Happy Days

4.8 on February 24, 2018

2/18,19 /2018 First time staying at an Inn: After booking the room for a couple days I got a call from Sheila asking me many questions as to my comfort and food/health requirements. After asking in amazement as to why all this data is needed the reply was “I want your stay here to be the best experience you ever had” Who does this? Bill + Sheila greeted us and gave us the tour. In the morning Bill is busy cooking an earthy crunchy health food breakfast that is amazingly delicious. I would highly recommend the oatmeal bake. (Very good) Staying at coppertoppe was just like staying at your brother or sisters house where they love and care for you. We woke in the morning went down stairs to a beautiful panoramic view of a pristine lake and forest. I was mesmerize and mellowed the whole time looking at the view. I've missed out not staying in Inn's more often but I doubt they all pay attention to detail as much as this one......Enjoy. AL + Carol Hebert

Innkeeper Response

A Hidden Gem

5 on January 08, 2018

We certainly felt spoiled by Sheila and Bill! They went out of their way to find out our food preferences and we certainly enjoyed the daily breakfast that they prepared! The view of the lake was absolutely gorgeous! The location is fantastic and our skiers skied three different mountains that were nearby. It was great that we were able to bring our dog and Sheila and Bill watched her while we headed out for dinner. We truly were welcomed by Sheila and Bill and look forward to returning!

We were there for a family reunion. Sheila & Bill were great hosts. Accommodations were fantastic! They had everything you could think of to make it pleasant.

Innkeeper Response
Thank you for taking time to post a review. We appreciate all the feedback from guests and suggestions are precious. We have not thought of all the amenities and conveniences by ourselves. Over the years, we have asked our guests for ideas and they have come through with many details. If you think of anything else we can do to make your next visit more comfortable, please tell us!

Bill and Sheila went above and beyond expectations to ensure that our elopement was everything we were hoping to experience. The flowers, the ceremony, the cake, the wine, arranging for our massages. Every detail was attended to with the utmost care and consideration of our likes and wishes. Our dogs were included in everything as well. Bill and Sheila provided us with information regarding the surrounding areas with activities to do, places to visit (or not visit). I really wish we booked more time there. They definitely make you feel as thought you are a friend and not a customer. We highly recommend a visit to CopperToppe for any type of get-away be it romantic or for relaxation, you get BOTH!

Innkeeper Response
Thank you for putting details in your review. It was an honor and a joy to help make your special day wonderful. Thanks for bringing lovable dogs, too. You are a beautiful couple and we wish you all the best. Same time next year?

Best Place to Stay near Bristol NH

Awesome spot, run by truly great people. Food is great, snacks are awesome. We've stayed here 4 times now and every time we are so glad we did. The views are incredible. The nearby activities are great, but even just sitting in the room or on the balcony are worth the trip!

Innkeeper Response
We love that you enjoy the food and amenities as well as many of the activities in our area. Thank you for sharing about that. Enjoy the warm, spring weather and come back soon.

This property is so fantastic! I live in the city and I had a moment where I finally let my ears relax and all I heard was the rustle of the branches and an occasional bird. That experience is usually accompanied by sleeping in a tent, but luckily Sheila and Bill have created this cozy and clean oasis away from it all. Oh yeah, and Bill cooks an outstanding breakfast too.

Innkeeper Response
We are hearing a lot more birds already, as they know it is spring even if it snows. The robins are mobbing the garden, but quietly. It is wonderful that you were able to take the time away to relax and get centered. Thank you for sharing your experience. Have a beautiful spring wherever you go.

Wonderful Romantic Weekend

5 on February 22, 2017

My girlfriend and I had an amazing time at The Coppertoppe Inn and Retreat. Sheila and Bill were great hosts and provided everything we needed for a relaxing and romantic weekend. The location was perfect with a breathtaking view of Newfound Lake and only minutes away from some great restaurants. We also headed up to Lincoln and visited the Ice Castles, an attraction we have been wanting to visit all winter. We definitely plan on returning this summer with the dogs!

Innkeeper Response
It was wonderful that your timing was just right for the Ice Castles and for visiting the White Mountains. A week later it was slush. Thanks for taking time to write about your experience. We look forward to meeting the dogs!
