Wonderful spot!

4.8 on April 11, 2018

The 1777 House was a great spot to stay. Our hosts were friendly and so helpful. We got to check out the brewery on site and were so glad we did. Breakfast was so delicious. We fully recommend this B and B!

St Patrick’s getaway

5 on April 11, 2018

An absolutely wonderful 2 nights away. Extremely clean-brewery and food had a great selection We stayed here about 4-5 years back with the past owners but the new inn keepers have really raised the bar!! We look forward to going back this summer!!

Weekend away

4.2 on March 25, 2018

The inn keepers were very nice & helpful. The cottage was quiet & perfect for a weekend away for just the two of us. The brewery on premises was great! Food was surprisingly delish. The first floor of the cottage was FREEZING , even with the fireplace going non stop (it was only 13 degrees) but we still had a great time and would definitely stay here again .

Innkeeper Response
I am glad you enjoyed your getaway, I wish you would have let us know that the cottage was cold, we would have certainly helped you adjust the mini-split heating unit on the first floor, it is quite efficient. Thanks.

2nd time staying here.

5 on February 19, 2018

My wife and I decided to come back to the 1777 Americana Inn because we love staying in the Tranquility Cottage. You are only 25 minutes from Lancaster City and the great shops and brewery’s it has to offer. However, you don’t have to travel all the way to Lancaster City for a great Brewery. Not only is the 1777 a fantastic B&B, it is also a wonderful brewery! Bob and Denise are the perfect hosts and they truly treat you like family! My wife and I will definitely be staying here again. Perfect weekend getaway location!

5 on February 05, 2018

We had a lovely relaxing time at the 1777 Americana Inn. The Tranquility Cottage was fabulous! So charming and cozy! We loved being able to walk to the brewery for drinks and a bite to eat. Breakfast at the inn was wonderful. We wanted to escape and relax for a few days - this was exactly the place to do it. Denise and Bob were great hosts and have created the perfect spot for adults to relax and enjoy themselves.

Lazy Getaway Weekend

4.4 on January 22, 2018

It was our wedding anniversary getaway weekend in lovely Ephrata. We stayed in the little Travelers Nook room at the rear of the inn. The ambience of the inn was quiet. restful, and distraction-free. The amenities were perfect: a cozy, historical home with character and taste. The breakfasts by Denise were wonderful, nourishing, and the flickering fireplace in the breakfast room was a delightful place to dine, talk with some of the other guests. The added feature of the onsite craft brewery made it a complete getaway, with Bob as the host in the background. Wonderful!

Innkeeper Response
Thank you so much for the kind review. I am glad you had a chance to relax and unwind. We hope to see you again soon.

Fantastic Stay

We stayed in the Patriot cottage and it was quaint, cozy and unique. All accommodations were the best. Breakfast was excellent and the hospitality of owners Denise and Bob Harter was top notch. Would stay here again!

Best Bed & Breakfast Getaway!!

5 on January 02, 2018

This was our very first visit to Ephrata, PA. We were searching for a great place to stay. Our search brought us to this quaint inn. We stayed in the Patriot House and we were not disappointed. The accommodations couldn't have been any better. The breakfasts were outstanding in this old historic inn. It is within walking distance of the lovely town of Ephrata, which seems directly from a Norman Rockwell depiction. We will definitely return to this lovely bed and breakfast and we highly recommend this inn!!

First vacation in 26 years

4.8 on January 02, 2018

Being our first vacation in 26 years, we were recommended to the 1777 Americana Inn by a close friend. WE were not disappointed in the least. The room had the old time charm with up to date conveniences. We stayed in A Primitive Place which had a four poster bed, huge armoire, sofa, small fridge and a huge jucuzzi tub. The breakfasts were wonderful and the hosts of the Inn, Denise and Bob were so wonderful and welcoming. This is a place we will definitely come back to again.

Innkeeper Response
Thank you so much for the wonderful review. We are delighted that you enjoyed your stay, please do not wait another 26 years to pamper yourself! See you soon.
