I recently spent a few days at the beautiful Eldredge House in West Cape May, NJ. The innkeeper, Todd, was amazing. He was so knowledgeable about the area and made many suggestions on where to eat, shop, hike, bird watch, wine taste, and beach it. Thanks to his help, I had a wonderful time...I never stopped smiling. The Eldredge house is a warm, cozy home that I was very comfortable in. I stayed in the Mary room and it was perfect for me. The gardens surrounding the home are beautiful with many peaceful sitting areas to enjoy. It was a short walk to the beach for the incredible Cove Beach sunsets. The meal certificates are a great idea and all the restaurants listed were wonderful. I hope to go back very soon!

This was our first trip to Cape May and our stay at The Eldredge House far exceeded our expectations. The Mary room was nicely decorated and the bed was very comfy. This best part of our stay was getting to know the Innkeeper Todd, who was friendly, kind and went out of his way to make our stay an experience to remember. He is very knowledgeable of the area and explained the best places to visit and restaurants to dine at. We also liked the fact that he gives breakfast certificates for breakfast each day at local restaurants and you can plan to eat at your discretion. Truly a wonderful stay.

I have never written a review before but had to do so after a weekend getaway at The Eldredge House. It was such a beautifully maintained home and Todd went above and beyond to make sure my husband and I had all our needs met. Todd was so very caring and had great knowledge of the local area. Meeting others in the area they all spoke highly of Todd as do my husband and I. Having suffered sprained ankles Todd was flexible, accommodating and more than willing to help in anyway possible. The room was beautiful and clean and we were beyond happy with the location, amenities, services, friendliness and welcome that we had. So much so by the end of the weekend I had begun to refer to The Eldredge House as home. We loved the breakfast vouchers that gave us flexibility and choices each morning to where we would like to go. We are definitely going to be coming back to The Eldredge House and would highly recommend it to anyone wanting the best getaway spot in Cape May with wonderful service. Kim K

We stayed at the Eldredge house a few weekends ago. We needed only one night and the Eldredge House is one of the few that offer one nights. Todd, the owner, is one of the friendliest and most accommodating innkeepers I have met. He allowed us early checkin and late checkout to accommodate our travel needs. The house is warm and inviting with a lot of character. Our room (The Hattie Room) was clean, comfy and cozy. The yard and gardens surrounding the house are beautiful, even in November. On site parking is provided also which is a plus in Cape May. I love the breakfast certificates that are used at the Eldredge. They allow you to go to one of a few participating restaurants for breakfast. You can sleep in and go when you want or even use for lunch or dinner. We went to Bella Veda right across the street and loved it. The Eldredge is a short walk from town and is perfectly located for a bit of privacy. I've stayed at many BandB's in Cape May and this one is now my favorite.
