Stunning views of Mt. Hood from nearly every place in the Lodge (psst, the BEST in the whole valley!) is just PART of what sets us apart. Our real log cabin craftsman lodge complete with big roaring fire - surrounds you with the quirky Sasquatch and homestyle decor that is a perfect partner to your days skiing, hiking, biking or discovering the wine country all around us. Peace abounds on our 64 pristine, private acres (and just minutes away from Mt. Hood and Hood River) - where you start your day with a hearty country organic breakfast made with love by the owner, Nilsa & her Bigfoot Team that will inspire you. With five major ski resorts within 15-35 minutes (winter season & glacier summer skiing) there's plenty of outdoor activities and attractions. Need a Ski Package, but confused which one - let Nilsa book it for you with discounts! We are on the famous Hood River 'Fruit Loop' full of some of Oregon's best vineyards, wineries, breweries and farms of every flavor. Forage here for blueberries, apples, lavender, flowers, nuts galore. In any season, it's worth exploring. Inspired to be on horseback? Moments away! Want to hike or bike? We've got world class trails on 'Surveyors Ridge' accessed right from our own backyard. You will remember your time at Bigfoot for years to come as a delightful one. Those are just a few reasons to come. The rest, you can discover when you arrive!

Just a great big thank you to Mike and Bigfoot lodge for the special day and evening that took place for my daughters wedding. The wedding party stayed at the lodge, took pictures before the wedding and came back and stayed the night after the wedding was over. Absolutely beautiful views! The rooms were awesome with Mt hood out every room! Nothing better then relaxing and sipping wine under the stars after the long beautiful day! Then to wake up to a great breakfast was so so good! Thanks so much again for all your help in making it such a special weekend we will never forget.

Our Stay at the Big Foot Lodge was a Fabulous Get-Away from our kids and our hectic lives. The Master Bedroom was Amazing! Not to mention the View, which was definitely Photo Worthy. But the unexpected part was the Friendliness and Helpfulness of our Hostess, Susan! Her Knowledge of the area and her Special Touches made our stay unforgettable!

Everything about this place made for a magical experience. The lodge has incredible charm, with each room offering its own uniqueness and character. The view of Mount Hood right out the window is postcard-worthy. The hospitality was so far above and beyond anything I expected, it's clear that Nilsa truly enjoys hosting travelers and visitors. Don't miss her truly fantastic breakfast before embarking on your explorations of the area.
