When my husband told me we were taking a trip to Ohio to go to the Football Hall of Fame, I was less than excited, but when we arrived at Fair Oaks Lodge I could not have een happier. The place was beautiful, secluded and homey - I could not ask for more. We arrrived late and Mary met us with a smile on her face, that same smile was there the next morning when she walked in with homemade waffles and fresh picked berries. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the food was delicious and teh service was exceptional. I wish that we were able to stay longer.

My husband and I stayed here on Thursday and Friday night. We especially enjoyed it because we had the whole place to ourselves Thursday night and all day Friday. The innkeeper was very nice and built a fire for us in the evening. The Lodge is at the top of a hill, so if you go for a hike, you get a nice view of the countryside; we even saw some deer. The breakfast was homemade stuffed French toast. We thought this was a nice place.

Stayed on a snowy Sunday night and spent hours with my wife infront of a roaring fireplace. We shared wine, music, and read a little. We settled in our room from a great night of rest. A much needed stress break from daily activities.

My husband and I just spent a wonderful night here at Fair Oaks--so relaxing and pampering! We will definitely go back; great restaurant recommendations, local treasures to visit! And a great value! Thanks Innkeeper Mary--you pampered us!
