The downstairs garden apartment is quite large and has everything you need. My daughter and I met for a long Mother's Day weekend and it was a huge success. We walked the High Line, used the 23rd street station to get all over the city and found the local restaurants, groceries, pizza places a few blocks away very convenient. Karen is a very involved New Yorker and could answer our questions with in-depth insight.. Be sure to check out the Atlantic Theater for an intimate experience only blocks away. Our excursion to the rooftop garden got rained out ):...Next time for sure!

My daughter & I met for a weekend at A Garden in Chelsea one week ago. We have done this often though I must say this was our favorite place to stay. The owners, Karen & Paul were so kind & helpful. We stayed in the 1 bedroom unit on the 3rd floor & it was delightful & so quiet. The location is ideal, close to everything. Restaurants galore & we took Karen & Paul's suggestions and each of those restaurants were delicious. We saw two Broadway shows which we do each visit & the subway ride was a breeze. I have nothing but great things to say and we will return to this charming garden in Chelsea. Thank you for all your kindness Karen & Paul & we look forward to seeing you again soon!

Our family of five were offered an apartment two flights up, which turned out to be perfect for us. The B&B was in a quiet neighborhood and had windows both towards the street and towards the back, which made it light and pleasant. The bedroom had a queen-size bed and in the livingroom there was a queen sofa-bed, and a high Aero bed. The kitchen was well equiped and had the basics such as salt and peppar... The Inn-keepers were nice and attentive and did their best to resolve the problem we initially we had with the wi-fi in the apartment. They knocked on the door every day just to check that everything was great. We thought 22nd Street was just perfect. Close-by we could find any store to meet our daily life needs. As the B&B was between downtown and TimesSquare, we mostly walked when going somewhere. We really liked this place and can recommend it to anyone.

This was the second time I have stayed at the apartment and each time I leave wanting to go back as soon as possible. The apartment is everything you could want. Beautifully furnished, all the rooms a good size, great natural light, clean, warm and comfortable. It’s in a gorgeous Brownstone building on a picturesque tree-lined street in Chelsea. There are great local amenities and transport links and is nearby to some wonderful places such as Chelsea Market, the Meatpacking District and The High Line. A special mention must go to our wonderful hosts Karen and Paul. They are so knowledgeable about the city and are there when you need them and always happy to give you recommendations. I cannot wait until I return.

My daughter and spent 3 weeks at a Garden in Chelsea in February and we loved it. So much better than being in an impersonal hotel. We moved in, unpacked, and felt at home immediately. The kitchen was well set-up, lots of thick white towels in the bathroom, plus cozy bathrobes. Karen and Paul were the most gracious of hosts, nothing was ever too much trouble. The perfect holiday really. Highly recommended.

This charming studio apartment in a historic brownstone on a beautiful block in Chelsea is the perfect place to stay! If feels like your own home--or like the place you would like to live in NYC. The innkeepers are delightful and helpful, and can recommend so many great things to do in the neighborhood and all around the city. My husband and I had a very romantic night, and would love to go back for a longer stay. There are great art galleries, restaurants, and shops close by. The room is nicely decorated, the bed is comfortable, and it's very quiet. All in all, a perfect place and perfect location for enjoying NYC!
