Guests of Echoes of the Glen are thrilled with its location and homey atmosphere. Awaken to the aroma of coffee & Barb's homemade muffins, scones or kuchen. Then sit down to a delicious, homemade breakfast of freshly ground coffee, teas, hot cocoa, freshly baked pastries, juice, fruit and a hot entrée each morning. If you are a racing buff, you can walk to the International Motor Racing Research Center where you will find the largest collection of racing films in the world. Just a short drive up the hill you can visit WGI race track, where you can watch driving schools run their laps around the track in their high performance sports cars or purchase a ticket to drive your own car around the track behind the pace car. More waterfalls, award winning wineries, the Curtiss Museum, Corning Glass Museum, Rockwell or Mark Twain Museums are a short drive away. Your room will be touched up daily during your stay (unless you say for us not to).

Perfect Weekend Getawy

5 on October 02, 2017

Went to Watkins Glen for a weekend getaway with friends. We decided to try a B&B for the first time. Echoes of the Glen was a wonderful place to stay. It is within walking distance to the gorge. Barbara ad Tom are amazing hosts. They are full of knowledge of the sites and even gave us a few tips on additional things to see in the area. The breakfasts exceeded our expectations. My husband and I stayed in the Concord room. The sheets were so soft and room itself was perfectly cozy and more roomy than expected. Thank you Barbara and Tom see you again!

You'll feel at home right away.

Barbara and Tom are perfect hosts. They go out of their way to make their guests feel at home. Coffee is always ready in the morning. Breakfasts are great with plenty of variety.if you have special dietary restrictions they make every effort to accommodate. Rooms are clean and nicely decorated. I have stayed twice and am booked for two more visits. I'm not interested in anywhere else.

Perfect for all travelers

Echoes of the Glen has an incredibly warm atmosphere with beyond welcoming hosts. The breakfasts were delicious! Their three resident cats make any homesick person feel right at home. Barb and Tom were accommodating and gave great recommendations.

You couldn't find a cleaner more welcoming place to stay. The room was very spacious. The common area was lovely. There is a lovely patio behind the house with plenty of seating. Very quiet and relaxing. The owners are very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was fantastic.

Barbara and Tom were fantastic hosts and the cats were adorable - great setting and a great location across the road from hiking and waterfalls. The freshly baked cookies every night didn't hurt either :)

Terrific B&B

Echoes is an immaculate welcoming B&B with an outstanding location in Watkins Glen. I found the inn very quiet despite being on Franklin. The owners are delightful and go out of their way to provide good service. Also, the breakfast is about as good as it gets; stuffed french toast, hand picked blueberry pancakes, local cheese used in omelets etc. Free wifi and lots of nice guests to chat with. Perfect for me as a single traveler at the race track or for a couples getaway.

Great location for the Glen

Walking distance to the Glen, easy to get to restaurants in town. Owners well take care of you. Our car battery died on the day we were to leave, jumped to car and pointed us towards a close place that would replace the battery. Well worth the stay.

Great location, Clean Rooms, Fabulous Food! Perfect weekend

A friend and I wanted to go to the Finger lake region for Watkins Glen and wine. We decided on this B&B because the room's looked nice and the location looked awesome as it was only 1 block from Watkins Glen State Park. Barb & Tom were so hospitable, welcoming, and helpful; we couldn't have hoped for a better place to stay. Breakfast was delicious both days- omelet and stuffed French toast. I also loved that some food components were grown right at the B&B and got to try Rhubarb crisp- also delicious! The rooms and the entire B&B was very clean and well kept. Our room was clean, the sheets were super soft, the bed comfortable. The fan in the room amazed us with how quiet it was and the bathroom was spotless. The entire place had a very tasteful and charming décor. Barb and Tom were so knowledgeable and helpful with dinner recommendations and sightseeing. Perfect birthday weekend for my friend. We hope to return to the Echoes of the Glen sooner rather than later! Will recommend to all our friends! :)

Lovely B&B..

About the innkeepers

Barbara and Tom both grew up in the area. After spending 34 years away from the area raising their family and working in different parts of the country, they came back to their roots in 2005 to open Echoes of the Glen Bed & Breakfast, which reflects the history of American sports car racing, FL award winning wines and the infamous Watkins Glen Gorge. Their own collection of racing posters and photographs make the stairway and upstairs hallway a gallery dedicated to the racing history of the Glen
