Bella Rose Bed & Breakfast

290 N. Main St. , Canandaigua, NY 14424 USA (Show map)

Built in 1895, this historic Victorian B&B has been totally restored to its original glory by its current owners. Original stained glass windows, an ornate oak staircase and paneled chimney are just some of special features in this Finger Lakes B&B. Three guest rooms, all with private baths, are thoughtfully and tastefully decorated with Victorian touches, but have all the modern amenities guests want and need such as air jetted tubs, fireplaces, central a/c, cable HDTV, DVD/CD. Located in the historic district, shops, attractions, restaurants, and Canandaigua Lake are a short walk away. A scrumptious three-course breakfast is served daily.

Extremely comfortable and relaxing

5 on January 05, 2017

My wife and I enjoyed one of Bella Rose's rooms for an overnight getaway, and everything about the experience was top notch, from the comfort of the rooms to the helpfulness of the hosts. The closest I can come to a complaint is that there were an awful lot of pillows on the bed to remove when it was time to go to sleep.

Innkeeper Response
There is a bit a fluff at our B&B ;) Thanks for bearing up under the arduous pillowy conditions and taking the time to write a review. Rob and Jill

Great place to stay an outstanding breakfast!

5 on October 26, 2016

Came for a one-night get away for an anniversary. Jill warmly welcomed us upon arrival and gave us all the information we could dream of about the area. Breakfast was really outstanding. multiple courses, juice, tea, coffee, homemade cranberry scones, yogurt parfait and some sort of frittata wrapped in a puff-pastry. I was so stuffed and sated. Rooms were great and very clean. I highly recommend the Bella Rose if you find yourself in Canandaigua.

Innkeeper Response
Love, love to cook, and we enjoy sharing the multitude of activities in our region! Thank you for staying at Bella Rose and taking the time to share your thoughts with others!

Clean, comfortable, yummy.

Rob and Jill were great hosts throughout our stay. The food was excellent and not your standard fare. The Victorian house has been beautifully restored and our room was both comfortable and extremely clean. The entire home was spotless. Great stay, we highly recommend Bella Rose to anyone visiting the finger lake region. Huntsville, Alabama couple

My wife and I had very nice time in a beautifully quaint B&B. Great host. Accommodations were spot on. Best sleep I've had in awhile. We will return. Thank you Bella Rose, you've switched me from being a hotel junkie now to a B&B junkie.

Outstanding B & B

We stayed at Bella Rose for 5 days always feeling that our room would be welcoming after a long day of adventures. Rob and Jill made us feel like we had a home away from home. Our breakfasts were so good that we always started our day with a smile.

Innkeeper Response
It's important to smile! Thank you for your kind words; it was our pleasure to have you.

Bella Rose was the perfect getaway for my husband and I. The house and rooms were lovely. Jill and Rob were super helpful with planning our daytime adventures. They recommended several great hikes and restaurants and we had a wonderful time. Breakfast was out of this world. Just delicious! We'd definitely go back!
