Just returned from another wonderful stay in the lower room apartment and yet again cannot fault the room we have used these apartments for years now as the service received from the host Cees is excellent the breakfast included has an excellent choice and something to suit everyone and can be taken up to 2pm and you can help yourself to tea and coffee 24hrs so all adds up to great value for money right in the heart of all that is going on a real home from home feel always

The innkeeper, Cees, was available and very helpful. However, apartment was not as represented in the photos on the internet which showed a well cared place. It was in poor condition, with stained carpets, damaged wall etc.

We stayed in Sept 2009; the room was nice and clean. Breakfast was self serve but full of great choices. Located right in the heart of center city, you can walk everywhere. The place is quaint and quiet even though it is in the middle of everything. The stairs are steep and kind of tight so if that's a problem, beware. Otherwise a great place to stay, computer with internet access onsite, travel books in the kitchen, a good value, and Cee's is very helpful host!!

Everything was wonderful, especially so after having our luggage lost for the first two days of our vacation. They helped us locate the luggage through the airport help line, speaking Dutch for us and providing a calm in a growing storm. We stayed with them on our return as well, checking in quite late. Nothing was a problem for them.

I stayed in the loft bed and breakfast with the private bathroom. The hospitality given by the 2 hosts was fantastic as they were very gracious and accomodating, nothing was too much trouble. It was centrally located with a small walking distance to the Central station, red light district,Dam Square and the canals. The rooms were spotlessly clean, roomy with all amenities that you would need to make your stay a pleasant experience. There was free internet access which was great and a tv in the bedroom with access to many European stations including English speaking. We travelled in April so the weather was perfect with most days in the early 20's. The kitchen and the food provision for breakfast was excellent, an added bonus when you don't have to worry about getting up early to go and get something to eat. This was excellent value for money and I would thoroughly recommend to anyone wishing to stay in Amsterdam for a few days.
The room is cozy and very spacious (25 m2 or 260 sqr ft), and has a private bathroom ensuite. Furthermore the room is equipped with a comfortable double bed, a fridge, cable television, hair dryer, alarm clock radio and coffee / tea making facilities including more than enough free coffee and tea supllies. Breakfast is in our well stocked self service guest kitchen, where you can have your breakfast the way you like it, whenever you like.

Amsterdam, Netherlands (AMS-Schiphol)
From the Central Station it is only a 5 minutes walk to Amsterdam Central b&b. Coming out from the Central Station, you walk straight ahead onto the street in front of you, this is the Damrak. Walking down this street you see a small harbour/canal on your left hand side. After a few hundred meters this harbour ends. At the end of the harbour there is a small street to the left. Turn left here, because this is our street, the Oudebrugsteeg. Walking down this street you will surely notice the pub the Grasshopper in front of you on the left side of the street. Just a few houses after that also on the left side you will find a door with housenumber 6. This is our entrance. Use the top bell (there are two bells) and we will open the door for you. (If you get lost on your way here, just call us and we will guide you).
