A gem in Flemington!

I great up in Flemington, NJ and have always loved the Victorians on Main Street. When I came back to have a reception with my big family after my tiny "destination wedding", we decided to get ready and also spend the night here after the event. It was adorable, and I wish I had a few extra days to spend there. They really think through all of the tiny details and make the space gorgeous and welcoming for all kinds of people and couples. I highly recommend!!!

Perfect girls' weekend - or for a romantic stay!

This place was simply beautiful - so charming and elegant, we felt so welcomed. TIm and Marissa made us feel so special, and took such great care to be sure we had everything we needed for our girls' weekend of scrap-booking! The food was excellent, made from the freshest ingredients, by our hosts - and the breakfasts and afternoon treats were absolutely delicious. Can't wait to visit again - this place is perfect!

Scrapbook Weekend with Friends

Our group of friends spent the weekend at Main Street Manor to scrapbook and relax. Tim and Marissa are amazing hosts. From the time we arrived we all felt at home. The breakfast both days was a delicious creation of gourmet ingredients. In the afternoon we were served an afternoon tea made for royalty. The rooms are clean, comfortable and cozy. We will definitely visit again. Thanks Tim and Marissa for your wonderful hospitality.

I can't say enough positive things about Main Street Manor. The building is a beauty. The welcoming porch is attractive and cozy. Walk through the door into the Victorian era; you'll feel cares & stress fall away. The lovely parlor entices guests with a fireplace and soft music playing in the background. Rest and relax there with complimentary wine, refreshments from the pantry fridge, Keurig machine k-cups, and freshly baked cookies and cake. The dining room is inviting and homey, with old fashioned fabric placemats, china plates, cups, and saucers, and a vase filled with cheerful flowers. Breakfast is delectable and quite filling. There's a media room with books, magazines, and dvds. Upstairs the five guest rooms each have their own bathrooms & showers, color themes, and styles. Forget-Me-Not boasts a claw foot bathtub/shower combo. Thorough cleanliness and attention to detail is obvious everywhere you look. Owners/hosts Tim and Marissa were born to run a b&b. They sincerely care about their guests' satisfaction and happiness. They aim to please. What wonderful people. I promise, when the time comes to leave, you absolutely will not want to.

Great hosts. Beautiful rooms. Delicious food.

This place had it all. Tim, the owner, was friendly, helpful, pleasant, generous, and just a delightful guy. The rooms were absolutely beautiful, perhaps they may be a bit small for some, but I can't imagine it would bother anyone. The breakfast was delicious: oatmeal, sausages, fruit salad, french toast, coffee, juice.. served hot, fresh, and with subtle and intriguing flavors. Would definitely recommend and definitely return if we're in the area. Absolutely worth the price.

Excellent place to stay!!!!!

My first bed and breakfast place and I will have to say that I had an awesome time! Tim and Marissa (innkeepers) made our time even more memorable. They are such a lovely couple who radiate positive energy every time you speak to them. Marissa loves to bake, something I enjoyed at every possible opportunity (her cookies were sooo soft, they were addicting) and their food was phenomenal. Presentation and taste both. I was astonished by the meals they created and the fact that they catered to a person's preference. (If you have any dietary restrictions, just let them know) They are very familiar with the area and local events, so they were able to answer all the questions we had and even suggest other things to do during our visit. Everything about the home/inn was incredible. The theme of the home reminded me of an old school T.V. show. The rooms themselves were amazing, they always had water to drink in the rooms and we were always able to bring snacks up there. At one point Tim and Marissa joined my GF and I on a game of monopoly, which we enjoyed very much. At this point, Tim and I ended up talking about our time serving in the U.S. Navy. I was extremely excited to have found that he was a Navy Vet as well. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice, relaxing atmosphere with much to do around the area. The noise level around the area, is very low and there are wineries approx. 12-20 minutes away. The innkeepers are what truly made this place and our time special.

Perfect night away!

About the innkeepers

Marissa and Tim have been married and crazy “Inn” love for a bit more than 6 years now. Their dream has always been working together, creating a business that connects on a personal level with their customers and of a life where they could do the things they love with people they love. Tim & Marissa were married in England where Tim's relatives still live today + honeymooned in a bed and breakfast in the hillside of Italy, and and enjoyed taking cooking lessons there.

Signature Dish

Brie, Apple and Bacon Fritatta w / French Herbs
This flavorful and satisfying breakfast is a baked dish with eggs, creme, triple-creme brie, fuji apples and maple smoked bacon. The fresh combination of rosemary, thyme and marjoram are combined and added to the dish which is a delight to all senses! Even non-egg lovers go crazy over this dish. It is one of our favorites to prepare and serve to guests and is the most requested breakfasts by our returning guests!
