My fiance' and I stayed at the Black Walnut B&B Inn Dec 30 & 31, 2016 for the New Year's weekend. We couldn't have asked for a better experience, and the proprietors of the Inn (Peter and Lori) were exceptional in all respects! Great food, and had really nice afternoon wine and Hors d'Oeuvres, with Peter and everyone else staying at the Inn. Great social time with everyone. This is a definitely a labor of love for Peter and Lori! Thx for the memories!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Black Walnut Bread and Breakfast! Wonderful ambiance and the breakfast was delicious. Really enjoyed getting together at 5 for the wine and appetizers and chatting with the other guests. We will be going back for another visit to Asheville and will be staying here!

The Black Walnut B&B is wonderful. Beautiful rooms with fireplaces are so cozy. The breakfast in the morning in fantastic and we loved the afternoon tea/cocktail hour. Appetizers and sweets and wine. Met a lot of nice people during breakfast and in the afternoon. Located close to downtown Asheville. We will stay her again! Great ambiance!

Good memories and great owners such as Lori and Peter White make the Inn what it is today. If we couldn't get a reservation at the inn, we weren't even going to Asheville; it's that important to us. The White's know the art of entertaining and making you feel welcome, food is exceptional....DW

This B&B is the best we have ever stayed in. We have stayed in many. The attention to detail is everywhere. The owners care and it shows. The food was unbelievable and the highest quality and so plentiful. The owners are around and that makes the difference. The innkeeper Beth was great too!! This is 5stars plus plus !!

This was our first stay at the Black Walnut and we will be going back. What a beautiful B&B. And the service was excellent. Peter gave us great recommendations on dining and excursions. Lori did a fantastic job with breakfast every morning. And Beth went out of her way to make sure my wife had some great gluten free options for wine and hors d'oeuvres every night. Lori did the same for breakfast. We would highly recommend!

We stayed in the carriage house and it was lovely and just a few steps from the main house for afternoon tea and the morning breakfast. The food service was exceptional and I highly recommended the Black Walnut.
