The Stony Creek in was an amazing place to stay at. It was close to the Warwick Winery, and downtown Warwick. We had such a great time and Bill and Joe were such gracious hosts. The room was beautiful, comfortable, clean, and provided all of the necessary needs. Breakfast was absolutely delicious, especially the eggs which were gathered that morning from their chickens out back. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing, comfortable, and fun weekend. I will definitely will be going back!

My husband and I recently spent the weekend here and upon pulling into the driveway, I knew it wouldn’t be our last time. The grounds are beautiful, well kept, and well shoveled (due to a crazy snowstorm we had a few days prior). The room was cozy, clean, and stocked with snacks and non alcoholic drinks. Bill and Joe are amazing hosts who make you feel right at home. There is coffee and tea available anytime and breakfast was just superb. I was even more impressed to find out that the eggs come from the chickens that were right out back! Talk about farm to table! All in all, we had a great experience and will definitely be returning.

We spent last week-end at the Inn at Stony Creek and couldn't have enjoyed it more. The house is beautiful, Bill and Joe are helpful and friendly. They have the best reccomendations for dinner! Breakfast both mornings was delicious. We will absolutely plan to return.

This was our fourth stay at the Inn at Stony Creek. Breakfast was delicious. The Americana Suite was comfortable and roomy. And Joe and Bill are always the perfect hosts. The grounds are beautiful, although the weather prevented us from spending too much time on the trails or by the pond. And Warwick, Florida and Chester offer so much in terms of antiques, craft beer, wineries, shopping and great restaurants. The Inn at Stony Creek has become our home away from home. We will be back many more times.

Where do we begin..... Great accommodations, Superb breakfast and OUTSTANDING Owners. Stayed here in March of 2018 for what began as a 2 night stay, we loved it so much we decided to stay on another night. The house was absolutely beautiful and inpeccably decorated by Bill and Joe. The house itself was warm and inviting and steeped in history in every nook and cranny. The breakfasts provided a choice and were all excellent, especially the egg's Benedict!! One day we were somewhat snowed in and Bill and Joe made ever accommodation to ensure we were comfortable and well fed. We left this Bed and Breakfast feeling as though we had made lifelong friends. We will be sure to go back very soon for another visit. We recommend The Inn at Stony Creek very highly. David and Sandy

We have stayed at the Inn at Stony Creek for years. The Inn is magnificent and decorated with period pieces throughout. Our room was warm and cozy with our own fireplace. The queen size bed was more comfortable than our own at home. One of my favorite was the big 2 person jacuzzi tub and a separate walk in shower. Owners Bill and Joe have not missed a beat with the Inn. Thank you for having us and we look forward to our spring stay. Lou and Jack

Very nice, comfortable, well appointed bed and breakfast. The owners seemed to think of everything to make your stay seamless. Wish we would have had more time to enjoy our stay and explore the surrounding area, as well. Oh, well, we’ll just have to come back!

We had a great time. The house is beautiful. The owners are wonderful. They made some recommendations on where to go and we took advantage. Our next stay will be in the warmer weather so we can take advantage of the quite front porch. We will be back for sur.

The Inn at Stony Creek was off the charts great. Bill and Joe have done an amazing job restoring the Inn to it's original glory. Bill gave us a tour and each room is nicer than the next. Our room had an electric fireplace, Jacuzzi and a private outdoor seating area. Bill and Joe were the most gracious hosts. I felt like we were staying with family. A++

My wife and I recently stayed for one night. The B and B is conveniently located to Bear Mtn, Brotherhood Winery, and many other local winery and breweries as well as the Woodbury Commons outlets. The room and inn were impeccable and exceeded our expectations. The decor is inviting as well as the grounds.. Bill treated us as family and had a delicious FRESH breakfast for us the next morning. We will certainly be back in the future for another visit.

Unfortunately Me and my wife never got to stay the night.. . .Long story short. After only a few hours we received an emergency call from my teenage Daughter and had to go home. Bill and Joe were very understanding and concerned. They took care of us without blinking an eye. This place is close to the town of Warwick and everyone in town raves about it. Especially the awesome breakfast ! We are of course planning to go back. Maybe with my Daughter this time, lol. Jeff & Lisa

We stayed in a ground floor room with private entrance and little back patio, very comfortable bed and amazing jacuzzi for two was very romantic. We had a view of the back pond with ducks and fountain and a sprawling lawn. Bill and Joe were extremely accommodating and friendly. Joe's breakfast definitely exceeded expectaions. Wonderful breakfasts, accented with fresh tomatoes from the garden. And Bill and Joe are always wonderful hosts, chefs and friends. Discovered the Audubon trail alongside the property this time - a nice walk in the woods, We will be back for visit #4 and visit #5 and...

Spent a Sunday nite there 2 weeks ago and it was very relaxing. Our room was lovely, comfy bed, little candies in the room and all kinds of goodies in the bathroom. Bill and Joe could not have been more gracious . The surrounding grounds were beautiful with a lake, ducks and lots of comfortable chairs around the area. Not to mention Warwick was a wonderful town to explore.

The Inn at Stony Creek is a meticulously kept bed and breakfast in beautiful Warwick, NY. The only thing better than the inn itself, are the innkeepers! Both Bill and Joe are warm, welcoming, and kind. They are what make the place outstanding! Side note: website would not allow me to choose 5 stars in each category so they received 4, but deserve 5!!

Bill and Joe are such wonderful hosts. The photos do not do the inn or the rooms justice. The rooms are well appointed and clean with so many details thought of to make you comfortable. We loved wondering around the property and saying hi to the ducks, chickens and geese. There are so many beautiful spots on the property to relax and wind down. Breakfast was delicious!

I thoroughly enjoyed my one night stay. The only thing I will say is that the bathroom for the Fox and Hound room is VERY small. I could barely fit in the shower (female 5'4") and had to open the bathroom door to get dressed. Other than that a very pleasant stay. The surroundings are beautiful and I would recommend to anyone looking for a nice relaxing vacation.

I arranged a weekend get away as a birthday gift to my wife and I hit the ball out of the park when I chose the Inn at Stony Creek for our stay. Bill and Joe are among the nicest and warmest of hosts. The Inn is clean and full of character and charm. We met three other couples at the Inn and had a very nice time talking with them and making new friends. We spent the days touring some local wineries and shopping in Warwick NY. The rooms are great and the breakfast that Joe prepared was amazing. Everything they do on behalf of their guests is with love and a genuine desire to make your stay comfortable and memorable. We have bragged about our stay to friends and family and I encourage anyone who is looking for a special weekend trip to visit Bill and Joe. Thank you both.

We had a wonderful weekend experience staying in this well-appointed, charming Inn with beautiful surroundings. Bill and Joe were so accommodating and made sure all our needs were met. The breakfasts were excellent and the rooms were comfortable and cozy. Our lower level room had no closets which is my only complaint. Otherwise I would highly recommend Inn at Stony Creek.

Our first time at Stony Creek was in 2015. The inn was is so comfortable, quite, clean, and serene, we went back again this year. Bill & Joe are so amazing and attentive we couldn't resist going back. We live an hour away but it feels like we are on a country prairie at the inn. They make an amazing breakfast from fresh ingredients every morning. We will go back to visit many, many, many more times.

What a beautiful place! I was greeted by one of the owners (not sure if it was Bill or Joe) upon my arrival and he was so friendly and accommodating. He even asked if I had any dietary restrictions for breakfast the next morning (unfortunately, I slept through breakfast which is only offered until 9:30 am) I stayed in the Appalachian Room which was amazing! The room had beautiful decor and the room was modern. I also was able to enjoy the in room Jacuzzi. The property was just delightful. Our room looked out towards the back of the house towards the pond. It was so relaxing. I'm so looking forward to staying there again! Many thanks to the innkeepers for making my stay a relaxing one!

My husband were in the area as we had a gift certificate for Glenmere Mansion that we wanted to use. This B&B was located just perfectly to enjoy the best of the area. Our innkeepers Bill and Joe were great cooks with 5 star breakfast menus, really genuinely nice people, not intrusive but very available and helpful. The grounds were immaculate as was the room, nice pond, chickens for fresh eggs, walking trail around the property, across the street in the fields of an equestrian club and amazing trail walk 10 minutes away on a raised wood walkway over Pochunk Creek that is part of the Appalachian Trail. Wineries minutes away as well as scenic Warwick and Chester. We highly recommend this B&B.

Selected this B&B for an overnight from internet search. Truly couldn't have expected that a chance selection would have actually been the perfect one. Hosts were friendly, attentive and eager to please. They take great pride in their establishment and this echoes in the fine details throughout the property. Room was spacious, clean and had every amenity you would need--refrigerator, wine glasses and corkscrew, microwave, extra pillows, bath accessories, etc. Breakfast was wonderful. Would highly recommend to those who's taste are on the classier side and expect the most bang for their buck. We'll be back!

The innkeepers, Bill and Joe, are incredible... gracious, fun, accommodating, warm, and so welcoming! Their breakfast was delicious and plentiful, the room was clean and lovely, and everything about the place was gorgeous! We stayed in the Appalachian room, which had an electric fireplace and a very large tub for two. Room Tip: The Appalachian room has a private entrance for super convenient access to your car and is away from other rooms (extra privacy).

We recently stayed at the Inn at Stony Creek. We loved the inn itself, it was decorated so warmly and welcoming. The breakfast was outstanding. Bill and Joe are very nice and we felt very welcome. The only downfall is the bed. It was not very comfortable and we did not sleep that well. We will definitely be back and try a different room in hopes the bed will be more comfortable.

My wife gave ourselves a Christmas present - 2 nights at the Inn at Stony Creek. And we definitely didn't regret it. The building and grounds were beautiful and well maintained. Bill and Joe were attentive and more than pleasant. The Fox and Hound Room was a sight for sore, tired eyes. The only two - minor - negatives were that the bathroom was very cramped and the hot water was a little iffy. But everything else about our experience was A+. And our breakfasts were just the perfect start to explore Warwick, Chester and Sugar Loaf for two days. Could not think of a better way to spend the first two days of 2016 and recharge our batteries for the year to come! - Michael and Stefanie

My first B&B stay experience, and it was over the top! A meet and great from one of the owners better than any family member can give. His tour and explanation of his home heart felt. The room more beautiful than advertised, a home decor with that transported you to colonial times, with the country side view to match. This paired with plenty of quite, and watching the deer walk the property made for an amazing city getaway!! If breakfast is your thing, here you will find the world's greatest pancakes. If pricing was more competitive I would have spent more time there. If you need time away this B&B is were you want to be!!

The Inn and the Innkeepers are exceptional. This was our second stay here, and it was every bit as great an experience as the one we had five years ago. Bill and Joe are friendly, helpful, and go out of their way to assure a pleasant stay in the Inn. Bill recommended a scenic overlook to see on our way back from West Point. It was incredible! I never saw it mentioned in my research on what to see in the area, so thank you Bill for that advice. Joe was so sweet about accommodating my many food allergies. I hate to put innkeepers out and usually just eat what I can eat. But when I mentioned them to Joe, presto - he had a wonderful breakfast for me. We recommended the Inn to friends who loved their stay there last year, and this visit we brought two other family members who also loved it. Recommending a business to family and friends tells just how good it is.

My girlfriend and I stayed at The Inn at Stony Creek in the middle of February. It was the one place that made all the white stuff look absolutely amazing! And that was before we stepped inside!!! The hospitality was beyond excellent. Bill and Joe were the most generous, kind, and helpful hosts. They know the area like the back of their hands (Warwick is absolutely stunning with great vineyard within town. The breakfast was AMAZING! There aren't enough positive adjectives I can give the Inn. Definitely a place to get away and for any special occasion. With that said, I'm going to go book another stay!

My husband and I stayed in the Sam Houston room for a night this past weekend as a part of an overnight trip to celebrate his birthday. Bill and Joe are tireless hosts - anything that we might had needed, they have it ready for us! There are snacks in the room, water and drinks in a small fridge in the hallway. Restaurant-quality breakfast with fresh eggs that are from their own chickens (that live on premises! say hi to the chickens and ducks next to the pond!), all set in their beautiful dining room. There is a sitting area downstairs as well that if we were staying longer, with any amount of downtime, I wouldn't mind spending some time there with a book. The rooms are tastefully decorated with all the modern needs and wants - a gorgeous antique cabinet opens up to a flat-screen TV with every movie channel. Speedy wifi. Well-appointed en-suite bathrooms, immaculately clean. Very comfortable bed! I'm usually a light sleeper outside of my own home, slept like a stone here. We will definitely return soon. Upon checkout, Bill and Joe gave us a map of the area that has many items highlighted that we'll love to check out next time.

Joe and Bill have succeeded in every possible way at their bed and breakfast. My husband and I spent an overnight to celebrate our anniversary. I was a bit hesitant to go to a bed and breakfast, since I had a bad experience in the past. From the minute we walked through the doors we felt so comfortable and at home. Bill and Joe are such kind gentlemen, and do everything to make it a perfect stay. We stayed in the Appalachian room, and loved the Jacuzzi. We also did the breakfast in bed, which was delicious and a great idea. If you are looking to stay in the area, look no further this is it! Can't wait to go back in a few months!

We needed to getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city so we chose to visit Warwick Winery. The Inn we stayed was phenomenal. We called about taxis in the area since we were going for tasting. Imagine our surprise that Bill, one of the Innkeepers, drove us to and back from the winery! We were allowed to check in early. After the previous couple checked out and the room cleaned. We got spoiled. During the stay we had unlimited soda, Christmas cookies from Joe and breakfast in our room. The Christmas decorated houses provided a romantic spot for our us at night. Our night in Warwick was magical. We highly recommend Stony Creek Inn.

The inn was just perfect on a frigid Valentine's day weekend. It was our first time there and the house was full, with a few returnees as well. We found our room to be cozy, and very comfortable. The bathroom is need of some updating, as Bill pointed out, but my husband and I made do with a stall shower. Bill and Joe were absolutely the best hosts anyone could ask for. They were informative, warm and welcoming. The breakfasts were artful and delicious. Finally, I just fell for Mikanos (sp?), one of the resident parrots who is just beautiful, as well as affectionate! We can't wait to come back in the spring to enjoy the outdoors there. It's such a lovely location.

This is the perfect spot to hunker by the fire with a good book and watch the snow! The room was beautiful, comfortable and warm. The ambiance, in general, was perfect and the Innkeepers delightful.

I stayed at the Inn at Stony Creek for two nights while working in the Warwick area. Our innkeepers were helpful in every way, and the Inn is very cozy. My room was immaculate and carefully organized to meet my every need. Breakfast was delicious and dining area bright and cheery. I will be back!

We took a "no plans" drive up north just for fun, so had no expectations about where we would stay or what we would fine. Wow, were our expectations surpassed! Not only were the innkeepers lovely, but the inn itself was gorgeous, the food was delicious, and we met a cockatoo to boot.

Everything about The Inn at Stony Creek was incredible. I stayed in the Sam Houston room, which was spacious, clean and very comfortable. I stayed for two days, and breakfast on each day was so delicious and every ingredient was fresh and prepared to perfection. Bill and Joe are excellent owners - very courteous and helpful, but never intrusive. I cannot recommend this place enough. I will definitely be returning.

We enjoyed a one-night stay in the Appalachian room. It was the first bitter cold night of the season and we were cozy warm in this room with radiant heat and an electric fireplace. Jacuzzi tub for two and direct exit to outside were nice extras. Breakfast fantastic! Great selection of DVDs too. Close to wineries, which we enjoyed.

My husband and I stay with Joe and Bill frequently as we have family in the area. We are welcomed as almost part of the family. Their inn, service and food is always top notch!

The Inn at Stony Creek was wonderful, the Inn itself was part of an old diary farm so was charming and beautifully decorated in a colonial style. The innkeepers were very nice and made you feel like you were part of their family. We were greeted with warm cookies and tea and the room we stayed in was very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious so all in all, I highly recommend the Inn at Stony Creek!

This was our second stay at Stony Creek, and it just gets better each time. We stayed in a new room which had a private entrance and Jacuzzi tub. The décor was beautiful, staying true to the style of the inn while giving you modern luxuries like a flat screen tv, electric fireplace and a gorgeous bathroom. Joe and Bill are absolutely wonderful, and their breakfasts are amazing! Can't give enough praise for this wonderful gem nestled in a beautiful area with so many great restaurants, vineyards/wineries and shopping available close by. Thank you Joe and Bill, we can't wait for our next visit!

When I first book six days in Inn at Stony Creek, I was bit worried. But to my own surprise, it was beyond my imaginations and expectations in a very good way. Me and my husband had one of the most romantic stays in our whole lives. Our room was very clean and all the amenities were there. It was very tastefully decorated. Breakfast is unbelievable and we didn't have to bother about lunch. It really felt like the home away from home, since we are all the way from Australia, it was very comforting. We are coming back for sure again.

We stayed here just for one night to celebrate our anniversary. The place was clean, the room was beautiful and the property was great. We will definitely be going back again.

This 1840's home has been loving restored to an amazing retreat near the quaint town of Warwick. The owners, who have lived in the area for many years are a wealth of historic information as well as all the activities in the surrounding area. Plus, they make an amazing breakfast with a variety of selections daily! Our best B&B experience!

Our stay at the Inn at Stony Creek was truly enjoyable. What impressed us the most were Bill and Joe, the owners of the Inn. They both were so friendly and accommodating and welcomed us in their home with open arms. We did not feel like "guests", rather we felt like "family". I would highly recommend anyone to stay at the Inn at Stony Creek. We certainly will make it a habit to keep coming back!!

I had always wanted to go to a Bed and Breakfast, so this New Year's my boyfriend and I booked a stay at the Inn at Stony Creek. The house was very beautiful and quaint. The innkeepers were so kind and welcoming. The food was delicious and I wish I could eat there breakfast every morning! My only thing would be that next time we come back, which we both agree in doing so, would to go in earlier that season or in the summer or fall. There seemed more to do during those times. All in all we loved loved loved this Inn. I am recommending all my friends to this Inn!

Clean, comfortable, friendly, perfect. These words describe Stony Creek perfectly. Owners give the place a comfortable warm feeling. Their friendly demeanor makes you feel like your part of the family. The accommodations are immacculate. Perfect for a short weekend getaway or a longer stay to decompress.

Due to traffic the night of, and snow the next morning, our time at Stony Creek was unfortunately brief and we really didn't have a chance to fully appreciate the property. Despite that, our stay was still terrific, as our hosts were friendly, welcoming and as accommodating as possible. We certainly hope to return at a more auspicious time.

All around this was an amazing experience. I did quite a bit of research prior to traveling to the area and based on reviews thought that the Inn at Stony Creek would be our best bet as I was looking for a mixture of quaint, cleanliness, and good breakfast. They did not disappoint! The rooms were beautiful, quaint, and incredibly clean. The Inn, scenery and property are gorgeous and immaculate. What was most impressive was the level of service Bill and Joe give and how welcomed they make you feel. Their breakfast is absolutely PHENOMENAL and they go above and beyond to deliver. No question about it I will be back here in the future. Warwick is a neat town and the Inn at Stony Creek alone makes the trip well worth it.

My husband and I found the Inn at Stoney Creek to be an absolutely wonderful experience in enjoying our postponed honeymoon last weekend. Bill and Joe attended to our every need and went above and beyond to make our experience one that was so very special and one that we will never forget! We stayed at several places in a one-week trip from DC to Vermont, and this was our favorite. Friendly folks who clearly have put a lot of care and love into their house. Quiet, clean, comfortable, and welcoming. We were there only one night and wished we had time to stay longer.

Our stay at Stony Creek Inn was great. Bill Signor and Joe Campone were so great to us. Our stay didn't start well and not because of the Inn. We had booked our weekend on line, webervation reservation sent me a confirmation# rules of the Inn, but they never forwarded it to Stony Creek Inn. So our little getaway for our 9th wedding anniversary wasn't what we had planned. They did have a room for Friday night for us and they checked with other B&B's in the area for a room for Saturday night. Bill and Joe went way beyond to help us. Would we recommend Stony Creek, YES we would! The place was neat and clean the breakfast was to die for. What I wouldn't recommend is going thru the website I would call and make reservation.

Down a country road, complete with antiques of all sorts, the Inn at Stony Creek offers a peaceful respite from a busy life. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and certainly would go back again.

The inn is situated in a beautiful setting. My room was large and comfortable, if a bit too kitschy with Victoriana for my taste, and had a miniscule bathroom/shower. Innkeepers Bill and Jim are very accommodating and serve a good breakfast. I don't think the $170 a night rate for Warwick, NY, is a good value, and the additional $45 in taxes for two nights convinced me.
We are sorry that this guest did not thoroughly enjoy her accommodation. Our Inn is decorated in the Federal period (not kitchy?)style. Or names are Bill and Joe and unfortunately we can not do anything about the taxes. The bathroom in this particular room is small however, it is as described and shown on our website. We strive for 100% guest satisfaction, but don't believe in this case there was anything we could have done to please his individual.

We enjoyed every minute of our long weekend at The Inn at Stony Creek. The hosts Bill and Joe see to every detail, from fresh flowers in your room and on the dining tables to excellent guidance and recommendations re local restaurants and attractions. They are genuinely interested in their guests, but don't hover over you as at some other inns. Breakfasts are outstanding with 2 choices daily; one always includes fresh eggs from the chickens that roam outside. We stayed in the Lexington Room which has its own patio overlooking the pond and loved it. The room was delightful and has a very large bathroom with an over-sized shower and jacuzzi tub. We highly recommend this charming B & B and look forward to returning for another long weekend.

I've lost count of the number of times we have stayed at the Inn over the last 7 or 8 years. Our stay last week was wonderful as always. Despite the heat wave outside, our room and the Inn itself was very comfortable - two great nights of sleeping. Wonderful breakfast, good coffee, fresh fruit - who could ask for anything more?

Went for two nights with my girlfriend in the middle of the week. Room was spacious, very well decorated, and extremely cozy. Were greeted by a smile by Bill and Joe, who are without a doubt the best hosts we could have asked for: EXTREMELY friendly, attentive, knowledgeable, and nice, they guided us with suggestions of things to do and even had printed prepared directions on how to get around. At them same time they were never overbearing. The inn itself is beautiful and scenic. Absolutely everything you can ask for at a Bed and Breakfast.

Bill and Joe are premiere innkeepers whose sole focus is making sure their guests are having a lovely, relaxing stay in their charming inn. We spent two nights at the inn. From the warm and inviting welcome we received through the moment we were waving goodbye, we were continually delighted with the inn and their hospitality. The breakfasts were delicious in their beautiful dining area with choices between two selections each morning. They were quick to suggest places to go and were always handy with directions. Though some may feel its too far from Warwick, we loved that it was out in the country and that the quiet sounds of night enveloped us like a sweet country song. We will definitely be back - and highly recommend this inn to anyone who is looking for individual attention, quiet, and complete relaxation. Thanks so much for a very enjoyable stay, Bill and Joe! What a way to celebrate our 4th anniversary!! Our plan was to go to a local winery, into town for dinner, and then maybe a movie. Wound up skipping the movie, and just coming "home" and enjoying some wine on the rocking chairs on the front porch. EVERY detail is attended to in this beautiful and relaxing B and B....one of he first things we noticed when we arrived was that the toilet paper has a raised seal that is stamped "SC"!!! We LOVED this place. A great place for a getaway for some marriage maintenance. We felt pampered and respected and the surroundings were lovely. The weather was not great, but we still had a wonderful time and our hosts were fantastic. Our only disappointment was that the creek had been mussed up by recent storms and flooding, so was not as picturesque as we had hoped. But the areas immediately around the inn, both landscaped and wild, were spectacular. We stayed in the Patriot room, very quaint and homey, with a lovely private bath. I highly recommend this place, and would go back in a heartbeat.

Our May, 2012 visit to the B&B was our second. This is by far and away our favorite B&B in the eastern U.S. Jim and Joe are wonderful hosts, the house is an historic gem, our room, the Patriot Room, beautifully decorated with windows on two sides and a large, lovey bathroom. Breakfast is "to order" and our eggs were gathered that morning or the afternoon the day before from Jim and Joe's hens in their henhouse. We love the drive to the B&B, through lush farms and beautiful forests. We also enjoy walks out the front door--around the neighborhood, which includes other historic homes, a creek and great bird-watching--or into the forest across the street. By all means stay here. It is a joy.

Hi, it has been a week since my spouse and i left the Inn at Stony Creek. The stay has left a lasting memory in both our minds, the tranquility of being a way from city, the uniqueness of the room, the breakfast served, the personal touches and the excellent hosts over at the Stony Creek makes this stay the most memorable in our lives to date. In my honest opinion it is comparable to some of the 5 star hotels that i have stayed world wide, the experience is unlike any other. I strongly recommend a stay in this establishment if your schedule permits. And If you were to stay at the Inn at Stony Creek and prior to checking in you might want to check out the small plaque that has the words "Colonial ambience, First class amenities, and Gracious hospitality." Rest assured the hosts Bill and Joe will make sure you experience these words and much more during your entire stay . thanks Adrian Wong

My Wife and I had a great weekend at the Inn at Stony Creek! Bill and Joe are excellent and friendly hosts but they do not dominate your time with conversation. They are very knowledgeable about activities in the area. The accomdations were very clean and comfortable and the inn is well decorated with an old colonial/patriot feel. The breakfast were certainly of a gourmet level. During the day, we enjoyed some local hikes on the nearby Appalachian trail followed up by some wine tasting at the nearby Warwick Winery and Orchard. We had a great time and loved our stay!

We had a good time staying here and talking with the delightful owners who were very friendly. Room was big and there was good food nearby. Only complaint was that the bed wasn't terribly comfortable and was a little squeaky.

We have visited this Inn on a number of occasions and look forward to returning in the future. This is a very comfortable place to stay in terms of the facilities and the atmosphere created by the owners. They always have time for any question / conversation - whatever! They are there if you need them or not if you want some quiet time. Lots of thought has gone into this inn but it does not give the impression of being "overthought." Breakfast is always very tasty - there is a menu but they will try an accomodate anything you might want. Or more if you want that! Lovely home in a lovely place.

We just got back from two nights at the inn, and it was an absolutely perfect experience from start to finish. As the other reviewers have said, Joe and Bill could not be better hosts. Fun and friendly and welcoming--and to top it all off, Joe is a fantastic cook! The breakfasts were divine. The Americana Suite was spacious and comfortable with a big comfy couch and plenty of room to lounge around. The jacuzzi tube was a treat, and it's always handy to have a fridge in the room. The room decorations are charming and fun, and the communal sitting and dining area is especially gorgeous. Relaxing with a cup of tea in front of the fireplace? Can't beat that. The location is great--just a few miles from town, but in a nice and quiet and gorgeous area (and this was in the off season--I can't wait to come back in the spring. And summer. And fall. I really can't say enough good things. I didn't want to leave--and I can't wait to go back and visit again.

My girlfriend and I had a great weekend getaway here. The service and hospitality of Joe and Bill, the inn-keepers, were outstanding. The Inn itself, the property and the surrounding areas were beautiful and the morning breakfast was delicious. I recommend the Inn at Stony Creek to anyone seeking a relaxing escape in the country.

Me and my boyfriend spent new years eve at the Inn at Stony Creek and we had such an awesome time!! From the moment we arrived to the minute that we left, we felt so at home and welcomed. Bill and Joe were extremely hospitable and made sure that we were completely taken care of. Our room was so cozy and well-maintained. The grounds are beautiful and the atmosphere was so relaxing; exactly what we were looking for. It was the perfect romantic getaway. The next morning, breakfast was promptly prepared for us and consisted of yogurt parfaits, stuffed french toast, fresh fruit, and sausage, among other items. When I say that it was ABSOLUTELY delicious, I am not exaggerating. It was probably the best breakfast I've ever had, beyond any restaurant or brunch spot. The fresh eggs that were used come from they're own on site chickens! Give this place a try, you will not regret it. We will definitely be returning!! Ps. theres lots of things to do in the area including hiking which we happily did the next morning; what a beautiful area! And the town of Warwick was wonderful, great places to eat!

This inn was just what I needed for a quick overnight stay on business during the Christmas season. The inn was tastefully decorated and the room was beautiful. I ordered a cheese/fruit tray upon arrival. It was delicious and had some tasty extras like chocolates and yummy cookies. Highly recommend this inn for an overnight or weekend stay.

Coming from a large city this is a true haven of peace and quiet. Bill and Joe could not be more welcoming in sharing their house We had a comfortable, spacious room with it's own entrance at the back of the house. Good breakfasts to start the day and my only complaint is that we did not make more time to stay.
5 on October 20, 2011
We stayed here for 6 days and were sad to leave. The inn is beautiful, but it's the care that Bill & Joe give you that makes it such a delightful experience. When you return to the inn they are there to find out how your day went and to offer to help with any plans for later that day or the next day. They have detailed directions available to help you find your way to anyplace in this part of the country and go out of their way to make certain that all is well with your stay. They are exceptionally caring people and you can tell from previous guests who are returning that this is standard for them. Bob & Doris, Newport Beach, CA

Very close to Warwick Valley Winery and both Bill and Joe were very nice and hospitable. My husband and I stayed with our 5 month old daughter and enjoyed spending time in the common room downstairs while she was sleeping. Nice fireplaces in both the common room and in our bedroom. Breakfast was FANTASTIC - we loved the omelets and the french toast. Would definitely recommend this BnB and we'd love to go back!

We LOVE this inn. First time staying there. Came highly recommended. Our room was gorgeous and had a jacuzzi bathtub! The owners Bill and Joe are lovely, friendly people. We were stuck an extra night because of the hurricane and were so happy. They made dinner, we and the other guests contributed wine etc. Had a glorious time. Cannot recommend it enough.

My husband and I attended a wedding up in Warwick NY this past weekend. Originally we planned to stay only until Sun morning, but with Hurricane Irene upon us we added an addtional day to our stay. Our hosts were amazing. So accomodating and personable. They made sure we all had a homecooked dinner on Sunday with them as the weather was horrible. The dinner was amazing as was the company). I am so thankful we picked this inn and spent the hurricane weekend with them. Everyone asked upon our return about how "bad" our trip was with the weather, and I told them it was fabulous because of Bill & Joe. Fantastic breakfasts each morning and we LOVED our room. I can't wait to go back there again.

I stayed at Stony Creek overnight for a business stay. It was cheaper than or on par with some of the local chain hotels, but with infinitely more charm, catered-to-you kind of service, and view! I've stayed at a B&B or two--in fact my honeymoon was in one--and they all have a different feel. This one is arguably my new favorite. It's located on former dairy farmland, and definitely has that farmhouse kind of feel, but with some old colonial charm mixed into the decor. It felt comfortable, everywhere you went. The innkeepers obviously went out of their way to attend to every small detail they could think of to make the stay pleasurable. They provided drinks of all sorts, the rooms came with a basket of little treats, the bathrooms came with lovely toiletries. They both greeted us when we came in the door and welcomed us, and helped us to carry our bags upstairs. They provided a book of recommendations for dining in the area. And when I realized I was going to need some paperwork printed at the last minute for my early-morning meeting the next day, they were gracious enough to print them up for me at 11:00 at night! Food the next morning was delicious, and both innkeepers chatted with us in the dining area. Their story of how they came to own Stony Creek is very interesting--you should ask them about it! I envy their lifestyle...it's breathtakingly beautiful and CALM out there! One final footnote is that the town it's nestled in--Warwick--is beyond charming. Small town or village feel, very well-maintained, with an old, beautiful, restored train station as its focal point. The town has lots top-notch dining--French, Italian, Irish--with lots of outdoor dining. And it also has lots of unique antique shops and dining. All together, this inn and this town make this one LOVELY get-away. I'll be looking for excuses to come back this way for business as often as I can!

We had a lovely, relaxing weekend. Bill and Joe are warm, welcoming and accommodating. The inn is beautiful, and the morning eggs come from its very own chickens! A great place to stay if you want to experience all that the area has to offer and have a quiet and romantic place to relax with a glass of local wine at the end of the day.

Very comfortable, quiet setting, great breakfast! We only stayed one night and arrived a little late, so we didn't get to take in much of the ambiance there, but what we did have time for was definitely a pleasure. Our host was very helpful, very willing to offer suggestions, and pleasant to talk with. I would recommend it to anyone.

We arrived on a rainy Friday evening late for a family party. Bill was extremely helpful with directions to our party and where to make quick stops for cards and a hostess gift. After the party we returned to a homey, antique-filled room and awoke the next morning to views of meadows and sunshine. Chef Joe, graciously accomodate our last minute request for a vegetarian breakfast by cooking a deliciously fluffy omelette made with eggs from their own chickens and packed with asparagus, mushrooms, zucchini and fresh herbs. Yum! Thank you Bill and Joe for the wonderful time. We plan on visiting again.
5 on May 30, 2011
There wasn't a thing not to like about this Inn -- the quiet, nicely-decorated room that felt so in keeping with the history of the place, without the frou-frou attack that hits so many B&Bs; the lovely, bird-filled meadow and clear creek, the all-too-available homemade cookies and excellent breakfast. But best of all is the hospitality of Bill and Joe, who are genuine and who made us feel like we were old friends, without being intrusive, even though this was the first time we'd laid eyes on the place.

The attention to detail and special attention to their guests are priceless not to mention the delicious breakfast to start your perfect day. We absolutely love the town of Warwick. Perfect lunch spots like Le Petite Cuisine and their special desserts all freshly made, to the perfect dinner at the Landmark Inn with a delicious menu sure to make your mouth water. We would recommend the INN at Stony Creek to friends, family and to all who would like to feel special at a phenomenal place. Thanks again to Bill & Joe. Sincerely, Paul & Diane

I was looking for a romantic weekend getaway to celebrate an anniversary. THIS WAS THE PLACE! A short drive from NYC, Bill and Joe provided me with directions that were super clear! We arrived Sunday afternoon, the room was just what I expected, the property was gorgeous. I had only been to the area once, to the Warwick Winery, a 15 minute drive from the Inn, so I wasnt sure what we could really do to fully enjoy the days off. Bill had great suggestions and provided me with directions to any location I wanted (greatly appreciated and super helpful). Started with a trip to Woodbury Commons and then out for dinner at a local Inn. The following morning we woke up to a choice of homemade waffles or FRESH eggs from the chickens on property. The breakfast was AMAZING. My boyfriend is a chef, so that says a lot! After breakfast we spent the day exploring all of Bill's suggestions. Had ice cream at a local creamery, went wine tasting, a farmer's market, a walk in Sugar Loaf ended with a trip to the movies. Just a tip- almost everything is closed on Mondays, so don't expect to do a lot of shopping at local stores! We were sad to leave Tuesday, back to the grind. We plan on making a summer trip back to the Inn. I would HIGHLY recommend the Inn at Stony Creek to anyone. Bill & Joe were so pleasant and just lovely to meet.

My girlfriend and I planned very little of our weekend in Warwick ahead of time, relying instead on the know-how of Bill and Joe. They were amazingly helpful, telling us the best things to do in the area, giving us detailed directions (complete with hand-drawn maps), and even making reservations for us at our desired restaurants. They knew of every place, every menu, every shortcut. If you want a worry-free vacation look no further.

We had a wonderful stay at Inn at Stoney Creek. The room was great and every detail was in place. The bathroom was a little small, but that is just a minor detail. The all over impression is that this is a perfect place to relax. The breakfast alone is worth the stay. A perfect mix of what we thought of as "typical american", healthy and delightfully served. Bill and Joe are wonderful people and could not have been for helpful. The Inn at Stoney Creek are loacated in wonderful surroundings. We absolutely recomend it.

I stayed at the inn with my wife for a few days over the holidays while we were in town from Southern California to visit her family. The inn was very well kept and the service and food were excellent. Bill and Joe, the two innkeepers, are extremely accessible and go above and beyond to make you feel at home. At one point, one of them offered to make me lunch while I sat by the inn’s living room fire on a lazy afternoon. Bill and Joe also detailed their plans to expand the inn by converting the barn into additional rooms (project scheduled for Spring/Summer 2011). The inn was completely full during our four-night stay and every guest seemed to enjoy the peace and quiet. Guests ranged from all ages, from young couples, like my wife and me, to retirement age. This is a great alternative to the hotels in the area, which are relatively comparable in price but not nearly as high quality. I recommend it for folks who are looking to get away from NYC for a weekend – a number of the guests seemed to be New Yorkers looking for a quiet retreat.

Arrived at night on Spanktown road which is pretty rural, but the Inn was wonderfully lighted up and welcoming. Innkeeper waited up for us and gave us great advice on dining late in Warwick. Breakfast was very top-notch . The room was cozy with great choices of antique furniture and decoration. Ask Bill about his background in antiques and to look at his scrapbook of the farmhouse to Inn restoration. What a vision. Extensive grounds and preservation area for nature walking. Definitely a way-station for our northern jaunts.
