About

Secluded historic adobe pueblo compound nestled quietly in downtown Santa Fe! This 157+ yr old enchanting Old Santa Fe estate is tastefully preserved and boasts private courtyards, large shade trees, an authentic Indian horno oven, 19 comfortable guest rooms, free parking ($35 value) and an abundance of "True Santa Fe Romance". Excellent downtown location- walk to plaza, Canyon Rd, Rail yard, shopping, restaurants, museums, etc. Warm, welcoming, pofessional staff- celebrating 32+ yrs of award winning service and serving our famous "Pueblo Breakfast Tamale" and secret family recipe "Green Chile Chicken Stew"! Guest Reviews state: "We have been visiting Santa Fe two or more times a year for the past thirty years and have stayed in almost every hotel, motel, and B&B near the Plaza and a few on Cerrillos Road. In the past few years, we finally discovered Pueblo Bonito with it's charming grounds, rooms, and owners, and have stayed in no other location since. The rooms and the breakfast are excellent and make for a relaxing experience that bears repeating. This beautiful B&B provides everything that you need for a restful get away, is within a short walking distance to the Plaza, and is equally convenient to the shops and restaurants in the Guadalupe area. We also appreciate the cleanliness and great service provided by the housekeeping staff. Truly a great experience and a great value" (bedandbreakfast review 2/14)

Wonderful Santa Fe Getaway

4.0 on January 26, 2017

This is a wonderful and charming BnB that is in a great location. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to, including the plaza, even in the winter while it was snowing. It is close to many restaurants as well as the Farmer's Market. There is free parking and everyone is very nice and welcoming. We were able to chat with one of the owner's at breakfast and everyone was very helpful. They have a wide variety of items for breakfast that will suit everyone. I have a few dietary restrictions and I didn't have a problem. There were signs for gluten free and dairy free alternative as well. In addition, they had delicious unique to the area items such as green chile stew and tamales, which were all fantastic. The rooms were clean and comfortable and it is neat that you can light the kiba's/fire places on your own if you'd like.

Innkeeper Response

It's important to us that you found your accomodations wonderful and charming- so thank you! Our location is prime and we're glad you appreciate the convenience to all the nearby historic sites, farmers market, restaurants, galleries, shops and many world class museums. Adorable Bed and Breakfast in the heart of Santa Fe

5 on January 05, 2017

We booked this suite due to the location and fireplace in the room. I was pleasantly surprised at the price and central location. It is literally a five minute walk from the plaza. The hostess greater us with warmth and even brought us to our room. She was sweet and very helpful. The room itself was charming with unique touches and accents. Old world feel with the benefits of wifi and cable tv. We didn't make it to the breakfast but heard amazing things about the tamales from other guests. I would highly recommend this gem in Santa Fe.

Innkeeper Response
Thank you for your kind words! We sincerely appreciate the opportunity to serve you and share our unique and distinctively historic 156 yr old adobe pueblo-style inn with you. We glad to know you appreciated the accommodations, hospitality and great value! Sorry you missed our famous breakfast tamales, but we hope you'll return for a future visit and give them a try! Until then- Best Regards.

First time guests, but will definitely return. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Hosts treated guests like long time friends. Would not hesitate to recommend to family and friends.

Innkeeper Response
Thank you for your kind comments! We appreciate knowing you received such a warm and sincere welcome if made you feel like family! We serve thousands of people yearly and many become quiet attached to us- and us to them! After 32 years of consistent inn keeping, greeting and meeting guests daily, assisting them with their daily plans, etc. Herb & I (Owners) have been known to become quite attached to guests. It's a huge compliment when guests become attached to us too and your recommendations to family and friends are much appreciated. We look forward to a future visit, but in the meantime, our best to you and yours!

Had a wonderful long weekend in Santa Fe. So glad we chose Pueblo Bonita and how neat that it is family owned and operated. Such wonderful service from the moment we checked in to the time we left. Great room and delicious breakfasts! It also was a super convenient location - we literally parked our car at the B & B and walked everywhere we wanted to go, all over old town Santa Fe the whole weekend. Would definitely recommend!

Pueblo Bonito Bed & Breakfast, Santa Fe, NM

We spent time in Santa Fe in March, 2016. We enjoyed the Pueblo Bonita very much. The owners went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful. The property is located in a great place to start a walking tour to get to the Plaza. We enjoyed visiting Santa Fe for that reason. The room we had was comfortable and very clean. We felt at home and it was a quiet spot. We would highly recommend a stay here. ¿¿¿¿¿¿

About the innkeepers

Pueblo Bonito property was acquired by my family in 1970 as an investment. Run as starving artists for 16 years by Amy's parents, in 1986- Amy & Herb took over creating the vision of Pueblo Bonito b&b. "The property is so amazingly beautiful and boasts 165 yrs of history, we just knew there was more to it than apartments- We didn't know we'd be here for 31 years! But it's been good and we feel we've made a difference in guests lives- that's what we're here for!", explains Amy.
