming atmosphere. It's very relaxed and their home is yours even if it's just for a few days. They are very generous when it comes to goodies and treats. There's always home baked goods on the table all day with coffee & teas. Downstairs is a family room with a large stone fireplace and a water feature right outside the french doors. They keep beer & wine in the fridge along with popcorn, pretzels & snacks. Their resident cat can pop out at anytime and you just couldn't have a more relaxed atmosphere. The owners are laid back & welcoming and their support staff is wonderful in particular Jane & Marilee. I always look forward to my stay at Westwynd Farms. Once again they've come thru with their hospitality & home away from home atmosphere. I would highly recommend to anyone going thru the Hershey/Hummelstown area to check out this gem of a bed & breakfast. Brenda & Mike Baltimore MD

We recently stayed at the Inn at Westwynd Farm and had a delightful time. I told my husband that I had the most relaxing and fun time I have ever had at a B & B there. We met some great people and loved the friendly atmosphere. Everyone was so gracious and kind, we felt like family. The value of the stay cannot be beat. We enjoyed Hershey and didn't have to pay top dollar at the Hershey Hotel. This B & B is the find of the year! We will definitely be back. We met one couple who has been back 7 times within 3 years. I can see why.

We stayed there for our babymoon (last vacation before our baby is born) and it was so relaxing. We spent time at the barn petting the horses and other animals. We plan on going back very soon.

This was an amazingly charming B&B. The staff was super friendly and made a person feel right at home. It is a great feeling to smell cookies and brownies baking in the oven everyday. I booked the Inn as a Christmas present to my partner and thought it would be a nice romantic getaway and it definitely met that expectation. The rooms were very clean and inviting. The only problem I found was that four days before our visit I contacted them to let them know dietary restrictions (no meat, fish or eggs). I'm not sure whether they received the email or maybe I should have followed up again when I got there, but there were eggs for breakfast each day, as well as other things. I made due and it wouldn't stop me from going there again, but I thought I would be good to include in the review. I highly recommend The Inn at Westwynd and will definitely be going back.
We pride ourselves on accomodating special dietary needs. I am so very sorry yours were not met. I can't imagine what could have happened... but we will certainly discuss it with our staff. I have been sidelined with a badly broken leg but even though I can not be in the kitchen we are working hard to continue to pamper our guests. I do hope you will give us a second chance to create some wonderful breakfasts just for you.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Westwynd. The service and warmth we received from Carolyn and Frank was a difference maker, like spending time with old friends. The opportunity to walk the grounds and spend an afternoon with the horses allowed for relaxation beyond my expectations. This is definitely the best inn we have been to. The owners and staff are so warm and friendly. The inn is clean and breakfast is amazing! The smell of baked goods fills the air as Carolyn (the owner) is always baking cookies/cake etc. for the guests to enjoy. We have been to the inn 5 times over the past few years (at different times of the year) and the most recent time was during the Christmas season. It is decorated beautifully (inside and out). If you love animals this is the place to go to (they have a variety of farm animals you can visit in the barn and an adorable indoor/outdoor cat "AJ" that loves giving as well as receiving attention)! It is our "home away from home!"

If you are looking for a way to rekindle your marriage or start off on the right foot, this is the place for you. While we only have 8 years under our belt, we have three kids under 5. There are times that we forget what brought us together, During our stay, my husband would open the car door and be sure I was settled before he would shut it. Yes that was one of the important things that got lost in the shuffle. If you want a place to slow down and remember "why do I love you" this is the place for you.

It was the first time that my husband and I ever went to a Bed & Breakfast. We traveled with another couple and they were equally impressed with the Inn and their room. Staying here was the right choice. From the moment we arrived, we felt at home. Every detail carefully crafted to the decor to give you a warm, friendly, and inviting feeling. The Inn keepers are Carolyn & Frank, a married retired couple. You wouldn't know that they are retired. They run their Inn extremely efficiently. Although they have staff to help, they are in charge. Carolyn has the day shift; she does a lot of great cooking and Frank has the evening shift. They are there when you wake up for Breakfast and when you return after a long day out. Our Breakfast server was Marilee, also retired, but so youthful, so friendly, what a delightful woman! Carolyn & Frank have a cat, named AJ that also seems to greet you and he doesn't mind being petted. Our rooms were The Bright Flash, and The Trapper. These rooms are quite, large, clean, and are decorated nicely. They have a Library, a Living Room, Dinning Room, full kitchen with a sitting area. Homemade snacks are provided all day as well as coffee, tea, water, soda, wine and beer. They have a barn that you can visit with horses, a few animals, some outdoor cats and two dogs. Several times my husband & I requested to be adopted by Carolyn & Frank. We highly recommend that you stay here and you too will be calling them affectionately, “Mom & Dad”. FIVE STARS!!!

My husband and I decided on a last minute getaway to Pennsylvania. The Inn at Westwynd Farm was the best B&B experience we have had so far. It is set in the country, but just minutes from Hershey and other attractions, such as great wineries and shopping. Our room was beautifully decorated, comfortable and very clean. All of the homemade snacks and the breakfast were exceptionally delicious. The Innkeepers were very hospitable and generous with all of the little extras, from the complementary beverages to toiletries and chocolate candy in our room! The only regret we have as that we could not stay a little longer. This is definitely an Inn that we intend to visit again! We are already planning our next trip. Yvonne & Lee Bridgewater, NJ

It was our first experience at a B&B. The house was very clean and we were made to feel very welcome. The room was excellent. We were there for the free night for veterans so it was totally free and we still feel like we were treated like full paying customers. Overall the experience was fantastic. I would like to thank all the places that offer this service to our veterans.

This was my fifth stay at the Inn at Westynd Farms and as usual it was a most relaxing enjoyable experience. I bring all my friends and family here when I can during the year and each one appreciates the relaxed environment at the Inn as well as it being centered to so many activities and things to do. This time I brought my boyfriend and he too agrees that this is great place to stay for the price and can’t wait to go back in the spring. We stayed in the room called Trapper and it had a balcony with table and chairs. It was very relaxing to sip wine and look out over the pastures and trees sitting outdoors. Later we reclined in the lower common area outside and enjoyed the water fall and talked until it was time for dinner and the sun was going down (very beautiful). Carolyn and Frank are always very nice and are there if you need any advice on where to go or what to see (the map Carolyn gives you is very helpful to navigate around Hershey). As usual it was a perfect visit and we look forward to the spring and seeing the roses at the Hershey Garden in full bloom.

My mom, sister and I usually do a girls weekend every year. This year we decided to revisit Hershey Pa and decided to stay at the same Inn we stayed three years ago - Inn at Westwynd Farm. We had a great time back in 2008 and enjoyed the food and the farm. Reservations were easy and all plans were in place. The night before our arrival, we had an unexpected family emergency which resulted in the loss of a dear family member. Knowing the Inn's cancellation policy, I made the call the next morning to cancel our stay and approve the credit card charges. No one answered the phone so I left a message. An hour later Carolyn called to confirm our stay arrangements and I explained the situation. To my utter amazement, she instantly waived all cancellation fees and told me that she hoped once things were better, we would come and stay. A truly remarkable & compassionate woman. You bet that once things have settled - we will be re-booking our visit.

My wife and I made our reservation prior to Hurricane Irene blowing through and were just planning a quiet respite from work and family. However, the hurricane dumped several feet of water in our basement and we almost cancelled our plans. Am I ever so glad we didn't. After dealing with the stress of work etc., and then having flood cleanup to deal with, the getaway was needed more than ever. The Inn is gorgeous and Frank and Carolyn are wonderful hosts. Breakfast was a treat each morning, (Carolyn made eggs in a ham cup one morning that I could have eaten until I was ill and my cholesterol skyrocketed). It took a bit longer to get to the heart of Amish country than I expected but if liesurely drives through the countryside, rolling hills and farms sounds relaxing to you, this inn is PERFECT.

This was the second time that we stayed at The Inn at Westwynd Farm and I must say this place is the best. The room was beautiful and inviting. The breakfast is "truely amazing", on the last day we had Carolyn's Signature Breakfast Blossums which are my favorite. I highly recommend The Inn for your stay and my wife and I will be back next October. This place is second to none!

Six college friends and I spent 2 nights at the Inn in mid October and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. One of the girls booked the Carriage House and it provided a very private place to order in and spend the evening talking away without disturbing the other guests, yet was adjacent to the Inn and a quick walk back to our rooms. Although it didn't affect me, a few of the girls were allergic to the "resident" cat so be aware if that is a factor for you.

Thanks to Carolyn, Frank and the great staff for another great stay at the farm. What a great place to stay to get away from it all. The breakfasts are delicious especially the Pumpkin pancakes. I would highly recommend staying at this Inn whenever you come to Hershey. They make you feel pampered and at home.

We were looking for a peaceful getaway and found it at Westwynd Farm. We stayed in the Carriage House for the privacy and found it to be perfect. Useable closet space is a little lacking but with a living room, dining room and full kitchen, it had everything we needed - including lots of Hershey chocolates. The winding staircase is not for the faint of heart but is probably lots of fun for children. Carolyn's baked goods are available all the time and are as yummy as her breakfasts. The animals are plentiful and friendly. We'll definitely be back!

This was our second time at Westwynd. Top of the line B&B would recommend to anyone. Innkeepers and staff could not be nicer always present for anything you need. Breakfast was a treat always homemade and the sweets to eat upon arrival were many. Cant wait to go back.

We have been visiting this B&B since 2006 and always have a wonderful time! Our room is always perfect and very clean! Carolyn always has a delicious multi-course breakfast and enough to eat so that typically we don't have to eat lunch! The staff is always very helpful and friendly. Lots of great snacks and pastries available in the afternoon and evening! A wonderful and beautiful place to visit!

We loved our stay at the Inn at Westwynd. It is situated on a hill overlooking a beautiful horse farm with a babbling brook on the side and surrounded by flowers all around the inn. The hosts are warm and welcoming and accommodate your every need so that you are always comfy, cozy and relaxed. The breakfasts are delicious and there is a constant supply of freshly baked cookies, cakes and brownies all through the day. The rooms are beautifully decorated with antiques, comfortable soft linens and bedding and stocked with all the amenities. The hosts and all the staff are extremely warm and friendly. This inn is as close to perfect as it can possibly be...and we have been to hundreds of B&Bs through the years. We LOVED it!!! Phyllis & Mel Citrin, Suffern, NY

My husband and I had never been to your Inn let alone any small bed and breakfast inn at all. We have always stayed in very high end hotels. I have to admit my husband was skeptical, as was I but not as much. I really wanted to experience the "flavour" of the area that we were visiting because I have relatives who live near by and I had never been to visit them. Well both my husband and I were extremely happy with our experience, and felt very comfortable the whole time we were at your Inn. After the first day we felt like we lived there thats how welcoming and interested in us the owners made us feel. Thanks again for a lovely stay, we might just be back!

The setting, service, rooms and food are all outstanding. Frank and Carolyn are very welcoming and have great ideas about where to go and what to do in Hershey. We love spending time there and look forward to returning during the Holiday Season. Staying there is like being in a 5 star hotel with a family atmosphere. Tom and Annette P.

My wife and I recently stayed here for our honeymoon and I gotta say it was one of the nicest places we've ever visited. The room was amazing and the farm is just immaculate. We plan to return every year for our anniversary. In fact we may even go back for a weekend this winter.

We stayed in the room "In our time" at The Inn at Westwynd Farm. The room is spacious, has a private outside entrance, a jacuzzi and fireplace. Hershey chocolates are a nice touch too. It has a nice King size bed which is very comfortable. You have a wonderful view of the garden pond and waterfall. They have a outdoor furniture to relax on while enjoying some R & R time. They have books, games, snacks, wi fi, a computer, and don't forget the barn. In the barn they board beautiful horses. presently 24. They also have alpacas, a burro, barn cats, goats and 2 dogs, Pete and Polly. Pete is very friendly and Polly has to warm up to you. If you don't enjoy animals or suffer from allergies, the barn is away from the home. We personally love animals and enjoyed this freedom to roam. We loved the fact we got a wide variety of times to pick from to enjoy breakfast. Unfortunately, we had to pick an early time to get home early. If you stay here please take the time to enjoy your entire time. You won't regret it. Back to the breakfast. It was fabulous. The handcrafted pottery, beautiful place settings, along with the excellent food and hospitality of Frank, Carolyn and staff is priceless. We hope you get a chance to visit this perfect B & B.

I spent two days and nights at the Inn and it was such an amazing experience. The Inn was beautiful, clean and well stocked. The surroundings were gorgeous and peaceful. The food was amazing and the staff excellent. The rooms had the finest bathing products, complete with new toothbrushes, if needed. The wrap around porches allowed one to watch the horses grazing or see the butterflies in the butterfly garden or watch the waterfall in the beautiful rock garden. The Innkeepers, Carolyn and Frank, and their staff were all wonderful and accomodating and the food was delicious and all prepared fresh for each individual, depending on their likes and dislikes. Above all else, relaxation and comfort were more than one could have hoped for. My husband and I will definitely be going back. Sooner, rather than later, I hope. Susan Gadoury Tabernacle, New Jersey

Our two nights at Westwynd Farm were just what we needed to unwind. The hospitality was more than we expected; we felt like we were visiting with family. The staff makes sure there are cold drinks and snacks available at all times and the gourmet breakfasts were perfect. Every detail has been taken care of including bath robes and the jacuzzi tub in our room was another perfect touch. We can't wait until we can go back again.

Carolyn and Frank are congenial hosts at this beautiful and relaxing inn. The rooms are lovely, well appointed, and clean; the common spaces are welcoming and have everything a traveler might need; and the breakfasts are delicious! Looking out my window from the Sea Gift room, I could see horses peacefully grazing in the back paddock. The Inn at Westwynd Farm has my highest recommendation, and the next time I return to the Hershey area, I plan to stay here again.

We stayed at Westwynd during the rain and floods of Sept, 2011. Carolyn and Frank were on top of everything and made sure that other guests as well as ourselves received as much help as possible in getting both in and out of Westwynd as possible. Breakfast was excellent and Carolyn fixed us dinner the one night when going out would have been difficult or impossible. The room was fine, and the "common areas" of the house were extremely cozy and comfortable. Wish we could have had more time and better conditions to have experienced the farm and the animals.

We stay at many B and B's regularly and this is one of the best. Location, rooms, attention to guests, breakfast is the best, cats, dogs, horses in the barn, country location yet close to attractions. The owner, Carolyn, treats this not like a business but like a home for you away form home. Wow, I would and have visited many times. Stunning and well worth it. If we ever have a B and B this is the way to have it. O... our other favorite is the White Pig Barn in Schyler VA.

I'd always wanted to stay at a bed and breakfast so while searching for my husband and I's latest vacation I came across Westwynd Inn. The pictures made it look so relaxing and inviting I booked it! When we got there I couldn't believe how nice of a place the inn was. Our vacation was one of the most relaxing vacations and most of it was because of this amazing place we stayed at. I loved coming "home" every evening to a nice relaxing night in one of the living rooms with a good book. Mornings were exceptional with such a delicious breakfast and great company! The innkeepers were more than hospitable and the attention to detail was impeccable. If we lived closer we would stay a lot more often! This is so much better than a hotel! We loved everything about our stay and will definitely be back again!

As usual, your hospitality was above and beyond the call of duty. We shared Westwynd with our children and our grandkids as well as friends from California. At every opportunity, you and your staff made us feel at home and welcomed. The kids especially enjoyed the horses, and seeing and feeding them in the barn. We would also be remiss if we did not mention that the food was top-drawer, scrumptious, and plentiful. Thanks for having us and making our stay so enjoyable. We'll definitely be back again. The Best thing that I can say about The Inn at Westwynd Farms is that we never want to go anywhere else for our anniversary. Wonderful people welcome you, scrumptious breakfasts and goodies all day long, and you are made to feel like "Royalty." No request is too much trouble! Smiles and kindness abound! You will not be dissapointed!

There is a welcoming home-like quality to Westwynd. We were greeted with brownies fresh from the oven, served with a scoop of ice cream. There are complimentary beverages and snacks available around the clock. The staff is friendly and fun. The beds were very comfortable and the breakfasts were ample and tasty. The landscaping, balconies/porches and electric candles in the rooms all really enhanced the stay.

We checked in later in the evening & we were greeted with kindness & warm yummy desserts right out of the oven! We indulged & took our desserts outside to a lovely sitting area, it was so peaceful. Everything was beautiful. However, in our room, the one & only complaint we had was that there was nothing on the bathroom window for privacy whenever you stepped out of the shower. Granted the window faced a field, but there was other guests out walking around in the morning & I had to put up a towel over the window to block there view from me getting out of the shower! Dont get me wrong though, we will go back for sure! We stayed at a lot of B&B's over the years, and this one is now at the top of our repeat list!
We are so very glad that you enjoyed your time with us. Your kind words brightened our day. Thank you for sharing your concern about privacy. The curtains at that bathroom window rest on hold backs. For privacy, you just close the curtains. We will make sure to point that feature out to future guests.

This is the best B&B I have ever stayed at. Only 3 minutes from Hershey Park yet out in the country. The food is AWESOME and there are always cookies, brownies, cakes and pies available all day. The price also includes wine, sode and (if available) beer. Stayed Friday and Saturday night in the "In Our Time" room. Total price by the end of weekend (Including all taxes) was only $397. The staff is also very friendly and really go out of the way to make you feel at home. My wife and I already book a weekend in December. We want to see Hershey at Christmas.

This was our first visit to a B&B, and it couldn't have been more wonderful. The building is cozy and beautiful on a lovely farm with horses, dogs, and cats. The food was delicious, and we were made to feel like we were part of the family while there. We are already planning our next visit and cannot recommend them highly enough.

The many 5 star reviews tells the whole story. If you read these reviews before booking as I always do, this is what makes your eyes light up. And this one is no difference. I won't go into details of the actual site as others have done, but will just say this has it all and the best part is it takes under 10 minutes to get to Hershey.. The innkepper has 3-4 different baked goods sitting out the whole time and changes each day.. THis is the standard to set others by and one I go back to at each Hershey visit, even though I am one to like trying different B&B's all the time.

My mother and I stayed here for a getaway from work life and the traditional, impersonal hotel feel. Carol and Frank, the innkeepers, were fantastic. Not only were they friendly and accommodating, they gave the best directions and baked the most wonderful snacks and breakfasts. Visiting the horses in the morning before breakfast and having AJ, one of the barn cats, visit for a few hours one night were moments that especially stood out. The beautiful water fountain and many garden sitting areas were graced with scores of butterflies and various birds - I spent a few hours on the porch watching them in between reading. The room was very comfortable and the view amazing (We stayed in the Killarney). I loved their mugs, available to purchase, as well. They fit into the hand so snugly. The next time we come out to Hershey, we will certainly be staying here again.

This is an excellent palce to stay in the Hershey area as it is convenient to all of the attractions (e.g., Hersheypark, Giant Center, Outlets). The rooms are well-decorated and furnished and the landscaping is wonderful. Take the opportunity to visit the barn and the horses. The breakfast was excellent and the service was great! We will be returning.

This is the first time my husband and I had ever been to Hershey, PA and only the second time we have ever stayed in an Inn. We were glad to be able to find an Inn reasonably priced in comparison to the hotels in the area. The Westwynd was in a great location just a few minutes from the main areas of Hershey. The Innkeepers kept you well fed for breakfast and snacks. We will return again.

Our family arrived last week from 4 separate locations around the country for a wonderful stay. The carriage house gave us a private common area for the family to gather and eat together and cook when we wanted. The house and rooms were beautiful and welcoming. We enjoyed the extensive grounds, the horses and played a lively game of wiffle ball one afternoon. Carolyn and Frank and Marilee and Martha were all delightful hosts and eager to help with anything we asked. The breakfasts and afternoon treats were delicious! In short, we were all pleased with our experience and I know I plan to return. Thank you for a helping our first family reunion be a success!

The inn was beautiful, clean and the cost was extraordinary for the amenities received. A 3 course breakfast started each day and each evening was spent on the wrap around porch listening to the bull frog in the running waterfall. The beds were comfy and children were allowed which was very nice for us. The room was filled with chocolate and the inn keeper baked each day to provide an evening home baked treat that was scrumptious after a long day of tourist activities.

This B&B was so far above any standard I could think of. Food, staff, room, grounds, extras...the list never ends. I kno no other thing to say but this was one of the best stays I have experienced and my wife & I have traveled the world & stayed I 5 star facilities that dim to this experience.

My sister and I had a great time at The Inn at Westwynd Farm. Sitting on the front porch, enjoying the view and soft sounds of the farm, were very relaxing --just what we needed. Food, especially breakfast, was wonderful. We hope to return again.

This is truly a wonderful Inn. The proprietress and staff are gracious and always helpful. The rooms are equipped with gas log fireplaces and fitted out with beautiful craft and antique decorations. Breakfast is served family-style in an attractve and airy dining room. The food is all prepared at the inn and is truly delicious. The rest of the Inn is accessible to guests, and is filled with an amazing selection of art, crafts and antiques. The inn is surrounded by fields enclosed by white fences, within which horses can be seen grazing. A barn, accessible to guests, that is adjacent to the inn houses many beautiful horses.

We stayed at the Inn for one night and went to Hershey Park. The Inn is very nice and the Hostess was very friendly and had lots of sweets set out for the guests. The room was big and had all the modern amenities. The farm land is beautiful and peaceful. The guest fridge was stocked with beer, wine, soda, water and there was popcorn, granola bars, and plenty of Hershey candies all around.... not to mention the wonderful cookies and cakes provided by the Hostess. We had a rather short, but enjoyable stay. The inn very close and a direct shot to Hershey Park.

My wife and I stayed at the Inn in July. Immediately upon arrival we were graciously greeted and taken on a quick tour of the Inn to made certain we were comfortable. The rooms were very clean, neat and nicely furnished. There were cookies and other snacks made fresh during the day and the breakfast was also outstanding. We were free to roam the farm to see the animials and even the barn was well kept as were the animals. We will be going back again in December to take in the winter scene. Not sure if you can do any better than this place.

We stayed at Westwynd for two nights last month. It was absolutely beautiful and I wish we could have stayed longer. My favorite things were simply reading on one of the many porches and just wandering the property to see the animals and wildlife. If we ever travel up that way again, we will be sure to visit again. The room was clean, comfortable and very relaxing with a jacuzzi and fireplace. Our girls stayed in a little room across the hall and shared our bath which was a great value! They too enjoyed just relaxing (they are both in their early twenties).
5 on July 04, 2011
The Inn is Gorgeous, Extremely Clean, and Whimsical we felt as though we stepped back in time but with all the benefits of Modern day society. We will definitely be visiting this Inn again.

After a wild and crazy fun day at Hershey, just 5 minutes away you will find a different world. Our stay at The Inn at Westwynd was the best B&B we have ever visited. The house is beautifully done and our room was sparkling clean and comfortable. Sitting in the rocker out front looking out at the horses and gorgeous landscape was a lovely, relaxing experience. This is definitely a place I plan to visit again and I highly recommend it. You won't be disappointed.

My wife and I celebrated our 29th anniversary at the Westwynd and had afantastic time. It was all we could have expected. The owners and staff were there to serve you and they could not have been nicer. They made sure we were comfortable and happy. I have a medical condition and they made sure everything was as I needed. The food was great and the room and grounds beautiful. Thank you so much for a unforgettable anniversary. Say hello to AJ and Peaches for us. John and Barb

My wife and I arrived and were greeted at the door by Carolyn at once. She showed us around and took us to our room. The room was nice, especially the 2 person jacuzzi tub. The carpet had some stains, but the room in general was clean and presentable. Minus the TV being what I believe was 13" everything in the room was very nice and welcoming. The breakfast and snack treats were EXCELLENT as well as the stocked guest refrigerator with drinks of many choices. We will be making a return trip again.
5 on June 27, 2011
We were extremely happy about all aspects of our stay. The Innkeepers were very welcoming and seem to enjoy what they do. They are genuinely nice people as is their helpful staff. Also, the farm staff was wonderful too. We never felt awkward or like we were a bother in any way. I have never felt so relaxed and happy as I did at Westwynd. Thank you!
5 on June 27, 2011
This is the second time that we have stayed at the Inn and it is just wonderful. They have expanded since the last time we were there but it was still a wonderful relaxing place. Carolyn was very accommodating to my husband's gluten intolerance and the breakfasts and snacks were delicious. The rooms and the Inn are just beautiful. We love the Inn at Westwynd Farm.

Our stay at the Westwynd Farm was incredibly relaxing. The grounds are simply gorgeous and the Innkeeper is very friendly. The location is an easy 5 minute drive from Hershey Attractions, yet you do not feel too close to the madness!

This was our first visit to a Bed and Breakfast with our sons. They didn't believe me that we would be staying at an inn so close to Hershey Park. The candy in the room was a treat for them and they loved the sweets in the foyer and loved the breakfast. My husband and I enjoyed sitting out on the porch with our wine to watch the fireflies. It was a very relaxing stay at the Westwynd Farm and it's within 10 minutes of Hershey Park. Our hosts were hospitable and helpful, we would love to return.
5 on June 23, 2011
Frank and Carolyn run a truly amazing B&B. The location is extremely convenient. They have a beautiful and tranquil oasis that is just minutes away from the hustle and bustle of Hershey. Carolyn was so sweet and recommended some wonderful restaurants for dinner. Their breakfast was over the top. My wife and I stayed in 5 different Bed and Breakfast’s during this trip and we can say without a doubt that we saved the best for last!

My daughter and I stayed 2 nights during the summer of 2009 and loved this place. Wonderful room, beautifully decorated, great food, delicious snacks and treats and an idyllic setting. We loved it so much, we are returning for 2 more nights this summer and bringing along a friend and her child. This is THE place to stay if you are visiting Hershey. Has much more reasonable rates than the Hershey Lodge or Hotel Hershey. And is much quieter too!
5 on June 16, 2011
We stayed in the Carriage House and there was room for the entire family! Upon arrival, we were greeted warmly and there was a table full of home-made treats...brownies, cookies, candies and drinks! The hosts were there for all of our needs and the breakfast was AWESOME! That's what my grandson said of the scrambled eggs benedict! Thanks for making our stay so comfortable!

We stayed in the Landar Room and our first impression was very favorable. The staff was warm and friendly and the overall home was very beautiful and relaxing. However, some things were wrong with the room that needs attention. The CD player would not come on, the outlets in the sink area were not working and the Jacuzzi wouldn't operate. The battery candles were nice but the ones on the wall need new batteries. Carolynn adjusted our rate and apologized for the inconvenience. I would come back and I would recommend the Inn because things happen, so I tell you these things so the next guests will have an outstanding stay.
Our guests enjoyment of their time here is extremely important to us. We truly regret the problems you experienced in your room. A tripped ground fault was the culprit and caused the the jacuzzi, sink outlets and DVD player not to function. As soon as it was pressed, everything returned to working order. We are checking with our electrician to be sure it does not happen again. The batteries in the candles have been replaced. Every feature in the room is checked by our staff before guests arrive Sometimes I think there are gremlins who disrupt things when we are unaware... but we are genuinely concerned that your time is here as special as possible and do hope the the discount on your stay eased your disappointment somewhat.

This is one of the most beautiful places we have been in a long time. We stayed here two years ago in June and we couldn't wait to get back. It was hard because they seem to be always booked. We spent our 31th Wedding anniversary on June/2011 here. My wife was ill and they took care of us. We made arangements to return in October /2011 with the whole family, and once again we were told that if there is something we need that is missing to please let them know and they will take care of it. They are the BEST! The Montalvo's

I was extremely impressed with all aspects of our stay at this b&b. We chose one of the less expensive rooms but it was comfortable and finding the bowl of hershey treats in our room upon arrival was a great detail. We also had access to the downstairs where they had microwave popcorn available, wine and snacks at any time. It was like being at a close friend's house where you can feel comfortable relaxing in their living room or sitting on the front porch with the added benefit of having breakfast made for you each morning. It definitely deserves the awards it has received.
5 on June 12, 2011
Another great B&B! Outstanding in every way! The hosts are extremely friendly and helpful. If you love horses, as my wife does, it is the perfect spot! Waking up in the morning, looking out upon pastures with horses grazing - fantastic! Breakfast in the morning was very good! A choice of times were available, all you had to do was specify when the night before. There was beer, wine and soda available at all times, as well as coffee and tea. And of course, being this close to Hershey PA, there was chocolate available everywhere! We would have loved to stay another night!

We had a fabulous stay at this beautiful bed and breakfast. We found this place online and loved the idea and affordability to be able to stay at a bed and breakfast so close to the Hershey attractions. Our expectations were exceeded the moment we pulled up the drive. Our room was beautiful, the service was pleasant and welcoming. We had a lovely walk around the property where we got to meet many of the cute animals. Breakfast the next day was delicious. We will definetly be booking another stay here in the future.

I surprised my fiance with a romantic stay at The Inn at Westwynd Farm. I usually don't like the B&B atmosphere but we both really enjoyed our brief stay. We had to leave sooner than planned due to his illness so I'll have to be sure to plan another trip there. The baked goods added a very nice touch and our room was beautiful!

My husband and I were blessed to receive a weekend at Westwynd at a Christmas gift from our daughter. Although the weather was not the best, we had our own bit of sunshine at Westwynd. At this beautiful piece of Heaven on Earth, we were treated like a royal couple. We had great accomodations, delicious breakfasts and treats galore. It felt like a home away from home. We would highly recommend the Inn at Westwynd to anyone who wishes to get away for a peaceful weekend and delicious weekend.

After a very difficult year, my husband and I decided to spend a weekend away and booked our getaway at the Inn at Westwynd Farm. What a delightful, relaxing weekend. Our room was wonderful, private, and so clean. The linen and the terry robes were luxurious. The breakfast was amazing with home grown asparagus in the quiche. She made eggs with asparagus and cheese - no sausage because I am a vegetarian. On Sunday, we had french toast with fresh strawberry stuffing and just a few chocolate chips because we were in Hershey! I fed the horses each morning and loved every second of it. We will definitely go back - hopefully in the Fall. You will love the Westwynd!!

Carolyn hosted us for the weekend with the balance of the Westwynd staff. From the moment you walked through the door, Carolyn was there promptly and you were warmly welcomed by you and the smell of fresh baked goodies to enjoy at any time during the day!! You signed up for breakfast on you schedule, as Carolyn says "it's your vacation and it should be on your time". That was a new one for us. We chose our stay to be in the Carriage house and it was truly a home away from home. It was comfy, decorated tastefully and left nothing to be needed. Every porch and balcony had chairs for you to enjoy the beautiful views. And except for the occasional whinny of a horse or a scampering cat, it was very serene and quiet. There was even a small wedding that took place, a small unplanned power outtage during the day (not to Carolyn's liking for her guests, and still attention was given to any detail we wanted. Really an above and beyond bed and breakfast and one I don't think you could begin to be disappointed with. We usually travel to a different B & B each year on our anniversary. We missed this place the last two years in a row because they are booked nearly a year in advance. We were glad we secured early and are planning our return visit for next year (a first!)!! You won't ge disappointed with the location of Westwynd to a wide array of activities you can enjoy in Hershey. We highly recommend you give The Inn at Westynd Farm a try on your next B & B outing!!

Rooms were very nice and clean. Decorating was simple and nice, but a little too thrown together. Could really use a professional interior designer. Otherwise an absolutely splendid stay. Hershey was minutes away, yet the inn was just outside of the town enough to be quiet. Animals abound outside, and we loved watching them. I'm no cat fan and allergic to some, so was apprehensive when I saw an indoor cat. Could'nt smell or tell it was there though, other than seeing it. Would definitely visit again.

We spent one night in the Inn at Westwynd Farm, and other than the shorter than normal king-size bed, found it to be a wonderful place. Service offered was superb. They went out of their way to accommodtae our every need with free, delicious brownies and cookies, free soft drinks and water, and a sumptious, bountiful breakfast. We felt truly at home, and the setting is perfect. It's proximity to Hershey, PA makes it an ideal spot to stay during a visit to chololate world. Recommend it to anyone.

This was a wonderful place to stay! From being greeted at the door by the smell of fresh baking and a sleepy cat to a spacious, comfortable room, to a wonderful breakfast it was all great. I stayed in Fortune's Return and got up early, snuggled in to my plush Westwynd robe and went out on the deck to watch the sunrise. Carolyn and staff were unfailingly friendly and truly welcoming. We are going back in Sept for a long weekend while my daughter gets married in Hershey and I can't wait. I heartily reccommend this to anyone looking for peace and quiet served up with a great chocolate chip cookie.

The Inn at Westwynd Farm looks fabulous on their website - but it is even more breathtaking in person. I did not feel like a guest, I felt like family. The common areas and bedrooms were filled with beautiful quilts and decorated perfectly. Guests find Hershey's chocolates in every room, and cookies, cake and all kinds of drinks are waiting for you to eat at any time of day. I can't begin to describe the breakfasts - served elegantly with china and real napkins (and adorable napkin rings!) Not your ordinary breakfast either - blueberry scones, ham and egg gratin, orange crescent french toast. I've already booked my next trip!

We recently stayed for "a weekend away from it all", booking our reservation 4 months ago. Little did we know that our reservation would be very timely and much needed following an unexpected death in the immediate family earlier in the week. Although the weather was rainy and dreary, the atmosphere of the Inn was warm and inviting. When it dried out a bit, we enjoyed wandering over the grounds, meeting the animals and soaking up the sounds of nature. It was quiet and restful, even though the inn was at capacity with guests. The home baked goods were the best, and it was a wonderful respite for our grieving spirits! Westwynd's host and hostess certainly work hard to make one's stay pleasant and exceptional.

My wife and I stayed at Westwynd during the middle of the week for our first real vacation in ten years. We could not have been more happy with our stay. The property is beautiful and the innkeepers are very friendly. They manage to strike a balance between service and invisibility better than I could have hoped for. You will not be disappointed.

This has been the 3rd time - soon to be 4th at Westwyd. I love the horses, the dogs, the household cat that visits your room and takes a nap on your bed :) The breakfasts are out of this world and the homemade snacks are just as fabulous. Every single visit is awesome and Carolyn, the owner, is so accomodating and she goes out of her way to make every stay special... I can't imagine going anywhere else in Hershey.

We enjoyed the Inn. The food was excellent, the accomodations were perfect. The hot tub in our room was nice, though we wished it was a tad bit larger. We liked having the fireplace in our room as well as the living room area just outside our bedroom. Probably the best thing about the Inn for my wife and I was its proximity to Hershey. We could drive into Hershey in five minutes! Loved that! All in all, we will recommend the Inn to others, and we'll most likely be back again in coming years.

This was our third stay; we schedule our visits to family in Hershey around when the Inn's Carriage House is available. The four of us (2 parents + 2 children) like the economy, privacy, and convenience of the Carriage House: its own kitchen- that includes refrigerator, range and microwave- makes it easy to reheat any leftovers or take-out for a break from constantly dining out, or keep snack items on hand. My suburban 10 year old was amazed how quiet it is at night, and how many stars she could see. We all enjoy strolling outside and greeting the barn cats. Breakfast is consistently good.

My husband and I had a wonderful, romantic night at Westwynd. It was not far from our home, but it was quiet and perfect. Every one there was so friendly, and we loved our visits from AJ. It truly is a home away from home. We hope to return again soon.

No complaints. Very welcoming. Reasonable cost. Highly recommended.

We've been to the Inn at Westwynd Farm three times, including once on our Wedding night, and twice for anniversary weekends. There are so many wonderful qualities about the Inn, not the least of which is the lovely and luxurious accomodations, the delicious breakfast, the room and places to hang at the house, and the nice countryside landscape. We HIGHLY recommend.

We stayed at the Bed and Breakfast for my birthday, it was a lovely place and the atmosphere was great. My only two complaints was that the bed was really hard, and our breakfast was cold and small for the price paid. This place is also not a good place to stay if you have small children as their are lots of breakable things within their reach.
The comments of our guests are very important to us. We are so sorry you were disappointed in your stay. We have never had anything but favorable comments about our mattresses and we will certainly look into it immediately. We do try to make our breakfasts generous including a selection of juices plus a fruit dish, breads and/or muffins and a main course served with meat and frequently a side such as baked tomatoes or breakfast potatoes… and of course, a choice of coffee, teas and cocoa. Additionally cereal is always available. We are happy to provide additional servings of any dish. Breakfast is served at the time of your choosing and we do try to bring it directly from the oven to your table. It might have cooled while you were eating your birthday cake but again we are more than happy to either reheat or re-cook what ever you would like. I wish I had known you were not pleased so that I could have provided more and warmer food. The inn is designed for the comfort and pleasure of adults. We agree that it may not be suitable for toddlers. Our usual age for accepting children is 5 years old. When your husband mentioned it was your birthday, we did make an exception for your two year old. Older children delight in visiting the barn and helping feed etc. but for little ones the inn does have some pretty but breakable things on display. We recognize the birthday celebrations are very important and we apologize that this one did not meet your expectations.

This was our first ever stay at a bed and breakfast and everything was very good. Everything looked as beautiful as it did on their internet site. The food was wonderfully delicous and the room and accomendations fabulous! There was always snacks and homemade cookies available along with tea, coffee, soft drinks. The only thing negative that I saw was that a few of their decorative plants etc. could have used a dusting-otherwise everything was wonderful - would recommend to anyone. Innkeeper was gracious and accomadating. Will be going back again!

We have stayed at the Inn at Westwynd Farm outside of Hershey,PA numerous times over the past seven years. We have never been disappointed! Frank and Carolyn are the best innkeepers and they certainly take great care of their guests. This time we took our 15 year old grandson along and he was in awe of the place.

We loved the concept of the Inn and were so looking forward to a quiet weekend alone. Unfortunately there was a power outage in our room that took hours to resolve, and left us feeling down because our time was cut short. The owner was understanding and gave us a big discount. If you're looking for peace and tranquility, this is a lovely place.
Thank you for your thoughtful comments We are so very, very sorry it took sometime to resolve the electrical problem. Unfortunately, there are times when things are truly out of our control. We do wish there were someway we could give those hours back and hope that the 50% discount on your stay eased your disappointment in some small way.

This was out 7th trip to Westwynd. The house is amazing. It's quite, peaceful, and there is so much to do in Hershey, even in the off season. I don't recommend it to anyone, because this is our getaway. GET YOUR OWN! :) Joking aside, we love this place.

Our rare mid-week getaway at the Westwynd Farm exceeded all of our expectations. The inn was beautiful, the Trapper room was large, exceptionally clean and romantic. We had a delicious breakfast and Jane made us feel like family. The location is perfect for visiting Hershey, and even in the dead of winter we had plenty of things to do. We are planning to come again in warmer weather!

After receiving a recommendation from friends who've been to this inn 3 times, my husband and I booked a night for our anniversary and were absolutely delighted with every detail of our stay. The setting was gorgeous, the food (including homemade desserts, hot and cold beverages, and other snacks available around the clock) amazing, the staff helpful and friendly, the room pristine, and the entire experience a delight. Expansive grounds and huge inn allow for lots of privacy even if all the rooms are full. We can't wait to return!

If you are looking for a perfect getaway, this is it. We enjoyed our night at The Inn far more than we could have imagine. Waking up to the smell of pumpkin pancakes and coffee, with sights of houses grazing for acres, I could not have asked for more. Frank and Carolyn went above and beyond in terms of hosts. Our time at the Inn is a perfect memory.

We planned a two-night get-away with our young adult kids. My daughter loved hanging out with the horses and my son loved hanging out in the library reading. I loved how we decided the time for our breakfast - which was absolutely wonderful. Our hosts were friendly and welcoming the atmosphere in general was relaxing and refreshing - we didn't want to leave. I highly recommend eating with an Amish family which the Inn will arrange - It was a memorable experience.

The Westwynd greatly exceeded our expectations! 'In Our Time' combined with the "honeymoon dreams" package made our wedding night a night to remember! Very romantic and greatly hospitable!

My wife and I were guests at Westwynd from 12/29/10 through 1/2/11. We are from upstate Pennsylvania and returned to the Hershey are for the holidays to visit with family. We had never stayed at Westwynd previously. I must eat dairy and gluten free. Carol went out of her way to make sure all breakfast foods and snacks were both dairy and gluten free. The whole house was clean and neat and tastefully decorated for the holidays. The dining area is spacious enough to give guests some privacy when eating breakfast without being to formal. My wife and I were amazed to be able to use three different sitting rooms with fireplaces in each one if we so chose. We enjoyed walking around the 30 acre grounds and got to see the horses they board both in the barn and in the field. I would definitely rate this as the best bed and breakfast my wife and I have ever stayed in.

We stayed for a full week on our honeymoon over Christmas. I have seldom seen so many things done so well. From the decoration to breakfast each morning, the quality and attention to detail was excellent. The room greatly exceeded expectations and was a vacation in and of itself. The bed was very comfortable and we slept well the entire week. The Inn itself is located no more than fifteen minutes from Hershey and no more than twenty from several other major shopping centers. This location has everything that could be desired.

Not that we are "experts,' but we stay in two or three different B&B's a year, and this one is the best we've found. Freshly baked brownies and cookies greeted us while our hostess bustled around helping us feel at home. Spacious clean room, great suggestions on dinner places and other things to do in the area, and lots Hershey chocolates in our room! Comfy night's rest, spectacular breakfast!! (my wife "stole" the recipe off the website!) Frank and Carolyn are sweet, friendly, and committed to making their guests feel very much at home.

My husband and I attended this inn with our well behaved and looked after child. The owners were pleasant and friendly especially the husband was very kind. However the women of the household especially corrected my child inappropriately and even myself when we were observing and conversing about the beauty of some of her collections.... The woman was guarded about her objects being touched even when they were not and had little regard for me as an adult. She was the same way with toys left out for children to play with. This is a wonderful place for couples but not families seeking to visit hershey.

Our trip to Hershey this year was flawless. The food was fabulous and the ladies were so kind. The rooms were very comfortable and beautifully decorated. We couldn't have asked for more. We will definately be returning. Thanks!

When it comes to Bed & Breakfasts, this is truly one of the most delightful places I have ever visited. This was our third visit and I am certain there will be many more to come. The hosts could not be nicer and more accommodating. Don't miss this rare gem!

This was the first bed and breakfast my wife and I stayed at. We were not disappointed. The Inn was warm and welcoming from the cold rainy night we arrived. The owners and staff were very kind and courteous to us. The room had a great view of the farm and the horses. The weather was very cold for this time of year so we look forward to going back in the spring. Convienently located 3 miles from HersheyPark and Chocolate World made it so much less stressful. We highly recommend this to anyone looking to unwind, relax and get away from the digital world we live in.

This is our third year back to Westwynd Farm with our friends Jan and JoAnn. We couldn't think of a better place to stay. The innkeeper's inviting and outgoing personalities, beautiful/comfortable rooms, various common areas, delicious breakfasts, all-day homemade treats and snacks, (I could go on and on and on) are what draws us back to Westwynd Farm. This is a special place for anyone who is looking for some relaxation and a romantic getaway. This is a place that we will be going back to for many years. Tony and Donna

Super job will continue to go back every chance we get!

My husband and I tend to stay different places, just to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, and I truly must say this by far is the best place we've ever come across, and so close to home. It's just like visiting grandma's house, so warm, loving and inviting; there's always a hardy welcome, warm smile and a hot cup of coffee tea or whatever suits your fancy. We're already booked for our next stay. Can't wait!!!!

The owners, Frank & Carolyn Troxell, along with their experienced help were always kind and helpful. Carolyn always asked if we wanted more to eat of her wonderful breakfasts, always ready to give us as much as we wanted. You'd never go hungry from staying at their Bed & Breakfast, The Inn at Westwynd Farm!!! She was very helpful with directions to various places of interest. We'll stay there again in the future!! It's centrally located for Hershey, Gettysburg and Lancaster areas and attractions. You can't go wrong staying here!!! John & Maryanne Fritzen

As I told my friends who asked about my weekend, "it is every bit as peaceful, relaxing and lovely as it looks on the website"! Which really says alot because often times, places look amazing in the pictures but aren't as nice in reality. NOT THE CASE with the Westwynd. We stayed in the Bright Flash. The room was beautiful, immaculate and the bed was oh so comfy. I really enjoyed the jacuzzi and fireplace. The grounds are just beautiful and if I could change anything, I wouldn't have planned so many activities for the weekend and spent more time just hanging around the Inn! Although the website was very helpful in planning our outings, we really enjoyed the Poe Evermore performance at the Mount Hope Winery and driving through the Amish country. My one criticism, the coffee could have been stonger. But the breakfast was delicious and, thinking back, I'm absolutely sure if I had asked Jane to make me a pot of stronger coffee she would have happily obliged. Sadly, I didn't get to meet Carolyn and Frank but Jane was so sweet and friendly that it didnt' matter. I'll be back for sure!

My husband and I stayed at the Westwynd Farm Bed & Breakfast for a complimentary stay for veterans day and stayed an additional night on our own dime. From the moment we arrived at the Inn, we were greeted with Frank's pleasant smile and made to feel so welcome and 'at home'. In the lobby was a delightful assortment of baked goodies available at all times. We were showed around the beautiful Farmhouse and to our room. Our room, 'In our Time' far exceeded our expectations. We enjoyed the cozy robes after soaking in the jacuzzi and little touches like a dish of Hershey's chocolate made our trip that much more special. All the rooms have private baths so privacy was never an issue. In the morning we went to the dining room where we were comfortably seated near but not directly next to other guests. Our server was very pleasant and was able to give us information about the area. Breakfast was delicious both days between the Broccoli & ham quiche, the warm spiced fruit, and my personal favorite the bountiful basket of breakfast breads. The Inn is situated on a working horse farm and we enjoyed visiting with the horses and taking in the scenery of the Pennsylvania countryside. The Inn is just a couple of minutes from downtown Hershey making it very convenient but still quiet and relaxing. I would recommend this B&B to anyone and we plan to return and even send our parents as a gift.

Family of three veterans stayed in the Carriage House and Roman Canon rooms on Veteran's Day, 2010. The ammenities were outstanding, the farm is peaceful, and Jane (Frank & Carolyn were out) was the best. If there was another class called "Home and Breakfast" then that's what class Westwynd would be the leaders of. No exaggeration, if you are looking for a great place to stay then try to get reservations here.

This was our third stay at Westwynd Farm and we can't wait to return! If you are looking for serenity, tranquility and a perfect place to relax your cares away...this is it! It is impossible to be disappointed by a stay here! As for the horses....well, they seal the deal!

Beautiful does not adequate to describe The Inn at Westwynd Farm. The grounds were so peaceful and relaxing. We enjoyed sitting in the rocking chairs or next to the pond. Our 3 night stay at Westwynd was a pleasure from beginning to end. We left the farm only to go to dinner for which local restaurant menus and directions wer provided (we never needed lunches due to the wonderful breakfasts provided). If you can believe it, the photos don't entirely do it justice. The innkeepers are lovely & staff is gracious and helpful in every respect. The common rooms give a feeling of "home" rather than a showplace, so there is no and every view from every room and every way you can turn outside is lovely. We spent all our time with the various creatures (We became attached to barn cats, dogs, goats, alpaca and horses even in the short time there.) There is absolutely NOTHING negative to say about this place. You should see for yourself. We ran into a gentleman who had never been to a B&B, and his statement was that he would NEVER go to a hotel again...just from walking in the door. We will be going back.

I booked this for a girls weekend/bachelorette chillout gathering. We couldn't have found a better place. It is close to the Hershey Spa, there are horses within plain view of the house, there are kitties roaming around looking for love and attention and the accommodations are top notch. We stayed in the carriage house and it's big and beautiful, even the pull out couch and chairs are comfortable to sleep on! The owners are fantastic and cater to your every need, whether it's a special diet for breakfast or directions to the nearest grocery store or taste testing what seemed to be the world's biggest apple. Their breakfast is wonderful and the staff is always friendly and smiling. This B&B is not to be missed, go there at least once in your life, it's well worth it!

My husband & I cam to the Farm to celebrate our anniversary. From the moment we checked in till the morning we checked out we were treated like family. From our hosts Frank & Carolyn, the endless homemade cookies & Hershey candy, their cat AJ, the excellent breakfasts that were served in the morning, and the friends that we made around the breakfast table we could not ask for a better place to stay. We enjoyed the cat AJ "sneaking" into our room for a nap on the bed and the flowers Carolyn surprised us with for our anniversary! Westwynd Farm is outstanding, we left pampered and definately relaxed. We are looking forward to another visit and will highly recommend this to friends, relatives and to others! A grand round of applause to Carolyn and Frank and their staff at the Inn at Westwynd Farm. My cousin and I had no idea we were going to encounter one of the best B&B's ever. From the time you enter to the time you leave, you've been given a little piece of home like you remember it! Every little item, carefully placed throughout the house, has a story to tell... My fondest recollection, other than the gorgeous room, comfortable beds, fantastic views, friendly staff (not to mention AJ the home cat), and great price, is that delicious smell of coffee and homemade breakfast coming from the kitchen! Carolyn, Frank and Marylee, made us feel like royal guests! It was a treasure of a stay and we have already booked another one for the fall of the year! Bravo for an outstanding production - these special people know how to make you feel so special! Lainie Belcastro

We certainly feel as if we're staying with family when we go there. The Inn is BEAUTIFUL and so very clean. The breakfasts are of no comparison. We've stayed at other B&B's in various states and there is no where as clean, beautiful, nice and loving as staying at Westwynd! They are best! The location is awesome as well....so close to everything.

My husband loved the downstairs den, he could read the paper and have a drink, he even fell asleep after the 10 hr drive to get there. The breakfast was original and filling. Even our teenage son liked it. We have never stayed at B&B before, but after this wonderful experience, we will be sure to try one again

From the driveway entry you drive down passing the most quaint barn and farm with horses grazing in the field and fork to the right to see the most beautiful porch with gardens finely pruned and weeded. You walk into their home to the welcoming smell of snickerdoodle cookies and brownies baking, then around the corner comes Ms. Carolyn - with a welcoming, kind smile. She offers the tour of her beautifully decorated place and gets you settled into the building somehow making you feel at home with every sitting area and with all the snacks and baked goodies sitting around for guests. (Including the snack bar down stairs with refreshments on the house.) The room was set up for our honeymoon with one of their special packages – so upon entering our room we not only took in the beautiful carved wood head board and beautiful decorations but also the champagne bottle, glasses, roses and rose petals across our bed. (Not to mention our hot tub for two and quilt with our names and wedding date embroidered.) We woke the next morning to find the most delicious breakfast with a finely set table and the sweetest little waitress. The breakfast table was set with our fruit ready for us and our own “personal” pitchers of whatever juice we preferred. Then the main dish – full of flavor, creative yet “simply fancy.” The building is so “home-like” but also offers a “hotel-feel” for more private moments. Our room was personal, quiet, and comfortable. I felt like, at times, we had a question for Carolyn and Frank every time we saw them but they were never put off by this – they both smiled and were SO overwhelmingly kind to us. Both were also knowledgeable of the area and always had advice on what local shops and restaurants were best! We are honestly grateful for our stay with them and how special they made our honeymoon! PS - you MUST eat at PARKSIDE (it' a bikerbar with the BEST open-pit barbque you will ever eat and the kindest bartender/staff)

I had two friends come to visit with me for a week. I found the Inn online and hoped that their stay would be nice. It was beyond our expectations; the owners and operators of the Inn are wonderful and warm people, eager and willing to provide my friends with a great experience. The Inn is beautiful inside and out; the grounds around the Inn are charming, as are the animals on the farm; the food is delicious; and their staff is so gracious and helpful. I've stayed at a few B&Bs ... Westwynd, by far, is the best!!

A warm and welcoming hospitality abounds. Delightful gardens, fountain. Beautiful horses in rolling green pastures. Relaxing and refreshing to the soul.

Found this little piece of heaven nestled in a fabulous location, adjoining Hershey adn very close to Lancaster and Harrisburg. Carolyn and staff go over and beyond providing every amenity. Watch out for all the freshly baked goodies. They're delicious and irresistable!

My husband and I had our first experience with a Bed and Breakfast this past April. The Inn at Westwynd Farm is a step away from Heaven on earth. The hospitality was second to NONE, the food was superb, the setting is rest and relax, the home inviting.......... When I say "beautiful"......... that my friends is an understatement. You're five minutes from Hershey's park, shopping, sites, things to do and magnificant restaurants. On the other end of the spectrum, you're set in your own quiet corner of the world. Their standards are higher than anyplace I have ever stayed. I recommend the Trapper room to couples. To wake up each morning to step out onto your private balcony with the sound of birds singing, horses in the fields, the waterfall outside and the view of the breathtaking sunrise....simply said........"SUPERB" Thank you Carolyn and Frank for a VERY memorable honeymoon.

My wife & I recently visited Westwynd to celebrate our 11th wedding anniversary. This was our first time going to a B&B so we weren't quite sure what to expect. Any concerns we may have had disappeared the moment we walked through the door & were greeted by Carolyn. Our room was beautiful, the property was stunning, and our hosts were exceptional! We were able to walk freely throughout the farm, & enjoyed seeing all of the horses. Another highlight was sitting outside near their beautifully landscaped waterfall which poured into a coy pond. We were only 3 miles outside of Hershey making it very convenient to travel into town for dinner, and then to Hershey Park the next day. Our only regret is that we could only arrange to stay for one night. We hope to plan longer stays in the future & have already begun telling all of our friends about Westwynd!

I cannot believe how wonderful this B&B really was!! The hospitality is truly unrivaled. They have thought of everything. I cannot wait to go back again!

Westwynd farm had everything you could ask for, fridge with all kinds of beverages(beer, wine, juice water) They had snacks availble constantly, fresh baked goods and of course hershey chocolates. Breakfast was great. They have plenty of living areas available for lounging. Outdoor areas were beautifully landscaped and inviting to stroll around. The horse barn was open to visit and everyone in it was friendly. Plenty of horses, cats a couple of dogs a goat and some alpacas. It's located in a pretty rural area only couple of minutes from Hershey. Staff was all very pleasant and helpful.

Close to the chocolate lover's paradise, Hershey, PA is the beautiful and comfy bed and breakfast called Inn at Westwynd Farms. Besides the cozy fireplace and the relaxing jacuzzi each room is filled with bowls of chocolate to temp you. The hosts are more than generous with their snacks and breakfast as well. We loved it there.

We spent the first night of our new life together at the beautiful westwynd farm B&B....everything was perfect. We were greated with warmth and hospitality. The room was beautiful! The never ending cookies, brownies, coffee and tea were outstanding. We went for a walk to the barn and met a wonderful man who let us feed the horses. He introduced us to each horse, and made the night a memory that will last a lifetime. I am so glad we had the chance to spend time at westwynd farm...It was everything they promised and more.

Wonderful B&B with plenty of space for guests to relax outside of their room. There are 3 lounge / den / living rooms for guests to relax in and several outdoor seating areas plus private patios. The room we stayed in was so spacious complete with brand new jacuzzi. The facility was recently renovated. Fresh cookies and cakes served all day and breakfast was great. The Hershey area is fun and relaxing with many more things to do than just visit the park. Loved it and would go back again!!!

My fiance surprised me with this trip after being gone all summer for training. It was absolutely wonderful! It was both of ours first B&B experience and I don't think we could have asked for a better time. Everyone was so helpful, great suggestions for dinner and directions to help us get places. The food was just delicious and everything just seemed so relaxed. It was a nice romantic way to end our summer together. We're even talking about going back for our Honeymoon :-)

I have stayed at Westwynd Farm several times and have always been extremely pleased. Carolyn and Frank are wonderful, the food is excellent, and the rooms are clean and well kept. My husband and I always remark that it's like staying at your own home, only cleaner and better equipped. They also have some really nice pets and horses. Make sure you say hi to the dogs and cat.

My husband surprised me on our wedding night with a night in the Roman Cannon Suite. We were welcomed with freshly baked goodies, and our room was waiting for us. Carolyn the innkeeper was wonderful, and she had breakfast ready for us bright and early so we could catch our flight to the Bahamas. We plan to return on our first anniversary!

5 on June 08, 2009
Perfection in every detail- super clean; honest friendliness; far better than home in freshness, food. Unlimited snacks including beverages (even white hot chocolate) and home baked cookies, cakes, etc. Most good hotels could learn a lot here!

My sister and I stayed at this wonderful B&B during a recent trip to PA. The room, amenities, service and breakfast were all outstanding. We had fun roaming the grounds and the Inn - there are so many great common areas both inside and out. It was a delightful experience and I highly recommend it! sam

We have stayed at many bed and breakfasts, but this remodeled farmhouse has topped the list. The setting is absolutely gorgeous with a view, the outside areas are expertly landscaped, a particularly inviting spot by the waterfall and pond, not to mention the wrap around porch with rockers. The stables and horses were a delight. Our room, the Bright Flash was very comfortable with a large bathroom, fireplace, jacuzzi and a walk in closet! The inside of the inn was filled with antiques, not fussy but lovely. Three large common areas, one with a fridge full of refreshment and (my favorite) Hershey's chocolate everywhere! The Gourmet Breakfast was a real treat, scrumptious and filling and we chose the time. Carolyn and Frank are warm and accomodating. The proximity of the inn to our concert at Hershey Park Stadium can't be beat!!

5 on May 04, 2009
My compliments to the Troxell's for running such a beautiful B&B. Our room was lovely, with a large comfortable bed. The grounds were beautiful, and we even made friends with the cat, AJ, who we found in our room when we first checked in--we have a cat at home, so this was fine with us. Besides the usual amenities you might expect for a top-class B&B, the Inn included home baked goodies and just about all the Hershey's candy you could eat (after all, we were only about three miles from Hershey, PA). The Inn also provided bottled water, soda, beer and wine, for no charge. While the Inn was full our first night, the building is so well constructed we never heard our neighbors at night. The common rooms were also very comfortable to sit in while we read the paper. My wife and I have been to three B&Bs in the last five or so years, and the Inn was easily the best. My wife already has a couple of co-workers who are interested in visiting.

Located on a horse farm in rural Pennsylvania about 5 minutes north of Hershey, the Inn at Westwynd Farm provided us a spacious, clean, charmingly decorated room well equipped with Cable TV, CD Player, free WiFi internet, and of course, Hershey's Chocolate. The bed was large and comfortable. The gas fireplace in the room was an extra nice touch. The house has many available public areas that guests can use and the hosts were friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful stay and plan to visit again.

We stayed for one night in the 'Killarney' room, which was just lovely. Pretty decor in a hunting theme, comfy bed, great views. The Inn itself is beautiful- not old, but very well decorated and themed. We were greeted by Carolyn and shown all around the house. There were 4 different kinds of homemade treats available, plus tea and coffee or beer and wine. We were free to walk around the grounds, which we did. The Inn is surrounded by rolling hills and is perfectly tranquil, and yet only a short drive from Hershey. After a wonderful nights sleep, the breakfast the next day was quite a banquet, all homemade and nothing was too much trouble. I can't recommend this place highly enough and we hope to go back very soon.

We could not have asked for more gracious hosts, wonderful breakfasts and treats in a serence setting. It was a breath of fresh air. If you love the outdoors and horses there is no better place to stay. There are many attractions in the Hershey area to visit/if you are seeking peace and quiet then Westwynd Farm offers that too. I can not say enough-it was by far the most enjoyable stay I have had at an Inn, Motel or B&B. Don't change a thing- I'll be back!!!

My husband and I unfortunately stayed for only one night as we had come for the Pennsylvania Quilt Extravaganza in Harrisburg. Carolyn and Frank (the owners/innkeepers)were welcoming, relaxed, and incredibly helpful with suggestions for dinner, directions and maps to requested locations, and advice about local places of interest. Their home is meticulously maintained and extremely comfortable. We had a door from our room leading directly to the wrap around porch where we were able to sit with a glass of wine and overlook a beautiful garden with cascading waterfall and pond with koi. There were sumptuous homemade nibbles for us to have anytime and the guest fridge was generously stocked with wine, beer, soda, and water. Our breakfast was superb and served when we requested it (we didn't have to be seated when the innkeeper requested but we were asked in the evening what time we'd like to have breakfast served and our request was graciously accomodated) The horses gambolled in the field as we read the morning paper and sipped coffee on the porch. I was almost tempted to skip the quilt show and stay another day at Westwynd! I have stayed in many B&B's and this is definitely one of the nicest. It is very close to Hershey, convenient to the many sites of the Amish countryside, and within 20 minutes of Harrisburg. I will definitely stay there again next year!
5 on September 02, 2007
I was in awe for the entire visit. I truly couldn't believe how fabulous every detail was. We only had one night (because it was booked), so we're heading back 3 months later, just to stay here. We've told everyone about it and hope our friends will get to experience this amazing treat! Thank you!

This is a wonderful place for a getaway from the daily grind without giving up the comforts of home! The room was wonderful with a private deck and more than enough space. Carolyn has made every effort to make sure her guests are comfortable. Some nice touches include a guest fridge stocked with complimentary beverages, several common rooms with movies and popcorn, plently of complimentary munchies, chocolates in every room, wonderful food including cookies and scones available any time your heart desires. Really a wonderful place in a truly peaceful setting, but close to attrations and food. Try Sacha's Hideaway for a romantic dinner.

The rooms were so clean and well appointed with amentities. There were plenty of snacks (homemade cookies, cakes, candy, popcorn, etc.) and beverages (beer, wine, soda, etc.) available for the guests to enjoy. The rocking chairs and porch swing were nice to sit on and take in the view. Breakfast was delicious, the perfect way to end my short stay!

My wife and I just got back from a stay at this wonderful B&B. We can't stress how wonderful the accommodations and our hosts were. Friendly people, excellent food and the rooms very clean and every bit as good as the photos make them out to be, if not better! We are already planning a return trip, it's a true home away from home. Thanks again Frank and Carolyn for welcoming us into your beautiful home.

We have stayed here twice for mini-college reunions and have recommended it to several friends. The rooms are beautiful, breakfast outstanding and the innkeepers Carolyn and Frank wonderful. Having the common area downstairs was perfect for us and we were able to stay up late and talk w/o bothering anyone else. I can't wait to go back again. This is my most favorite B&B.

Sit by any window and see horses grazing, rolling hills and the Hotel Hershey in the far distance. This is definitely an inn that can "take you away". The innkeeper, Carolyn, is eager to make your stay special. She accommodated our "low refined carb" diet in style. She is always available to give great hints on things to do and spots for dining. The inn offers great amenities~freshly baked snacks, drinks, microwave popcorn and granola bars arounbd the clock. The inn has large rooms and all with bathtubs that are meticulously clean. The 3 sitting areas had blazing fires-very cozy! The farm animals were worth a walk to the barn. The alpacas are so sweet. I would highly recommend this inn as one of my very favorites for friendliness, comfort, peacefulness, and great breakfasts! A great value in a wonderful location!

This was the first B & B that I had ever visited and it made quite an impression on me. It was so relaxing and comfortable. I highly recommend staying here.
