The room have been recently renovated and they are simply beautiful & cozy. The host was really nice to accommodate my dietary restrictions and really made me feel welcomed. Breakfast is amazing AND healthy. The place is walking distance to downtown and very quiet if you need to get some rest.

We had a wonderful time staying at John's Gate. Our hostess made every effort to see that she understood our interests and that our needs were met. Her breakfasts were as tasty as they were stylish, enjoyed in relaxed atmosphere with pleasant company. We heartily recommend John's Gate.

Meheroo is a wonderful caring hostess who provides beautifully appointed and spotlessly clean rooms. Meheroo provides a plethora of information of what to do and see in Niagara on the lake. The breakfasts are fantastic (3 courses on one day!) and last well into the afternoon.

John's Gate was fabulous. Meheroo exceeded all expectations particularly in the breakfasts she provided. The bedroom and linens were fabulous. Her hospitality beyond expectations including sending us on our way with home grown tomatoes. Thanks Meheroo for a lovely stay.

We visited John's Gate on December 5th and 6th, 2015 with some friends of ours that raved about this bed and breakfast. We were not disappointed. The place was immaculate, the host was kind and fun to be with and the food was delicious. It was a great getaway at a very reasonable price. The location was perfect. I would highly recommend this quaint, well-kept and beautiful bed and breakfast to everyone!

My friend and I travel often and love finding a place to lay our head just like home and we definitely found it here!! Meheroo, our hostess was very personable, friendly and accommodating especially with her gourmet breakfast and my allergies. This was our second stay at John's Gate. We brought friends with us this time. The location is convenient to the wineries and town. Meheroo is warm and welcoming and a fantastic cook! We now consider her a friend and look forward to visiting again. I would definitely recommend this B&B and suggest you call the hostess directly to book a room for the very best service!

This was our first overnight stay in Niagara on the Lake, which was actually for the weekend. We chose John's Gate after reading the reviews on the internet. It was all that we could have possibly expected and more. We stayed in the KIng room which was absolutely spotless. Meheroo, the hostess was as gracious and attentive as can be from the time of our arrival to the moment of our departure, offering help with whatever she could to make our trip and stay more enjoyable. Her breakfasts were certainly of gourmet quality. This is definately going to be the B&B of choice on our next trip to this beautiful town. Thanks to Meheroo. Scott from Cleveland

A great location, just off the beaten path made it an oasis. Lovely, quiet, comfy rooms, and a magnificent three-course breakfast reflected Mary's warm and thoughtful service. A true hostess.

We have stayed in a few B&B's and this one certainly did NOT disappoint us. Meheroo was a gracious host and did all she could to make our stay enjoyable and comfortable. The breakfasts were so plentiful we did not have to eat lunches. She had everything you could want and more to enjoy your stay. She provided us with wine tasting coupons for the area and tips for where to eat at night. The whole stay was very enjoyable. We met some great people while we were there also. We look forward to a return visit and stay. Stephen and Shelley
