Great location, dinner was wonderful. We found the inn to be a bit musty smelling in the common areas, but this is to be expected in an older place. Overall a nice stay and we will likely visit again.

We have been returning to the Surfside Inn year after year for over a decade and found their service and hospitality second to none. The rooms are lovely, filled with antiques and some have a view of Queensland beach. (There is nothing we like more than falling asleep to the sounds of the ocean surf.) Our favourite bed and breakfast in Nova Scotia and highly recommended.

We stayed at the Surfside Inn on our wedding night recently. The rooms that both my best man and his wife as well as our room were very charming and warm. We loved the old antique look of the rooms and the Inn itself. The Inn greeted us with roses and a card in our room and were very helpful in getting us settled in to get ready for our day. I cant really comment on the dining side of the Inn as we did not have a meal there besides coffee in the morning when we got up. My best man did say that they were very pleased with the meal they enjoyed the night prior. I will be planning a return visit at some time for an anniversary celebration in the future where we can check out the dining.

Très tranquille. Vue magnifique. Très bon petit déjeuner. Seul commentaire négatif:le lit est trop haut; il m'aurait fallu un petit banc. Pas de problème si vous avez de longues jambes...

Celebrated our first anniversary with a romance package at Surfside Inn. Service was amazing and the food was done to perfection. A beautiful location and we are sure to return.

First of all, sleeping with the sound of the pounding waves across the road was very relaxing. It is a nice, but small beach and you have to cross an extremely busy road from establishment to get there and there is no cross walk. It is also right on a corner where you cannot see if cars are coming so you pretty much take a chance. They offered breakfast in the morning which is a nice feature. Room was okay, but very hot as not all of the windows opened. The fan on the ceiling was very old, did not work well and could use a cleaning or better yet, a new one. It is a very old building that really could do with lots of upgrading. There are very limited choices on the food menu but the wine by the bottle was reasonably priced. Our meals very good. Overall, I think until they make some upgrades and perhaps make the road crossing safer, they are charging a bit too much for a night's stay. Probably will not return.
