We stayed in the dogwood room, down stair it was spacious and very comfortable, we shared the Basement area with friends in the adjacent room during our stay and had the run of a fully fitted basement including TV Room, kitchen, shared toilet, shower, all exceeded our expectations and we were very happy. Gene explained all the services available for us at check in and made us feel comfortable with our surroundings, the rooms were quiet and clean and did I mention comfortable.

My husband and I stayed at the Acorn for 2 delightful nights. We enjoyed the personal touches in our room such as a night light in the bathroom, a beautiful and comfortable room to stay, and many thoughtful touches such as eclipse glasses, moon pies, and more. Gene was eager to help us with our luggage but in the mornings he became a professional chef. Our breakfast each morning was "over the top", We will return again whenever we are in the area.

Best part of our stay is always the warmth and friendliness of our hosts. Breakfast is always a gourmet delight--more than we can ever eat. Every detail of the accommodations is charming, including all the acorn themed toiletries. The lip balm I take home reminds me every day of how much I look forward to my next stay at the Acorn B&B. My husband and I had stayed at the Acorn once before and liked it so well, we returned. The rooms are very nice and reasonably priced, the people that own it are a pleasure to talk to and Gene is an excellent cook and provides a beautiful, as well as tasty, breakfast. We will go back again.

This was our second visit to the Acorn. It is a lovely home with very nice rooms and is convenient to Asheville and Hendersonville. The breakfasts are great and Gene and Bob offer great company and conversation during the meals. It is also a great value for the accomidations. We will stay there again!

We arrived late but were greeted with chocolates and homemade cookies. Our host spent a few minutes with us to give us the lay of the land, offer dinner suggestions and get out breakfast time. In the morning, coffee was ready before breakfast, and we took a cup back to our room. The breakfast itself was both gorgeous and delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed the meal and the conversation with the innkeepers.

Had the best stay at the Acorn B&B. Gene and Bob were incredible hosts, from the personalized signs on the doors to the freshly baked cookies in the room, and delicious breakfast, every detail of the experience was well thought out. We stayed in the Garden Room and it was super cute, the room was charming, spacious, and clean. The King size bed was both comfy and huge. Wasn't a bad drive from the Asheville area either, definitely a great find. I wholeheartedly recommend this B&B and would happily stay there again.
