We loved everything from the secluded room attached to the house, country setting, delicious breakfast and delightful hosts (including, or perhaps, especially, Rehab the sweetheart Labrador Retriever, who is the official greeter). I especially loved listening to the sounds of the country while outside, so soothing! We will definitely be back! Thank you very much.

We wanted a nice spot to stay while bringing our daughter to Dickinson College. Couldn't have made a better choice. Incredibly hospitable hosts! Wonderful breakfasts, great room, everything about our experience was stress-free. The Stauffers are peerless, in my experience. We look forward to staying again.
Wow, Thanks for an incredible review! We truly enjoy meeting and taking care of our guests so we are happy you felt we took care of you all! We hope to have you as our guests again when you come to visit your daughter at Dickinson. Thanks again!

We stayed at the Pheasant Field B&B about 3 weeks when we were driving from Rhode Island to South Carolina. We only stayed one night, but wish it had been longer since it was a wonderful experience. Kit and Robin are perfect hosts. They are helpful, but unobrusive. We got a great dinner recommendation, walked the beautiful grounds, and had an absolutely superb breakfast. We will definitely route ourselves through Carlisle again. It is one of the best Bed and Breakfasts we've stayed in, and we have stayed in many.
We're so happy you found us on your travels to South Carolina and we look forward to your return visit! We love sharing our grounds with guests and thank you for the compliments on our gardens and breakfast! Safe travels and come back soon!

We loved our little visit to Pheasant Field B&B. Robyn and Kitty were so kind, and Kitty's breakfasts are delicious. We, our 2 year old son, and 18 year old daughter all stayed together in the cottage while in town for a wedding. Our son loved visiting with Kitty and Robyn every morning, playing with Rehab (the very sweet pup) and tussling the friendly porch cat. Multiple times a day we'd walk to the pond and watch the ducks, visit the rooster and chickens - a definite highlight for our son! We felt welcomed and at home.

The Pheasant Field B&B was a wonderful place to stay after a day of hectic travel. It was a great place to unwind with many options to enjoy the beautiful setting such as the front porch or patio overlooking the paddocks. The excellent breakfast was a perfect way to start a new day! We would certainly return when in the area.
