We stayed at the Old Red cabin. It was crafted really well. Just not the right cabin for us. The bedroom is in the loft, so you have to climb a ladder to get there. Not good for late night bathroom runs. The cabin was clean over all but the dishes were filthy and we had to scrape food off and wash them before use. Outside was clean and well taken care of. Using the hot tub while watching the sun set was great. The pond was nice and had large fish to feed. We met the owner, very nice guy and accommodating. He asked if there was anything we needed and went on his way. Now for the things we did not like: There is a silo with a blower on top of the hill and it was running 24/7. It kind of disturbed the quietness of our stay. Fishing costs extra. You would think that the price you pay to stay there, you would be able to fish for free. Having to climb a ladder to go to bed is a no-go for us (that's our fault for not paying attention to the description of the cabin). Wasps. There are wasps everywhere. It was hard to sit out and enjoy the day when wasps are buzzing around your head. Be aware of the list of items you have to bring, and be aware of all the extra costs (you have top pay to use towels and washcloths). Over all we had a great time. We will come back, we'll just rent a different cabin.

The cabin was beautiful. Very peaceful. We drove to the Amish country for the day it was about an hour away. We will definitely be going back.

Had a great stay with my family at Diamond Lake. I stayed in tall pines. The cabin was very clean, minus the dirty dishes left in the kitchen by the previous person. There was 10 of us, 5 adults and 5 children. I would say it was rather tight, but we made it work. We walked the trails, made s'mores, and just played games and enjoyed one another. Whenever I called for something, I received immeditae response and direction. There is no onsite dining, but there are books with restaurants in the area that you can order from. Not much is close, therefore if you plan to bring food, stop and shop before arrival. I will definitely go back again
