Located on the Ashtabula County Covered Bridge Tour, Bear Creek Farm Bed and Breakfast is a unique upscale non-smoking destination for you to relax in the peaceful setting of the woods. Country Elegance in God's Creation is our motto. Enjoy the quiet of the country, stars overhead, wildlife and our 3/4 acre pond and wrap around porch with rockers and lounge chair. We have three freshly decorated guest rooms that have queen or king beds with DVD players, Wi-Fi, private baths, iron and ironing boards and a sitting room with a fireplace. Hike in the area or on our trails(subject to hunting seasons). You can take a walk from here to a scenic waterfall where Bear Creek falls and turns to head for Conneaut Creek, famous for steel head fishing, and State Road Covered Bridge. Enjoy some of the area's wineries and events related to Lake Erie and Conneaut Beach. We are near Ashtabula, Conneaut, Harpersfield, Geneva-on-the-Lake, Kingsville. We do not allow any smokers to stay in our bed and breakfast since we suffer from severe allergies to smoke and smoke on your clothing and luggage can make us sick. Please do not reserve if you are a smoker. Call us directly at 440-813-1635 if you would like to pay with a check or cash. Also call us for add-ons such as flowers, chocolate covered strawberries, or a custom made anniversary or birthday cake.

We - two adults and three children - stayed in the Bear Creek Farm Bed and Breakfast during the summer and not only was it a beautiful setting but we were made to feel welcome throughout our stay. Judy and Jerry cooked a great breakfast each morning and made us feel welcome, offering extra portions to three hungry children and sitting with us to have a relaxing talk over coffee before we headed out for the day. We were allowed to wander about the farm and Jerry and Judy always had recommendations for places to go and restaurants. Bear Creek Farm was a wonderful and memorable place to stay.

We found Bear Creek to be our getaway place. The house is set back into the woods, with a long entry drive leading to a pond and a beautiful colonial house with a wraparound porch. The house is immaculately clean. The dining area has snacks set out with Kuerig coffee maker. The last time we went was a favorite of mine.chocolate-covered strawberries. Jerry and Judy were attentive to our needs, giving us brochures and directions to sights to see in the area. The breakfast was individualized and delicious. We hope to go back again soon. It is a break from our busy lifestyle and responsibilities. We did our own Covered Bridge tour because we missed the festival in October. We've found our "getaway place".

My husband and I stayed at Bear Creek Farm for my nephew's wedding weekend. We were very pleased with our room with the beautiful quilts and charming bedding. Breakfast with Judy and Jerry was so comfortable and relaxing we didn't want to leave. The food was delicious and the conversation wonderful. Judy suggested a great restaurant for dinner one night and mapped out a covered bridge tour. It was an incredible time to remember. We certainly will return again!

The setting was secluded and forested. The room was large and comfortably and beautifully furnished. We usually have trouble sleeping the first night, but the bed was so comfortable, we slept well. We were pleased that we could control the temperature in the room. The DVD player was available. Walking trails were available, which we will try on another visit. We loved the friendly atmosphere and the delicious breakfast!

My husband and I celebrated our 26th wedding anniversary by staying at the Bear Creek Farm Bed and Breakfast (Dec 1st). After a pretty little drive and a deer crossing our vehicle's path we pulled up to the fresh and strong appearance of the main house with sparkly, warm candles cheerily lighting each window. The chill of winter coming made me immediately desire to come back in the spring and summer to enjoy the welcoming porch with it's lonely rocking chairs! Upon entering the house, the beautiful woodwork and exquisite decor were only outdone by our host's kind and friendly hospitality. We stayed in the Captain's Room and immediately enjoyed a tasty welcome treat of berries and chocolate mints, then settled in for some quiet moments in front of the toasty little fireplace! We really enjoyed soaking up all the details of the well thought out and created decorating masterwork and the time we spent was very enjoyable in all ways. Breakfast in the morning was scrumptious with its cornicopia of dishes and flavors all masterfully presented, along with friendly conversation by our hosts. We look forward to going again in another season to enjoy more of Bear Creek Farm's Bed and Breakfast's wonders! Great time, great place, great food, great hosts--you don't want to miss this wonderful getaway!

From the turn off the road onto the driveway we knew it was going to be interesting. The driveway is long & winding, following the topography & going back a solid ¼ - ½ mile. The décor was tastefully done. As soon as you crossed the threshold you felt peace. We stayed in the Captain’s Room, having a slight nautical theme to it. The furniture was beautiful wood, along with a simulated fireplace for ambiance. We would have LOVED to walk the grounds, but the rain didn’t cooperate.. There were a few attractions close by, so we decided to take a drive to a local winery for the afternoon. After a wonderful dinner in Ashtabula Harbor are, we rented a movie, and settled in for the night. Come morning, we proceeded downstairs, following our noses to the smells of a wonderful breakfast awaiting us. The breakfast was absolutely wonderful! It consisted of a frittata, yogurt parfait with fresh blackberries & homemade granola, sausage patties, fresh scones, apple cake, & a wonderful orange smoothie. There was a Keurig machine on the counter with an assortment of coffees and teas. We actually invited Judy & Jerry to join us and chat while we ate breakfast,& ended up chatting for awhile finding out that the 7 degrees of separation theory actually cut down to roughly 2 degrees. What a small world, our families and friends were connected without knowing prior to this. This was a WONDERFUL weekend that we spent here. We had all we needed. We were afforded our privacy if so desired, and yet they were close enough that if needed, there were no problems getting in touch with them. They are a wonderful couple that have decided to venture into this to share their home, their property, and if needed, their faith. Jerry’s blessing before our breakfast was nice. We are TRULY thankful AND blessed to have shared our time together at Bear Creek Farm B&B and have no problem recommending it to ANYONE needing a peaceful place to spend time away.
