Beautiful retreat

5 on March 07, 2018

The room was spacious with a comfortable bed, and an attached bathroom. The house, itself, was beautiful! The hosts are gracious and accomodating. Definitely one I will return to!!

We love History!

5 on January 03, 2018

And this beautiful home has plenty. Jr and Robin, our hosts, took time to share and answer all our questions. We spent New Years Eve out and about visiting the Yadkin Valley vineyards, sobbing welcone to our room (the spacious Rm 4) for a rest before continuing the evening festivities was perfect! The next morning was the best start to a new year. I had to inquire about the bedding, specifically the pillows were most comfortable! Breakfast was thoughtfully prepared, filling and delicious. Robin tried something new for us and it was wonderful - I am still thinking about it! Thanks so much for a memorable visit! I only wish we had more time to enjoy the beautiful decor and lovely grounds.

Our room was wonderful and the breakfasts could not have been better. The location is perfect with a peaceful setting within easy walking distance of all the sights we wanted to see. When we return to Mt. Airy, this is where we will stay.

I planned my parent's a 50th wedding anniversary trip to Sobotta and the experience was wonderful. The staff went as far as having a Anniversary cake in the rooom upon arrival. The whole experience was phenomenal and the staff was so welcoming. Thank you Sobotta for treating my family as your very own!
