Excellent BnB! I would stay again

4.6 on July 24, 2018

My husband and I stayed for 2 nights in their Garden View Room, and we had a fantastic stay! Andrea & George are excellent hosts, and very accommodating. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the size of both the room & bathroom were quite large. Their cat Bibb was always there to greet us by the door, what a cutie! We loved playing pool, throwing darts, and utilizing the fire pit overlooking the mountains. The walk into town was less than a 1/2 mile which was great for exploring the restaurants and shops. Food was decent. I'm a good chef at home, so to most individuals the food would be considered at a high level. I would definitely stay again for the environment, comfort, and phenomenal hosts!

Innkeeper Response
Thanks so much for the great review and kind words about the Andon-Reid Inn. We are very glad you enjoyed your stay, especially that you made good use of our patio and fire pit overlooking the beautiful mountain view from the Inn. We hope you will come back and stay with us again.

Outstanding service, great food, very relaxing stay

5 on June 22, 2018

We had the best time, very relaxing, can't wait to go back, bed was so comfortable and the breakfast was great.

Innkeeper Response
We are so glad you enjoyed your stay at the Andon-Reid Inn. Many guests comment on their comfortable nights sleep and this may partly be due to our cozy beds, but we think the peaceful surroundings and fresh mountain air may take some of the credit. We are delighted you enjoyed our breakfasts. Many thanks for the kind review and top ratings.

Great Experience

5 on April 06, 2018

This was our first time to any B&B and we were very elated by the experience we received. As soon as we arrived, in parking lot, there was some one at the front door (outside) greeting us then warm welcome. She gave the tour, asked for Tea/Water, they were very friendly. Property is well maintained, they have a nice game room too. Guest rooms were as is in the picture, they looked great. Overall we had a great experience.

Innkeeper Response
We are delighted that you enjoyed your first B&B experience and pleased that the Andon-Reid Inn was able to introduce you to this wonderful way to travel. Thank you for all the kind comments. Our large and well equipped games room is pretty unique for a B&B and one of our hidden treasures. We hope we will see you again in the not too distant future.

Lovely place

4.6 on December 22, 2017

My husband and I had a little birthday getaway. We choose the Andon-Reid Inn. We had the Grand Library Suite. It was so cozy. The bathroom alone was to die for. The breakfast was good. I'm not big on breakfast but still enjoyed it. The little town was cute. The basement game room was lots of fun. Andrea and George, the host, we're very warm and welcoming. And full of knowledge on the area. I would love to come back again one day.

Innkeeper Response
Thank you for the lovely review. We are glad you enjoyed your stay at the Andon-Reid Inn. Our large games room is fairly unique for a B&B and lots of fun for our guests - especially in the colder months when the wonderful outdoor activities in the area are a little more curtailed. We hope you will come back and see us again soon.

Home Away from Home

4.4 on November 13, 2017

George & Andrea are wonderful hosts and breakfast each morning was a delicious start to the day! The photos on their website are "spot on" as were recommendations of places to go and things to see/do while in the Waynesville area. Normally we enjoy trying new B&B's when traveling even to the same area; however, next year we'll return to the Andon-Reid Inn!

Great place to stay

4.4 on September 08, 2017

Both Anton-Reid and the town of Waynesville exceeded our expectations. Our garden room was spacious and comfy and the jacuzzi following a hardy hike was so enjoyable. Though we are not 'breakfast people' the communal meal promptly at 830am was enjoyable with great coffee and pleasant conversation. We dined in 2 fabulous restaurants in town and hiked in Dupont forest with a short drive on the Blue Ridge Pkwy, When we return to the Asheville area again, AR will be our home away from home.

Tops in B&B's

4.8 on July 22, 2017

We stayed at the Andon-Reid Inn earlier this month for two nights. George and Andrea who own and run the B&B are tops in their field. They have a beautifully restored home that is clean and comfortable. They are very warm and friendly and make you feel at home. Your have your own Keurig in your room with coffee and tea. A mini frig in your room. Water and soft drinks provided. They welcomed us with a lovely note in our room along with cookies and chocolates. Snacks and a delicious baked good are provided in the family room. Breakfast is delicious and filling. A game room, exercise room and tv and dvd player downstairs. Many magazines and books in the Inn on the area, as well as recommendations by the owners. A gorgeous view of the mountains and cool breeze on the porch. Can you ask for more?

Great getaway at the Andon-Reid Inn

4.8 on July 15, 2017

We stayed at the Andon-Reid on July 3 and 4. It was the perfect base, we spent the first day in the Smoky Mt. Park and on the 4th traveled the Blue Ridge Parkway to Asheville. George and Andrea are the perfect hosts. They helped with dinner plans and served excellent breakfasts, even going out of their way when we had to leave early for a long drive home. We have rarely encountered more attention to detail. In addition to the meticulous condition of the home and grounds, the afternoon treats were greatly enjoyed. Our stay in the Blue Ridge room was delightful and evenings spent on the porch with a glass of wine and a splendid mountain view continue to provide pleasant memories.

And on-Reid Inn

5 on May 28, 2017

Great B&B. Have stayed at many and this is one of the best. Hosts attention and though on what amenities might be wanted was amazing. Neat town location and then only a 30 minute drive if you wish to go over to Asheville. Plenty of cute shops and restaurants in Waynesville though if you are staying for just a couple of days. If longer, probably want to venture further as it's a small town. We totally enjoyed our 3 night stay there and I highly recommend it.

The Best of the Best

5 on May 07, 2017

Our two-night stay at the Andon-Reid Inn was one of our best B&B experiences. George and Andrea were excellent hosts, providing great attention to detail at every level. There were many little "extras", like personal welcome notes and cookies in the room. The Carriage House offered a private, unique setting with all the modern comforts of home. The entire property was maintained to perfection!
