Perfect Stay in a Lovely B and B

5 on December 27, 2017

We had a perfect weekend in this historic, lovely inn. The staff was super friendly and knowledgeable, and every detail was perfect. From the rooms, to the breakfast, to the cookies and coffee - we enjoyed every aspect of our stay. The location is very convenient - close to the city and near tons of hikes, activities, farms, and restaurants. Highly recommended!!!

Innkeeper Response

Quiet Getaway to West Point

The innkeeper, Jen was quite knowledgeable and gave us a great tour of the property and the room. Very helpful with food suggestions for dinner and for the brotherhood winery. Room was over sized! Great decor!

overnight stay at B&B

4.8 on December 20, 2017

I stayed for 1 night at Cromwell Manor and clearly wished that my stay could have been extended. The staff were welcoming and helpful, answered all questions and provided some historical details about the house. I had no complaints w/the room, bath or heat. Breakfast was filling and covered all food groups, the dining area was spacious and had a beautiful view. The other guests with whom we spoke at breakfast were also enjoying their time there. The property abuts The Jones Farm. The staff shared how the properties were once related and pointed out that we could cut across the short field or drive. It's a working farm w/a great "General Store" that includes homemade goodies, a café and seasonal vegetables/ cheeses. Upstairs is for serious shopping. Overall, the experience was very positive and I would encourage others to check it out.

Innkeeper Response
Thank you so much for a lovely and detailed review. I'm glad to hear you had a great time and that my staff was so informative. We like sharing with our guests the rich history of the area and the great little local hot spots. I'm sure we will be seeing you soon.

Best place to stay for a West Point reunion weekend

4.0 on October 22, 2017

Close enough to West Point, but not right on it. Went through most of a bottle of the good stuff in the breakfast room with my Yuck roommate following the homecoming football game. Good breakfast meals. Very nice grounds.

Innkeeper Response
Thanks for staying with us, we love all our West Point supporters. See you next season.

2 Outstanding Breakfasts

5 on September 03, 2017

I was in town for business and decided to stay at Cromwell Manor instead of a hotel. It had the feel of a touch of home-away-from-home. Lots of space to enjoy the beautiful location. One evening I sat at a desk in the living room working on my computer, which was located right in front of a nice window so I could enjoy the view whilst working. Another evening I sat on the front porch on a rocking chair eating ice cream. The room was charming and the breakfast was the best I've had anywhere. The breakfasts evem surpassed any cruise ship I've been on. Wonderful staff that is always accessible yet seem to be invisible when it comes to respecting your privacy. Highly recommend.

Innkeeper Response
Thank you so much for writing such a lovely review. It was a pleasure to have you stay with us. We would love to have you stay with us again. Enjoy your summer.
