Stayed here for just a couple of nights - all they had available at the last minute - and was charmed by the room, the common areas and the hosts. The location was perfect and we will stay there again on our frequent visits to Toronto.

I stayed 7 nights at Baldwin Village Inn. I travel quite a lot and I have stayed in plenty of B&Bs before, but this one was unique. The rooms are very clean and nice and the bathrooms are amazingly functional - and I'm a guy who usually doesn't really care or pay attention to these things. Breakfast is copious and delicious. Tess and Roger are outstanding hosts and they clearly love what they are doing. It's possible to feel at home from the first day until the last. Highly recommended!

My husband and I just spent a weekend in Toronto. We wanted to stay in a B&B downtown. The Baldwin in was within walking distance to everything! Roger and Tess were incredibly friendly and made us feel very welcome. Surrounding the inn are several restaurants as well. We will be back to Toronto and back to the Baldwin Inn.

We stayed in the Baldwin Village Inn 2 times, all in all 3 nights and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, all of us, as well the kids (10&12) as we ourselves. Conveniently located in a street full of restaurants, within walking distance of mayor nice neighbourhoods as well as CN tower & university. Roger & Tess are very warm hosts, who make sure that everybody feels at home (and gets to know each other over breakfast). They are very flexible and offer great services such as free internet, use of their video library (loads of kids movies as well). The rooms differ in size, some have more amenities than others. But all in all: excellent price quality relationship, most certainly for a metropole like Toronto

Stayed for 8-10 days during September and October, along with two other family members. We all felt "at home" immediately, and nothing seemed too much trouble for our hosts, Roger and Tess. Breakfasts at the "farmhouse - type" communal table always got the days off to a great start. The Inn was good value for money, very clean, and had a really friendly atmosphere. Plenty of eating places nearby. Very quiet area. Would go back anytime.

We were in Toronto for day surgery at Princess Margaret Hospital and Baldwin Village Inn is extremely accessible to the major hospitals in the area; an easy 5 minute walk away. The added bonus was the warm concern and kind support we received from Roger and Tess. It was a somewhat stressful situation for us and the comfort of being in a "home" rather than a large hotel was beyond compare. We also took advantage of one of the outdoor cafes and absolutely loved the ambiance of the B & B and the Village in the middle of the city. I would suggest that if you're considering staying in Toronto this B & B experience is not to be missed.

Had a lovely stay. Very quiet for a place located in the downtown area. Roger and Tess are great and the other guests were friendly.

This B&B is perfect for the traveller who wants to get a flavour of urban TO. The owners make everyone feel at home and welcome. Breakfast is set-up with communal table that encourages friendly and easy-going chat among the guests. Highly recommendable!

After spending a week on business in the convention center district, I was looking for a place to spend a few days and discover the "real" Toronto. I found the perfect place on Baldwin Street and the Baldwin Village Inn. The location couldn't have been a better base for exploring Toronto. As a result, I threw out my plans to visit the touristy spots and spent 3 days just enjoying the neighborhoods of Toronto. In addition, my room was comfortable and private, the cost was reasonable, and Roger and Tess made me feel right at home. As a single traveler, I appreciated being able to connect with other guests at breakfast before starting my day. The neighborhood was safe and the inn was surrounded by excellent restaurants of every ethnicity. I'll definitely go back to the Baldwin Village Inn.

I stayed at the Baldwin and had a great time, it was so relaxed and friendly, a real home from home. Roger and Tess couldn't do enough to make you feel welcome. The area is great too, a village in the city. I would love to stay here again. Jason Chopadero UK

I'm picky when it comes to accommodations. It's always a little risky. But I hit the jackpot when booking this place. The outside is welcoming. The interior is a mix of French country and modern without being too corny or extreme. Tess and Roger could not have been nicer without being intrusive.Breakfast was a nice mix. The Canadian cheese and fresh baguette was as good as we had in Paris. The neighborhood is also very cozy with an eclectic mix of restaurants right out the front door. Our room, Suite 6, was stylish and also very quiet . We are recommending this place to all our family and friends and would stay there again in a minute.

I recently stayed at the Baldwin Village Inn and the InnKeeper(s) Roger and Tess made me felt so comfortable. It is truly a home away from home and the other guess were also warm and friendly. We had conversations around the breakfast table as well as passing each other in the hallways. If you would like to relax in a comfortable, warm and friendly atmosphere, check out the Baldwin Village Inn. Dining at one of the many Outdoor Patio Restuarants are also a treat. Novelete.
