Edward Adams House is a perfectly restored six room Queen Anne Victorian home designed and built in 1890 by Swedish master craftsman and millwright, Magnus Ek. Our House is a Silverton Heritage Landmark. Guests may choose from three different rooms. Each of our queen-bedded guest rooms is furnished with turn of the century antiques and private bathrooms. Upstairs is an extensive library with an inviting love seat to sink into. The parlor is home to a 1920 Steinway grand piano, a Kimball pump organ, vintage settees and a real wood-burning fireplace. We are a short walk to downtown Silverton yet removed enough to ensure a restful retreat and memorable getaway.

My grandson and I stayed here on our way to Grant's Pass after a long train ride from Milwaukee to Portland. It was perfect in EVERY way, and Nancy is an amazing host, and person! Thank you for adding to our very special memories of our trip! I hope to get there again someday! Cheryl Monroe

This BnB is a gem. The house is a historic novelty that has been decorated and furnished in just the right way. It's a in beautiful, quiet town with lots to see and do. Our host was lots of fun to talk to and really inviting, treating us with a tour of the property, delicious breakfasts, and lots of tasty snacks. We enjoyed our time here and hope to go back.

This beautifully restored and maintained house is a step back in time. Inn owner Nancy is an impeccable hostess, excellent chef and baker, and highly knowledgeable about Silverton's history and surrounds. The house features a Steinway piano and hosts many musical events (Nancy is a professional classical musician), original art glass windows and inlaid flooring, a music/library, a charming garden and gazebo, and much more. Nancy's chocolate chip macaroons were some of the best cookies I've ever had, btw. The excellence of this property and the food were unexpected, but much appreciated and enjoyed. Silverton is the gateway to rapturously scenic hiking in Silver Falls State Park and countryside drives through the region's famed Christmas tree farms. Edward Adams House is the perfect place to stay while enjoying Silverton and its offerings, and we hope to come back soon!

Being "Foodies," we loved the homemade granola with almonds and cashews, the poppyseed bread, the citrus marmalade made by our hostess's sister, the mango smoothie, and especially the Basil Egg Puff. Everything about our two breakfasts was beautifully presented. Deep French-roast coffee arrived hot and on-time, and our observant hostess even provided a larger cream pitcher the second morning. We appreciated the authentic, inviting decor without the "fluff 'n stuff" that can make a man uncomfortable. Because Edward Adams House B&B is one we will recommend (and have already), we offer these suggestions: update the wireless router with one upstairs as well as downstairs; increase the lighting in the Sara Jane room. None of our electronic devices (phones/iPads - 2 ea.) would hold connection upstairs. Husband believes the "mass" of this historical building (lath and plaster, solid wood, etc.) prevents a good signal upstairs. The dark beauty of Sara Jane's room is restful, but a brighter ceiling light would be appreciated for dressing and packing. Edward Adams House is a wonderful place to stay whether passing through the area or visiting.

I've stayed at a few B&Bs over the years and the Edward Adams House is by far the best. Nancy has created an elegant yet comfortable inn furnished with beautiful antiques, comfortable beds, and other amenities to ensure your stay is wonderful. She's the consummate host and her breakfast is to die for. We especially appreciated Nancy's warm welcome upon our arrival and the fresh hot coffee left quietly by our door in the morning. The Edward Adams House is a true gem located within walking distance of historic downtown Silverton, and a short drive from The Oregon Garden, Silver Falls State Park, and other nearby Oregon treasures. I highly recommend staying here!

We stayed two nights in the Edward Adams House. The rooms are beautiful and true to the Victorian period. Our host, Nancy, is inviting and warm and also a worldly person. We recommend this B&B heartedly.

We recently spent the night at the Adams House as a "mini vacation". What a wonderful place - beautiful furnishings, and very clean! Everything was perfect. The owner was very conscientious and accommodating - really went above and beyond anything we've experienced before. Highly recommended.

We stayed at this place for our anniversary last weekend. It was absolutely wonderful. Nancy is a charming hostess who has marvelous breakfasts, wonderful snacks, and even a wonderful chocolate cherry port to share. Our room had a turret ed bathroom with a Jacuzzi tub to relax in after our days of exploring Silverton and nearby Silver Falls. Nancy had a wealth of information about the town, and was fascinating to talk with. We heartily recommend the Edward Adams House.
