A Painted Lady Inn is Portlands newest addition in affordable Bed and Breakfast accomodation. A welcoming double parlour entry with fireplace and the dining room have been beautifully appointed for our guests enjoyment and each room of the house features at least one original work of art. The feel is cozy, yet opulent with a eclectic mix of patterns, textures, and amazing detail. Large guest rooms have new queen size beds, air condioning and comfortable sitting areas. The longer you stay the more you'll appreciate the three years of work that went into the total restoration of this Irvington gem.

She is charming, quaint, and elegant. Every detail is considered. I especially adore the hand made lamps and quilts. A very fun neighborhood, right by Aztec Willies for great food and salsa dancing, where I met my true love!

I did not use the breakfast service because I was eating with family every day but my room was very comfortable, the house is beautifully restored and I enjoyed my stay. I rated the dining score only because this site would not let me leave my rating without entering a score...that should be changed by the site not "A Painted Lady Inn's" issue

The location of this home made it perfect for experiencing a local Portland neighborhood and only an $8 Uber ride from downtown. We did not view the main home as we wished for a private bathroom and were offered the converted garage which also has a small kitchenette. It was comfortable and our host brought breakfast to us and good coffee.

I was disappointed in the accommodation. The rooms are too cluttered with objects, my room was very dark despite the numerous separate lamps in the room. Furniture is very old fashioned and outdated - mostly in need of maintenance.
I'm very sorry you were not pleased with your accommodations. The house is Victorian and furnished with antique furniture and Victorian Lampshades. All the rooms have overhead lighting, bedside, headboard, and floor lamps in seating areas. I have just installed new carpeting in the three upstairs bedrooms and the downstairs bedroom has new oak hardwood floors and a beautiful hand woven Tabriz rug. All the rooms have original works of art on the walls and each room has a hand painted tray to set your personal items on and coasters on the bedside tables for glasses, but other than that, I'm not sure what you mean by clutter? Perhaps you should choose a contemporary accommodation for your next stay instead of leaving a negative review because you didn't enjoy the Victorian furnishings.

Jody was very helpful. We stayed in the cottage instead of the house. This would be great for a family.

Lovely B&B in a very good location. Public Transportation easily available around Portland. Jody is a charming and helpful hostess.. I would recommend A Painted Lady without reservation.

The Painted Lady has been our go to place to stay in Portland for several years. The Cottage is very clean, spacious and comfortable.. Jody is friendly and has always been able to accommodate our needs. We do not think we could find a more perfect place to stay! Brian & Kathy Smith-White

This is a hidden gem in Portland Oregon. Is very beautiful the employee was extremely nice. Very accommodating. It was like staying the night in the museum stepping back in time to the Victorian era. Even though there was another guest somewhere in the house we never even knew it very peaceful quiet and romantic. Would recommend to anyone 100%

Very pleasant experience. The rooms are really clean. You can tell that the owner, Jody, carefully styled the whole house. It is in a charming neighbourhood with great restaurants and easy access to downtown by buses. I will definitely stay at the Painted Lady Inn when visiting Portland again in the summer.
