My partner and I stayed at Thyme & Tide for an early "babymoon." We had a great experience. Mary and James's home was a perfect place for us while exploring coastal Oregon. After breakfast we would explore the area--hiking at Cape Lookout and Cape Meares, wandering around Tillamook, or taking walks on the nearby beaches--then we would retreat to Thyme & Tide for a nap in the afternoon before heading out again. We had several maps, menus, and guidebooks at our fingertips, along with flashlights and even a kite if we'd wanted. Mary fed us so well in the mornings that we barely had room for lunch or dinner, though we did our best to enjoy local cuisine in Tillamook, Oceanside, and Netarts! We were also given snacks when we arrived and during the day. I ate one of Mary's pumpkin muffins on the plane ride home instead of regular airplane food, which was lovely and made me very much miss Thyme & Tide. Beyond the location and the B&B itself, Mary's breakfasts were wonderful. I've never had such diverse food at a B&B! Mary and James are divine hosts.

Mary is one of the best hosts we've ever had, and we stay exclusively in B&Bs when we travel. She is so warm and accommodating. The room and all of its amenities were just perfect. My favorite features were the private balcony with the beautiful view of the ocean, the extremely comfortable bed, and the massive tub. Mary also provided homemade bath bombs, which were such a lovely touch. I cannot rave enough about her hospitality and cooking skills! She provided baked goods every day in addition to a very big and delicious breakfast, and she keeps the private freezer stocked with local ice creams! I can't say enough good things about our stay here.

Thyme and Tide is an elegant and friendly small B & B just a short drive west of Tillamook, OR. Mary, the owner/operator, is a friendly and informative hostess who serves a substantial breakfast with fruit, muffins, oatmeal, quiche and back on. Our bedroom and bath were modern, luxurious, and tastefully decorated. The guest level had a separate small fridge and snack center with coffee, Ice cream, and cookies available. We highly recommend, and plan to return.

My wife and I stayed at the Thyme and Tide for our 10th anniversary, and we've decided we want to come back every anniversary going forward if we can! Our room was wonderful. Cozy, warm, bright, and peaceful. The bed was very comfortable and the soaky tub was large and relaxing. The room is smaller than some that we've stayed in when travelling as a family, but it was perfect for just the two of us. Mary made us feel instantly welcome, and took care of everything we could possibly need. There was always some kind of hot and yummy baked treat, as well as a mini fridge and freezer stocked full of Tillamook ice cream. The nearby beach was just a short drive away, and Mary provided us with beach blankets and other gear to make it even more enjoyable. The breakfast we were served each day FAR exceeded our expectations! It was absolutely delicious, and far more than we could finish. Mary was so kind and always checked with us about our dietary needs or restrictions before adding something to the meal. ("Is it OK if I add crab to the quiche?" "Um, YES!") All in all, it was a fantastic stay, and we can't wait to go back!!

We loved the ambiance, the clean room and breakfast area. As so many places, though, the down comforter was wonderful for about ten minutes but then was way, way too hot! Mary gave us a nice wool blanket which was much better. Don't be afraid to ask! She has a lot of interesting do-dads all over, and the breakfasts were very special and unique (and lots of food!). Depending on your interests and plans this could be a perfect fit or a bit of a remote location.

Our stay at Thyme and Tide was delightful as Mary made us feel right at home. The room was lovely with a great view and it was fun meeting Jesse James her wheaten terrier. The breakfast was delicious and we would definitely recommend this B&B to anyone visiting the Oceanside area.

Quiet, relaxing, tea and freshly baked cookies in the hallway. The breakfast was seriously amazing and she's such a friendly host who knows the area well. We had a lovely stay, thank you again for your hospitality!
