Rugby Gardens is a jewel!

4.0 on November 14, 2009

We stayed in Rugby Gardens for 4 days in October 2009. The home is very lovely, and Sue couldn't be a more gracious hostess. It's very quiet, and approximately 2 minutes walking distance from the subway. This will be the first place I will check for availability the next time I come to New York!

We were thrilled to stay at such a homey, convenient and pleasant bed and breakfast right in the heart of a Brooklyn neighborhood, Victorian Flatbush. Sitting on the porch swing late at night was a highlight. Breakfast was superb.

We enjoyed very much our stay at Rugby Gardens. A comfortable and quiet place to rest after days full of activity. The rooms were great and we enjoyed the breakfast and chats with Sue and Michael. We can only recommend Rugby Gardens to New York visitors.

The Rugby Gardens is the most welcoming and comfortable B&B we have ever stayed in, it was more like staying at my aunt's house (no offence Sue, I'm only 24)!!!! I would recommend this B&B a thousand times over! The breakfast is brilliant, I thought you couldnt get a cup of tea and a chat in the morning in NY!

Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful

I so enjoyed my stay at Rugby Gardens. Sue and Michael are so welcoming and the house is gorgeous-- very cozy and eclectic. I stay here whenever I am in Brooklyn!
