First of all, let me start by saying that Lisa, Doug, and Jodee are some of the most welcoming people I've ever met! I immediately felt right at home at Bent Creek Lodge. I am actually from Asheville, and was getting married on property nearby the Lodge. I had seen pictures and reviews of the Lodge online, but none of it prepared me for how truly beautiful the whole place is. I used the backyard gardens as setting for several of my bridesmaid's photos the day of the wedding, and they turned out perfect! This was also where my husband and I stayed for our first honeymoon night before traveling out of town, and we will definitely be making this a regular anniversary retreat! Beautiful home and property, peaceful location away from all the hustle and bustle, DELICIOUS food (I only had the pleasure of a french toast breakfast, but it was phenomenal!), warm hosts, and super cozy beds! Plus, the Tree Room has easily the best jacuzzi tub I've ever swam in. Yes, I said swam. The thing is HUGE!

A wonderful stay. The lodge and grounds are beautiful. Tucked away and secluded, but close to many restaurants and fun things to do! Breakfast each morning was delicious. The hosts were very nice and helpful. Would definitely recommend!

My wife and I stayed for two nights in the "Barn Room", convenient on the first floor. The hot breakfasts were just right for a full day ahead. Our hosts took a personal interest in us, without being intrusive. It was like friends meeting friends. This rustic lodge with its gardens, snacks, and magnificent and quirky ceramics professionally done by Jodee. Doug supervised the cooking and was gracious. He remembered fly-fishing details about a previous guest who had recommended the Lodge. The place was appointed to maximum detail without being showy. Best was at early evening, when we returned to sit in the Adirondack chairs at tree line taking in the view and chatting, if we wanted to, with other guests who also were seeking a peaceful and relaxed stay.

We stayed at the Bent Creek Lodge for 2 nights in June 2018 and absolutely loved every minute of it. Very comfortable and relaxing, beautiful garden and walking trails, 2 minutes to the Arboretum and 15 minutes to downtown Asheville. Doug and Jodee make an amazing breakfast every morning. There are lots of areas to sit and relax and enjoy the scenery and wildlife. We will definitely stay at Bent Creek Lodge again and will recommend it to our friends.

What an amazing find close to the Nantahala National Forest and Blue Ridge Parkway! Doug & Jodee Sellers seemed to have thought of everything which made the lodge so warm, inviting and homey! From the lovely rooms to the open common room, we couldn't have asked for better accommodations. Plus, the setting of this rustic lodge is just so peaceful and serene, you couldn't ask for a better place to reconnect or rejuvenate! We highly recommend this B&B and we know you won't be disappointed! Thanks Doug & Jodee!

We have stayed in many B&B's over the years and I have to say that this was the cleanest, most peaceful, beautiful and relaxing setting-not to mention meticulously cared for!! The property is just beautiful and if felt so comfortable, it was perfect!! Doug and Jodee were so kind, interesting and informative to speak with!! The staff were all very kind and helpful as well!! The breakfasts were definitely over the top and certainly as they hoped, something special that you would not have everyday at home! We are looking forward to our next visit this fall!!

The Bent Creek Lodge provided a beautiful spot to take in the mountains of Asheville. It is close to the French Broad River where we were able to kayak. We also hiked right off the property. The hosts were gracious and friendly. We enjoyed our delicious breakfasts and snacks left out for us daily. Southern hospitality can be found here.

I highly recommend this B & B. Everything about our stay was exceptional. We hope to return again. The breakfast was delicious with a new menu each day, our room was clean and comfortable, the lodge was beautiful, and most importantly the hosts and staff were very accommodating and kind. My husband and I loved everything about our visit.

This special Lodge surrounded by woods was exactly what we were looking for. Despite our far too short stay, we thoroughly enjoyed the hospitality of Doug and Jody. Our hosts have done everything right to make this B&B first class in every way. We look forward to returning some day.

Everything was absolutely perfect! The breakfast was delicious, the room was clean, and just the right size and location. We loved the access to the back deck! Doug and the rest of the staff truly made us feel comfortable and welcome. My husband and I would recommend Bent Creek to anyone!
This is one of our most romantic rooms. It is on the east end of the second floor and has a back door to the upstairs balcony and mountain views beyond. It features a queen size bed that Doug made from locust logs cut from the property. It is decorated with photos, etchings and pottery of local wildflowers, many of which can be found blooming around the lodge. Snuggle into the sensually soft sheets, look around and you feel like you are surrounded by the forest and flowers. The extra-large bath has a luxurious two person whirlpool tub, with a shower. The custom, granite top vanity has plenty of room for all your travel necessities.
