Fantastic stay at Buttoned Inn

5 on May 21, 2018

We truly enjoyed our stay at this Inn with our little son. Rooms are very beautifully decorated with antique accents! Bill and Paula were very accommodating and provided great service. They are amazing hosts. We got delicious gourmet breakfast served everyday with evening tea and snacks( lots of tea flavours to choose from). Our stay was very comfortable and felt like home. It is a very well maintained extremely clean place! It was the best value for our money. If you are in New Hampshire would recommend to stay there. Our stay there was truly an experience of good hospitality, taste, and comfort.

A gem of a find! Breakfasts are fabulous! Highly reccommend!

BEST experience EVER!!!

5 on January 30, 2018

Upon arriving, Paula was the first to greet us with her pleasant demeanor while Bill was starting the fire. Within minutes Bill came and introduced himself and proceeded to show us around the inn and give us a little history as well. Once we were settled in our room (#2) which we found very comforting, we made our way downstairs to sit by the cozy fire that Bill had started upon our arrival. In this room we found a large flatscreen TV with endless amounts of DVDs to choose from if you wish along with books to read and plenty of games to play as well. This first night however we simply enjoyed sitting by the fire and waiting for the clock to strike 5 PM when Paula would put out what we would soon to know as the most delicious homemade treats! We made our way up to the dining area where we would find the homemade treats were put out, along with a number of tea choices to choose from and a pitcher of water. The following morning we woke up looking forward to breakfast which was served between 8:30 and 9:30. Needless to say we were not disappointed by Paula's breakfast. Paula made homemade banana and blueberry wheat pancakes with a side of her homemade sausage patties. Can you say delicious?!! After breakfast we set out on our snowmobiling adventure. When that was over both of us just couldn't wait to get back home, (to the inn) take a shower, eat Paula's treats and sit by the fire. Yes, we did just that and once again, we were so relaxed! The next morning we unfortunately had to depart but that's not before having another homemade breakfast by Paula which again my husband had no problem eating. We were served a delicious morning glory muffin (amazing) and a vegetable frittata. Shortly after finishing our breakfast we had to say our goodbyes and get on the road. Will we be back? ABSOLUTELY!!!!! We are already planning our next trip! See you soon Bill and Paula!

Attention to details!! Thumbs up

I wanted to do something for my sister's birthday. I decided to take her on a Murder Mystery Train ride. While looking for an Inn I saw Bottonwood Inn. I have stayed at alot of Inn's but never one like this one. The owners Bill & Paula make you feel like you are at home. Homemade breakfast ever morning along with an orientation on things to do in the area. Everyday at 5 was tea time and a homade dessert. We plan on going back next year. If you are looking for a lace to stay this is the inn to stay in.Bottonwood Inn.

A great place to stay in North Conway!

My wife and I stayed at Buttonwood Inn for three nights and found it to be a well run, friendly and welcoming B&B. Great attention to detail and very comfortable rooms and communal areas. Breakfast was just perfect to set you up for the day. The only slight downside is that the location was a little out of town, meaning that it may not suit those travellers without a car. On the plus, it was so peaceful!

Lovely Bed & Breakfast

We stayed for just a weekend but it was superb - from our arrival to our departure. The room was immaculate and cozy. We used the gas fireplace and the Jacuzzi. Paula's breakfasts were delicious and filling. Bill was a wonderful host - full of information on the area. We will definitely return and would recommend this inn to anyone traveling to NH!

We had a great 3 night stay at this lovely B and B. Bill and Paula, the Innkeepers, were very helpful with information on the area and made our stay very comfortable. Paula is a wonderful cook and the breakfasts were delicious. We look forward to going back in the future!

Wonderful people, rooms, and food!

The food was amazing! I was asked upon arrival for dietary restrictions and Paula, who is a chef, adapted everything to be gluten free and delicious for me! I appreciated this so much! Rooms were also so clean and comfortable and games and movies were available for no additional charge! Beautiful and would absolutely recommend!

Great Week-end!

Everything at the Buttonwood was incredible: friendliness, cleanliness, thoughtfulness; delicious breakfasts, accommodating my vegan wishes with seeming ease and variety; great amenities (individual heat/cooling adjustments; soap dispenser in the shower) ~ they thought of everything! This was a nostalgic trip for me ~ close childhood ties to Mt. Surprise and the area. I came away from a trip down memory lane with very happy memories!

A perfect choice for a peaceful stay and amazing food!

This was our second stay at the Buttonwood, and it certainly won't be our last. The Inn came highly recommended from multiple friends who live in the North Conway area and everything they told us was absolutely right. Bill and Paula are lovely innkeepers, the inn is spotless, the gourmet breakfasts and afternoon treats are delicious, and the rooms are beautifully appointed and comfortable! The Inn has lots to offer on its grounds including an inground pool, hot tub, fire pit, adirondack chairs throughout, and a beautiful front porch for relaxing and listening to the birds chirping. The location is great too! Close enough to the downtown area, but still off the beaten path to allow for a tranquil, quiet, peaceful stay. Can't wait to return!

About the innkeepers

Bill and I both worked in the corporate world in New Jersey. Bill was an industrial engineer by training and managed staff in production plants and retail product facilities. I went to cooking school to become a chef and also obtained a degree in food service management. I worked in hospitality and took a detour for a time, working in the pharmaceutical industry as a marketing analyst. During those years working in corporations, I yearned to get back to my passion of cuisine and food preparation
