We choose to take our long weekend get-away in Lincoln City by doing a google search for coastal towns in Oregon. We never stayed at a B&B so we choose one at random. Choosing The Brey House was the BEST decision we made. First and foremost Shirley Brey is the most amazing and welcoming person I’ve met. She literally greeted us with open arms. The first thing she showed us was the view from the dining area. We arrived just after the sun dipped below the horizon, the sight of the multi colored sky and the ocean would bring tears to an artist eyes. Shirley shows us our sojourn, or home away from home. We stayed in the Captain's Suite. The pictures on the web site don’t do Justice. Warm, relaxing atmosphere, roomy, comfortable and homey. While we were checking in, Shirley told us about a great place to eat that was close by and minimal wait time for that time of night. After a good, filling dinner at The Mist, and relaxing time in the hot tub, we slept like puppies. Breakfast was the ULT every morning. I loved sitting around the breakfast table with the other guest. We met some great people, found common interests, and visited the entire meal and then some. We got some great suggestion on where to visit and what to see. We will defiantly be visiting Shirly at The House of Brey again.

We stayed in January 2017 and were well taken care of by Shirley, the owner. Breakfast was amazing and all sorts of little details were noticable (like shampoos and soaps, popcorn, in room coffee). Everything was very clean & orderly, albeit dated. We will be back!

My friend and I had a very pleasant stay. Shirley was wonderful and made us feel like home right away. We had the Captain room which has very nice ocean view. The room has separate entry, got everything we need and is very charming. The bed is super comfortable. It's also thoughtful to include things like a electric socket board for charging the gadgets people have these days. The B&B is close to the beach and I had a nice walk in the morning. Shirley's breakfast was so delicious that we ate so much and skipped lunch completely. This was exactly what I was hoping to experience from a B&B and I highly recommend it.

We just came back home from our third stay at the Brey House. We truly feel this is our home away from home and are spoiled during our stay. The accommodations are fantastic. Every thing is so clean, the details are carefully thought out, the access to the beach so very close, comfortable beds and a breakfast to keep you going for the entire day! Thank you Shirley, we'll see you again soon! Richard & Patricia

My wife and I have stayed twice now and this has definitely became our all time favorite vacation. Shirley cooks amazing breakfasts and always makes you feel at home. The location could not be better being just across the street from the beach. The rooms are well decorated and feel cozy. My favorite part is the kitchenette for the downstairs rooms so you can cook dinner at night instead of going out. A+ all the way!

So awesome! Shirley (the owner) ensured we were cozy and settled for our time at Brey House 2/14-2/16/2015. The house is super cute and the rooms are very cozy. We stayed in the Cascade Room for the weekend. Shirley gave us tips on where we might be able to get in for dinner at the last minute on Valentine's Day weekend. Easy beach access is across the street and a few houses over. So close! Restaurants and the Chinook Winds Casino are within walking distance if you need more entertainment than simply enjoying the amazing ocean and this beautiful beach. Thanks for making us feel at home and taken care of Shirley. We're telling everyone about our stay (not to mention you're amazing breakfasts) and we're already booked to come back in April! Make room Shirley...Melinda and I are moving in (and bringing friends!). Thank you! ~Spring Hillsboro OR

We have stayed here a couple of times and already have reservations again for this year. Shirley is a wonderful, bright hostess, full of sunshine and laughter, even on the cloudiest of days. We love the Sun Room is our favorite place. A tasty breakfast and a quick walk to the beach is a good way to go. Highly recommended!

If there was ever a Bed & Breakfast that was worth staying at that was simply based upon the owner, well this should be the one. Shirley (Bless her soul) is the most personable, awesome, nice, considerate, quirky, and an awesome chef as well!!!! Don't get me wrong, the accommodations are excellent as well, you are one block from the beach and each room has a view! Take my word, you can't go wrong here!!!!

Our stay at Brey House in July 2013 was fantastic! We were greeted by Shirley and shown around her beautiful home! The view of the ocean was exceptional! The Admiral's Room was very comfortable and Shirley went out of her way to make us feel welcomed! THEE best breakfasts were had at Brey House! I can't wait to come back for another stay! Oh! And the ocean truly is just a stone's throw way!
