Charming, nice landlord

5 on August 22, 2017

we had a nice and quiet room, nice view from the balkony, room and bathroom are very clean. There was a heating in the room, we had a fridge with icecream outside the room, a coffeemaker, mikrowave and tee. The breakfast was very, very good, we never had something like that!!!! Great!!!!

Innkeeper Response

Fabulous B&B

5 on August 21, 2017

From the minute my husband and I entered Thyme and Tide, we were completely charmed. Our beautifully appointed and exceptionally clean room had a view of the ocean. It was very close to Cape Meares and Cape Lookout. Mary is a wonderful hostess and exceptional breakfast chef! Our only regret is that we could only stay one night! Our trip was at the end of July.

Innkeeper Response
Thanks so much for your stay and taking time to review. I hope you will be back.

Thyme and Tide, a true delight. Mary not only had the most amazing breakfast, her special touch to all our needs was truly amazing! The location along with our room, perfect. Our room had a balcony to enjoy the scenery and the cool mornings and evenings. A must stay! Ron & Kat from Texas

The BEST B&B on the coast!

5 on June 06, 2017

We SO enjoyed our stay at the Thyme & Tide! It definitely exceeded my expectations! The pictures online were a very true representation of the rooms - a lot of photos you find online are not. This B&B was in a quite neighborhood, you could see the ocean from our room. Mary was VERY helpful, she pointed us in multiple directions for dinner and sight seeing. We wouldn't have found the places she mentioned online. Homemade cookies were waiting for us when we returned from our adventures, breakfast was wonderful! I think it was a two course breakfast, plus fresh fruit and coffee. Mary is very accomadating. We were only in the area for one day and she allowed us to rent both rooms (we traveled with another couple) even though online it said there was a two night minimum in June. There wasn't tv, but there was wifi. It was kind of nice to detach from the world and pay attention only to each other. I wish we could have stayed here every night of our vacation!

Innkeeper Response
Dear K and the three B's: Thanks for your sweet review. I love having two couples traveling together stay here. It's fun to hear a bit about your history and see such good friends interact. Best wishes. Mary

I'd move in if I could!

5 on June 02, 2017

Mary is amazing and Oceanside is gorgeous! Our stay was wonderful. Mary is an insanely good cook and prepared us the best breakfasts we've ever had. Everything about our stay was incredible - from the homemade cookies every afternoon to the heated floors and huge tub in the bathroom. Beautiful view, too, and only minutes from the beach!

This is an ideal B&B!

Wonderful babymoon in Oceanside

5 on April 06, 2017

My partner and I stayed at Thyme & Tide for an early "babymoon." We had a great experience. Mary and James's home was a perfect place for us while exploring coastal Oregon. After breakfast we would explore the area--hiking at Cape Lookout and Cape Meares, wandering around Tillamook, or taking walks on the nearby beaches--then we would retreat to Thyme & Tide for a nap in the afternoon before heading out again. We had several maps, menus, and guidebooks at our fingertips, along with flashlights and even a kite if we'd wanted. Mary fed us so well in the mornings that we barely had room for lunch or dinner, though we did our best to enjoy local cuisine in Tillamook, Oceanside, and Netarts! We were also given snacks when we arrived and during the day. I ate one of Mary's pumpkin muffins on the plane ride home instead of regular airplane food, which was lovely and made me very much miss Thyme & Tide. Beyond the location and the B&B itself, Mary's breakfasts were wonderful. I've never had such diverse food at a B&B! Mary and James are divine hosts.

Innkeeper Response
Thank you for your lovely review. Hope you will come back with your new baby soon. You looked so beautiful and comfortable. Enjoy this special time. Happy BnB. Mary
