Exquisite experience

5 on April 23, 2018

We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves at the Angel Welcome Bed and Breakfast. Bernie and Judy were superb hosts. Their warm hospitality really enhanced our stay. Accommodations were spotless and comfortable. Judy's breakfast and Bernie's "craft espresso" were marvelous. We were with 2 other couples and we all had a blast. We had dinner plans at The Culinary Institute. Bernie and Judy graciously answered our questions and provided insight into the food scene that only a true foodie would know! We were treated like family and plan to return again. Thank you!

Among the best!

Historic and exquisite home and furnishings. Hosts are friendly and interesting. Breakfast was superb - delicious and beautifully presented. We have been to many B & B's and Angel Welcome is among the best. Thomas Edison Birthplace is a few blocks away - a great visit; small house but tour was large on information and anecdotes about Edison's life, family and accomplishments. Our visit to Milan, Ohio was excellent.

Our boss treated us to a Christmas lunch at the Angel Welcome, it was outstanding! The home was decorated so beautifully, the food was outstanding and the friendly service of the owners made it such a nice day for the girls. I would recommend this to anyone! Thank you again Judy and Bernie the girls are still raving about the prime rib today. Marcia

Home away from home

Our stay at Angel Welcome would have been better if only we could have stayed longer. After staying at B & Bs throughout the U.S., we found Angel Welcome to be favorite and hope stay there again and again. Judy and Bernie were outstanding hosts and made us feel right at home. Breakfast was the best part of our day where we could enjoy great food and good conversation. Thanks Judy & Bernie! Keep up the good work and hope to see you all again soon!

A dream come true!

A very beautiful charming BNB. The house and gardens are beautiful. Bernie was a pleasant host while Judy was away. He cooked us some fabulous and delicious breakfasts. The rooms were real nice and loved the comfortable king size bed. I would highly recommend you stay here. And we will again while visiting relatives in Ohio.

A lovely place to stay

Judy and Bernie were very warm and welcoming. You feel the joy they have in serving people. Our room was not attached to the bathroom. At first that made me nervous-as it turns out it was not a problem. The breakfast was delicious. Would definitely stay there again

Recent Stay - Angel Welcome - September 27 Thru September 30

5 on October 04, 2017

My wife and I had the pleasure to stay at Angel Welcome BNB from September 27 thru September 30. We very much enjoyed the time we actually spent at Angel Welcome with Judy and Bernie Pleunik. Both were extremely personable and actually made us feel like we were almost members of the family, that was really nice. The breakfasts that Judy served up were absolutely scrumptious (wish we had our own Judy at home to make breakfast for us of the caliber Judy delivered). Did have the opportunity to speak with Bernie, very nice, warm, and personable. The room was very nice and the best compliment that we could pay is "we felt right at home". I would highly recommend that anyone that had the opportunity to stay at Angel Welcome, you will not be disappointed and should have pleasant memories of your experience. Should the opportunity arise where we would be staying in Milan, Ohio again, Angel Welcome would be the first place we would contact, we have nothing but good things to say about this BNB. Hopefully we will be able to return for another stay.

Would recommend but baths are not in the rooms

4.6 on October 04, 2017

The service and rooms were delightful, entire place is well-appointed and well maintained. Only downside is the baths are private only in the fact that each room has it's own separate bath to use, but the baths are not inside the rooms, you must venture into the hall down to your respective bathroom. Not a big deal but the website indicating private baths is a bit misleading. Clean and quiet, comfortable, would recommend. Breakfast was delicious, and owners are very pleasant.
