We stayed here for a family wedding, and it was actually our first stay at a Bed and Breakfast! We were absolutely charmed. Suzanne was delightful to work with from our very first contact! We came from out of state and left after work. After almost seven hours of driving and thinking we would have to just ‘slip in’, we were touched that Suzanne was up and waiting, greeting us with “Welcome home!”. Breakfast was delicious and abundant!

We found an abundance of quiet comfort and elegance at the pink house at 134 East First Street visiting Corning, NY. This B&B was the perfect base for all activities in the area. The perfectly-appointed bedrooms with period furnishings, each with a private bath, sitting rooms and a large dining room (for sixteen) where breakfast is served every day. Suzanne, the owner and gracious hostess, knows everything about where to go, what to see and what to eat.

We had a wonderful stay at the Rosewood Inn. The room was well equipped for an historic house. The host was a joy to talk with. The location is perfect for walking a very short distance to stores and restaurants in Corning and to the Corning Museum of Glass. Susanne provided some good recommendations for dining. Highly recommended!

Suzanne met us at the door and welcomed us “home”. She was friendly, knowledgeable about the area and gave us lots of tips about the glass museum and history about Corning. Breakfast exceeded our expectations by far! When we go to Corning again, we will most definitely stay here.

The Rosewood Inn was more than anything we expected. This was the first time that we ever stayed at a Bed n Breakfast and we were duly impressed. The rooms were impeccable. The surroundings radiated history . The hostess was very well known in town, and she was a font of information so that our exploration of the town was made extremely easy. Fantastic place to stay.
