My wife and I decided to celebrate our 1st Wedding Anniversary in Southampton and we chose A Butler's Manor due to previous reviews. In person, this place was visually stunning, with an amazing decor and a comfortable atmosphere. Chris was a gracious host and tended to our every need during our one-night stay. He greeted us with a smile and offered us glasses of champagne to celebrate our arrival. Their outdoor garden is something to behold, with an outdoor swimming pool and a variety of flowers. Homemade chocolate chip cookies were available outside our bedroom with a varied selection of teas, hot chocolate, and hot coffee. After a busy day in Montauk and a charming dinner at the nearby Plaza Cafe, we settled by the fireplace and partook in their large book collection with glasses of wine in our hands. The Oak Knoll, our room, was endearing, albeit a bit small, with a high ceiling, antique drawers, and modern facilities. A TV/DVD player and charging station was supplied and the bathroom was outfit with bathrobes and all the toiletries needed for a comfortable shower. There were also packaged cookies, water bottles and a small bottle of sherry on the table to help us wind down for the night. After a comfortable rest, the morning after, Chris made us banana stuffed french toast in the morning, complete with freshly baked muffins and a variety of juices. My wife and I were pleasantly surprised when he started asking us about how we met, and our conversation went on as we reminisced like we were old friends. All in all, I wish we could give A Butler's Manor more than 5 stars because it deserves so much more than that for the exemplary service and amicable attitude. So we give 10 stars to A Butler's Manor, and we can't recommend it highly enough, especially if you are looking for an amazing respite from your busy life. And thank you again Chris, for everything. We are sure to return again in the near future.
Many thanks for spending your One Year anniversary with us and thank you for such a great review. It is our pleasure to help our guests relax and enjoy the Hamptons and to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city for a while. Next time you come visit we will have to persuade Raina to play a few songs as well :-) Happy anniversary to you both and all the best till we see you later this year.

Upon our arrival we were greeted outside by a very sweet, helpful and informative Chris, which after the car ride we had, was so refreshing! We were taken inside to this beautiful home where Chris introduced us to Kim. We were shown the dining area, the garden and then to our room, which was absolutely amazing, I fell in love with the decor alone the comfort was the plus! Honestly they both go above and beyond for everyone who stays there, there isn't anything they haven't thought of to bring you all the comforts of home and more. Kim's cooking would make anyone want to stay, from her well put together meals to all the feshly baked cookies which my Fiance' looked forward to eveytime we came back to the manor! There is so much more Adam & I could say though I will keep it to this one last thing, I can't wait to find another excuse to head to New York just so we could stay here at a Butler's Manor again! And a great big thank you to Chris and Kim you made a very stressed girl feel calmer than any ocean! -Kathleen

My husband and I stayed at A Butler's Manor to celebrate our anniversary in September 2017. Our stay really exceeded our expectations and we will likely see Chris and Kim again. Having never been to the Hamptons and having only been to one B&B before, we set our expectations high based on the price, but they exceeded every expectation. It is clear that they take pride in their business and are satisfied when their guests are happy. About 5 days before our stay, we received a personal message saying that they were preparing for our stay and asking if we had any dietary restrictions or preferences. Meals were delicious and it was very clear that they selected and prepared fresh meals based on what we told them. When we came down for breakfast we never waited more than a minute to be greeted and offered fresh coffeee, tea, juice and food was served promptly and in an elegant manner. Rooms are a little small, but that should be expected given the age of the manor. Rooms were beautifully decorated, spotless, and the owners have placed everything possible to make your stay wonderful in the room (robes, maps, suggestions of activities, courtesy beach bag and towels to use during your stay). They even surprised us with a bottle of champagne and flowers from the garden to celebrate our special occasion. We were also pleasantly surprised that we liked one of the other couples we met over breakfast. They were friendly and shared that it was their 17th stay!!!

From the moment we drove up to the house we knew we had chosen well. Met by Chris who was the perfect host - as you would expect from an English butler! The bedroom had every possible amenity including earplugs !! Fresh flowers from The garden and a glass of sherry was waiting for us. The bedsheets were like satin and such a comfortable bed. We couldn't wait to see what Kim had prepared for breakfast each morning as her cooking skills were incredible and her inventiveness was always deliciously surprising. Can't thank Chris and Kim enough for making our stay so enjoyable.

From the moment we entered the house wth our personal code, we were delighted. A bowl of chocolates in the hallway, a lovely carafe with sherry on the desk and m&m chocolate cookies were waiting for us. Since we arrived around 11:30 pm, we did not expect this kind of welcome. This was only exceeded by the comfortable room and amazing sheets. Our first breakfast was beyond expectations! We ate in a beautiful backyard surrounded by purple hydrangea. We drank our juice from crystal goblets and ate fresh fruit which was followed by avocado toast with eggs of our choice. I can go on and on to describe Kim and Chris and their warm hospitality. They love what they do and it is evident. We will definitely go back!

The room was very comfortable, the breakfast delectable. More than that, the many small touches - not to mention the gorgeous gardens - make this place really special. Chris and Kim are fantastic hosts, very friendly, making us feel very much at home, and happy to provide excellent advice on things to do while we stayed there. Cannot recommend A Butler's Manor enough!

We just got back from our visit to A Butler's Manor...we really didn't want to leave! Kim and Chris go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and taken care of. We were there for a special anniversary getaway, and they greeted us with a celebratory drink and flowers in our room. The room was spotless and luxurious with one of those beds made up in such a manner that you never want to get out! But when we did, there was coffee outside our door and breakfast downstairs in the most amazing garden with huge flowers and a fountain ... breathtaking! The food was delicious and plentiful. They even shuttled us to the beach and provided us with chairs towels and everything! We cannot wait to go back.

My wife and I spent two wonderful days and nights at this outstanding B&B. And everything, from the warmth of our gracious hosts, Kim and Chris, to the clean cozy rooms, to the service which included coffee left outside our rooms in the morning to a delicious gourmet breakfast, served out doors on the patio, to the wine in the early evening, and the drop off and pick up service to the beach, was beyond our expectations! We will return!! I highly recommend A Butlers Manor to anyone looking for a fantastic romantic getaway.

We arrived late (even though they had ket us know our room was ready early in the day) and immediately regretted our decision! Chris met us at our car and carried our bags to our room while Kim offered us refreshments... They were so helpful and engaging with information we wish we had received earlier in the day. The room was comfortable, clean, and quiet. We wished we had factored in some down time to enjoy the comfortable common area and backyard amenities. We hope to return soon and use this location as our base to explore the Hamptons! Chris and Kim have great stories to tell, scrumptious food to enjoy, and made us as comfortable as any B&B we've used. Well done!!! M&B (6/5/17)
Many thanks for your great review. It was our pleasure to have you both stay and we wish it could have been longer as well. But, now you have a good reason to come back and explore more of what the Hamptons has to offer :-) So until then, all the best and thank you again.
