About

A Painted Lady Inn is Portlands newest addition in affordable Bed and Breakfast accomodation. A welcoming double parlour entry with fireplace and the dining room have been beautifully appointed for our guests enjoyment and each room of the house features at least one original work of art. The feel is cozy, yet opulent with a eclectic mix of patterns, textures, and amazing detail. Large guest rooms have new queen size beds, air condioning and comfortable sitting areas. The longer you stay the more you'll appreciate the three years of work that went into the total restoration of this Irvington gem.

Overnight stay in Portland

4.4 on April 18, 2017

Very pleasant experience. The rooms are really clean. You can tell that the owner, Jody, carefully styled the whole house. It is in a charming neighbourhood with great restaurants and easy access to downtown by buses. I will definitely stay at the Painted Lady Inn when visiting Portland again in the summer.

The Perfect Accommodation

A Painted Lady BnB is located in inner NE Portland, just 2.5 blocks off of NE Broadway: ideal for accessing services, close to the freeway--but far enough off the main path so as to be a quiet, walkable neighborhood. The house and rooms are decorated in vintage furniture and are very charming. Jody was very accommodating and served a perfectly portioned breakfast each morning. Thanks for the hospitality. Would stay here again!

Cozy, comfortable rooms with great pillows. I like the location--walkable to shopping and fine restaurants.

Loved the charming Painted Lady Inn

We were very comfortable at thevPainted Lady Inn. The owner, Jody, was helpful and nice. We loved the Master room, which is very large. We also stayed in the suite, and slept very well. It was quiet and roomy. The suite is two loft style rooms with double beds. Breakfast was delicious!

A comfortable and inviting atmosphere

While my stay at the inn was brief (I arrived around 8 pm and left before 8 am the next morning), it was very nice. The bedroom and bathroom were very clean. The atmosphere was inviting. The owner made sure I was comfortable and settled in. I would recommend it to anyone who is visiting downtown Portland.

Charming Inn

Jody greeted us cheerfully and got us settled in time for a nice afternoon nap. We were going to Portland to see a show at Moda Center and wanted to stay somewhere within walking distance. It was about a mile away and we found a great place for dinner on our way. On our return, it was perfectly quiet, great bed. Breakfast was one of the best, substantial buttermilk pancakes, expertly scrambled eggs and really good coffee.

Like coming home

Jody is so welcoming and accommodating. The rooms are quaint and comfortable with cozy beds and the charm of old Victorian homes in the area... Walking distance to eateries and shopping... A must!!!!

Excellent Hospitality

A Painted Lady is outstanding in cleanliness. Our breakfast was high quality and plentiful. The location is excellent!

Nice place

4.0 on November 15, 2016

It is an old home with lots of antiques. The room was adequate and fairly comfortable for a single night stay. The food was eggs with gouda and I think a little cheddar and some toast with some fresh fruit and juice. Coffee and tea were provided. Our room had a 1/2 bath, but a full bath is close by. It wasn't full the night we stayed so I am unsure if the full bath gets busy or not. It was pleasant and quaint. I am not picky about my beds, but I slept well.

Good Stay

3.0 on November 04, 2016

We had a good stay at A Painted Lady Inn last Thursday, October 27th through Sunday, October 30th. The location was nice, and Jody was a welcoming host. We got to enjoy some of Portland's nicer weather, and it was nice to come back to the Master Suite after 2 long days out. Breakfast was good, but there was no meat (bacon, sausage), just eggs and fruit. I would have liked to have a larger breakfast, as that was part of the reason we decided to stay at a bed and breakfast. Overall though, the place was nice, and we would return.
