We enjoyed our stay. The hotel was very cute and in a nice part of town-sounded by small lakes. Would stay again.

This is our 3rd year staying here and it is perfect as always. If you like everything squeaky clean and new, this is not necessarily your place. It is a historic beautiful boutique hotel that has all the creakyness of your favorite old auntie! We always stay in Rm 2 that has a bedroom and a living room with a pull out sofa for the kids and a private porch to have those wonderful cocktail hours with friends and family (weather permitting!) Tobi, the new manager is a delight and will jump through hoops to make sure your stay is comfortable. Will be back again. - Lisa V

I've been to the Wellington several times and have always been very pleased This particular time there was no hot water. How can you take a shower without hot water??? I heard another guest complaining about it also, so it must have been the whole hotel. This definitely should be fixed before taking any reservations!!
Thank you for reviewing us. I'm glad that you are usually pleased. We do apologize about the hot water issue as we do not know when it occurred. For one night the hot water did stop working on our East wing. One guest alerted me at 10PM. I offered showers and rooms with hot water on our West Wing to all guests afflicted by this. It was fixed by 8:30AM the next morning. We do always strive for a hasty response or alternative solutions for all guests as we always want them to be accommodated and comfortable.

Beautiful B & B. They should consider serving a breakfast buffet or hot breakfast.
Thank you for reviewing us. We would love to serve a hot breakfast, but unfortunately we don't have a kitchen to make a hot breakfast. We try our best to give variety with our continental breakfast though. I hope the rest of your stay was enjoyable.

The service was wonderful and every employee we met was sweet, helpful and accommodating. The room needs a remodel. The shade was on the floor and missing from the other window. The carpet is ready for replacement and there was a broken frame in the room. We had a wonderful stay.

This hotel is lovely! It was recommended to me by a customer. Very clean, beautifully decorated for the holidays, great furniture and assessories, rooms warm, including bathroom. Very close walk to Boardwalk. Both hotel staff I spoke with were friendly and helpful. The only criticism I have is with breakfast - it is continental, which is fine, but I would have expected a bit more variety, a bit nicer presentation, and the pastries weren't warmed. I think there was a microwave to warm the pastries (though) and some pre-wrapped breakfast sandwiches. This may be due to off-season. Everything was tasty, though. I would suggest some more thoughtful consideration to more protein and gluten-free options.

Nothing special in the way the room was decorated or furnished. (room 10) Some electrical plugs in the room did not work well. The small "dorm room" refrigerator was quite noisy. The room was not cleaned up for two days. Most of the staff was very pleasant and friendly. Noise traveled easily between rooms through the old air ducts. Wonderful restaurant on site.
