This special Lodge surrounded by woods was exactly what we were looking for. Despite our far too short stay, we thoroughly enjoyed the hospitality of Doug and Jody. Our hosts have done everything right to make this B&B first class in every way. We look forward to returning some day.

Everything was absolutely perfect! The breakfast was delicious, the room was clean, and just the right size and location. We loved the access to the back deck! Doug and the rest of the staff truly made us feel comfortable and welcome. My husband and I would recommend Bent Creek to anyone!

Serene setting, warm and welcoming staff, exceptional service, all within easy access of Asheville and surrounding towns. Breakfasts were delicious and featured local fruits and vegetables, meats and baked goods. The lodge and landscape are simply beautiful and well maintained; a testament to the love and energy of the owners and staff. I was there for a week and will certainly return again.

This was our first ever bed and breakfast and we fell in love with it. The first day I saw a fawn behind the building. The breakfast were AMAZING. The Granola is to die for. The room was super clean and we were in a great location near Brevard. The owner was very helpful with any plans we had. He would show us the map and suggest where the good hiking or outdoor activities were. Will definitely return!!

We stayed at the Bent Creek Lodge for our first anniversary celebration. We had tickets for the Candlelight Christmas Tour at Biltmore House while we were there. We had a great time! Lisa was especially helpful to us in suggesting restaurants and shopping. We would like to return in the spring!

This was one of the best places I've stayed on vacation. Quiet, clean, comfortable and beautiful. We loved sitting on the porch just relaxing and listening to the birds. I am a garden/flower lover and this was right up my ally. I've taken home a few ideas from your garden to use in my own. Rooms were definitely the cleanest I've been in and the breakfast was awesome. You both and your helpers were very welcoming and inviting. When we find ourselves back in your area we will definitely book a few nights at your lodge. Thanks

I highly recommend the Bent Creek Lodge! We had a wonderful stay in November and are already planning our next visit there. The breakfasts were delicious and the view was lovely. It was nice to be near downtown Asheville and still enjoy nature.
This is one of our most romantic rooms. It is on the east end of the second floor and has a back door to the upstairs balcony and mountain views beyond. It features a queen size bed that Doug made from locust logs cut from the property. It is decorated with photos, etchings and pottery of local wildflowers, many of which can be found blooming around the lodge. Snuggle into the sensually soft sheets, look around and you feel like you are surrounded by the forest and flowers. The extra-large bath has a luxurious two person whirlpool tub, with a shower. The custom, granite top vanity has plenty of room for all your travel necessities.
You almost smell the salt water as you enter the Outer Banks Room. The shells, weathered wood, & pictures give this room an authentic feel of the North Carolina coast. It has an antique, wrought iron, full size bed. The ceramic tile bath with a combination tub & shower has a large, custom vanity for all your bath items. It has a back door to the upstairs balcony and mountain views beyond and is adjacent to the Wildflower room and the Bird Room.
The Bird Room was inspired by our many feathered friends that nest on the property and visit our feeder. It is filled with houses and photos of our native birds with binocs close by. It has a back door to the upstairs balcony, where you can view the birds at the feeders in the gardens below as well as the mountains beyond. Closely check out the quilt hanging on the wall, it even has little bike patterns, what a find. The ceramic tile bath has a combination tub & shower. It is adjacent to the Water Room and the Bird Room.
The Water Room was inspired by the waterfalls, rivers and streams we love in this area. The blue accent wall behind the Heart Pine trestle bed makes you feel like you are resting beside the water after a day of fishing or canoeing.
