Lovely Inn

5 on August 26, 2018

My husband and I had the pleasure of being a guest at The 1777 Americana Inn, which I might say is very quite lovely. Our room The Travelers Nook was cozy, comfortable and clean. The furnishings were wonderful and made us feel like we had stepped back in time. Breakfast was delicious and the Inn Keeper Denise was just delightful and knowledgeable of the area. The Black Forest Brewery is onsite which serves pub food. We will defiantly stay there again!! It was an extremely enjoyable experience. The Inn looks exactly like the pictures on its website.

Innkeeper Response

Enjoyed the charm and history of the 1777 home. The furnishing and decor was warm and inviting. The Inn keepers were friendly and very laid back. My only criticism is the comfort of the bed's mattress was not to my husband's or my expectation and could be improved.

Innkeeper Response
Thank you for your feedback. We certainly will double check that mattress, although we just had guests who told us it was the best sleep they ever had. I am happy you enjoyed your stay.

We loved our stay. The idea of having a Bed and Breakfast next to a brewery is wonderful. We enjoyed meeting people in the brewery and relaxing in our room. Our thanks for the wonderful service.

We stayed one night at this lovely bnb. Had a beer at the brewery and a filling breakfast in the morning. Close to the Cloister. A welcoming stay after a very long and windy way from Equinunk PA. I would stay again. Thank you.

Charming B & B

My husband and I had a wonderful stay here! Denise and Bob were excellent hosts, very nice and friendly.. Denise is a wonderful chef and our breakfast was outstanding each day. A good location in Lancaster County and the brewery attached is a great addition. We stayed in the Traveler’s Nook. It was clean and charming. Loved the game room downstairs and the entire Inn was definitely quaint and cozy! We would definitely recommend!

Eight college friends stayed at the inn for a girl’s weekend - many of us seeing each other for the first time in 45+ years. The Tranquility Cottage was a perfect place to gather each evening to remiinisce - warm, cozy, beautifully decorated. The breakfasts were delish - the innkeepers very friendly and accommodating. Thanks! Linda Wharton - one of the LHSC reunion group

Innkeeper Response

Great Choice

We wanted to find a place that was historic and comfortable - close to Lancaster. This place was lovely and the hosts were exceptionally helpful and lovely. Breakfast was great and had a little "Amish" flavour to it. There was a great little brewery on site as well. I would recommend this place wholeheartedly.

Innkeeper Response
Thank you so much for your kind review. I am glad you enjoyed your stay and hope you will be back to visit us again!
