Next town over from Spring Lake, Sea Girt or Point Pleasant, but a lot more fun. Make us your fashionable Jersey Shore address! "Finally, a great place to stay!," says one TripAdvisor review. "Exquisite...definitely a five-star," says another. Its Nantucket-style architecture, residential feel and quality furnishings are a departure from outdated accommodations in the area. Walk around village shops, restaurants, theatre or street fairs. Walk or bicycle to beach.

This was our second time at The Inn on Main and it was again a perfect choice of a place to stay in the area. The location can't be beat - close to everything we needed. We were visiting family so we did not use the onsite restaurants - all meals were home prepared and with family. Our room was spacious and very pleasant and the housekeeping staff kept it very nicely - no complaints. We will return.
Many thanks for your business and feedback.

The room was great really enjoyed our return to Manasquan. We will return in the future. This is not a B&B however. Two nice restaurants downstairs.

Very easy check in and out just a key pad. Extremely nice room. Very clean. We would definitely go back again. A very nice place to stay.
We also have extremely nice clientele. Thank you for your comments which I shall share with staff.

The room was outstanding and very spacious. The bed was very comfortable and would have enjoyed staying a few more days. The location was perfect and the town is filled with friendly people and shops that have unique items. I truly enjoyed the stay and the outdoor area on the balcony was large. I will definitely stay again when in the area. The parking was perfect in the back and the self check in and out went smoothly. I would highly recommend the Inn on Main.
I have been a long-time convert to Manasquan. I lived in Manhattan for many years and your account of the town is what made me own this little gem of an Inn. Many thanks for your business.

I am local to the Inn, but was looking for an escape and the Inn on Main fit the bill. Room 305 was just beautiful! An immaculate large, bright room, with a fireplace. The central location in town, as well as the delicious restaurant on the first floor are bonuses! Highly recommend!
You are so lucky to be a local resident. Manasquan has everything in good scale to it!

When we come to Manasquan, the only place we stay is at the Inn on Main! The rooms are gorgeous and very modern! So clean! Not afraid to be in your bare feet! It is very quite and the balcony and fireplaces just finish it off. If you have never stayed here before, you must try it! You will then be hooked for life! Susan
Dear Susan, we constantly update the rooms and are careful not to clutter it. It is as much a winter place as it is a summer place. As you said, the fireplaces "finish it off." Thanks for sharing your feedback.

This was a quick stop to visit family during a business trip. The location is great, close to the shops and restaurants. It's a little spooky to check in with no one there (you receive a key code via email) and the elevator is out of the way (between the two restaurants) but the rooms are well appointed and I appreciated that they put water in the fridge for you and each room I've stayed in has a fireplace.
We have practiced self-check in since 2009 and many guests love the no-fuzz procedure. "Spooky" is not really a helpful description. The elevator is mere steps from the entrance, but your description makes it sound much further. Thanks for your business and the overall good rating.

The room was gorgeous and beautifully decorated, but it was FREEZING! Thankfully, we had a fireplace to help because the heat was all but non-existent. Fortunately, we only slept in the room and didn't spend any significant time there because it never really warmed up. When I went downstairs to speak to someone, I was told that the staff was only for the restaurants and that if I needed help with the rooms, I needed to call a phone number. So, the fact that there is no one on site to help was a bit disappointing. Considering the fact that I spent a lot in early March for a freezing room I stayed in for less than 7 hours - I didn't feel was worth it.
This customer did not book via bedandbreakfast.com but posts her review here. That is alright with us. However, this very same posting was emailed to me on March 21, this post is on March 9 and the stay is on March 4. We promote the Inn as a limited-service operation with staff until about 3 pm-4pm. This description is on our website or as we have been reviewed in other websites. Below is our response to her. "Dear Ms. Miller, Sorry that you had a cold room which we could have rectified immediately had you called. I was in the room next to yours, Room 303, that evening and our rooms share the same heating line. I beg to disagree with you with regard to displaying our main phone number - it is prominently displayed in the hallways and in the elevator, as you said. There are also 2 informational laminated sheets in your room (I checked before I wrote this response that they were there), one with our area restaurant recommendations and the other, the hotel's phone and internet information as well as Rules of the Inn. You could also have emailed us as you have done many times in the past or re-read our confirmation to you which also contained our main phone number. I do take offense to your minimizing and downplaying the quality of our Inn. We receive many compliments. In the 7 years we have operated the hotel, you are the first guest who did not find our phone number, which is covered 24 hours, seven days a week. On the matter of the additional person, we communicated the charge ahead of time and if you were in disagreement, could have easily cancelled your booking.Notwithstanding the above, we will refund you the extra person charge ($72.72) as a gesture of goodwill."

The room was beautiful, fully automated... like something you would imagine in the Jetsons. You make your reservation online, you are given a code to your room and you arrive, key into your room and never see a human face. All instructions are provided on a laminated page. If you need help, a less than eager voice will answer a phone number provided but for the most part, you are on your own.
Glad you liked the room. We hope we have done a good job on our website and our confirmation email describing the kind of hotel we are - boutique residential, private and limited service. We do not have a front desk (unnecessary we find for a 12-room inn); housekeeping typically leaves at 4 pm. Sorry about the sleepy phone answering. Yes, for the most part we cater to guests who are independent and prefer no fuss and chitchat during their stay. Most assuredly, we will answer the phone any time of day to assist. Thanks for your comments.
