About

Experience old Santa Fe charm in this 200 year-old adobe B&B Inn located in the historic downtown district just a few minutes walk from the Plaza, Canyon Road, and many museums and shops. From our delicious full breakfasts and home-baked cookies and cakes at tea-time, to our authentic Southwestern ambiance, we provide a relaxed and homey atmosphere for you and your friends and family to enjoy. Our guests tell us they love our hospitality, food, location, and great value. Conde Nasts' Traveler magazine calls El Paradero the "lodging deal of Santa Fe." "Location was perfect - just right for a relaxing walk (short) to the heart of downtown, but away from the noise on a quiet side street. Terrific value with hospitality, location, and comfort all on the top of the list!" - Genevieve D, Ft. Walton Beach, FL

Comfortable Getaway

3.8 on January 13, 2018

We enjoy the small size of this place and the personal interaction with office and cooking/cleaning staff. It has a Southwest vibe with decor and breakfast. It's walking distance to downtown shopping and sightseeing as well.

Innkeeper Response
Thanks for you review! Glad you enjoyed your stay at the inn. Hope to see you again.

Loved it!

5 on November 22, 2017

We loved El Paradero so much we didn’t want to leave! The spaces are so charming, the staff is warm and friendly, the breakfasts are wonderful, and the location is excellent. Only a short walk to catch the free historic district shuttle bus (which connects to the museum hill bus), and also within walking distance of the Railyard district. El Paradero was a highlight of our visit to New Mexico!

Authentic B&B

4.6 on November 09, 2017

I chose the least expensive room, so it’s private bath was across the hall. I had no problem with this. My only difficulty was the darkness of my room, but when I commented on it,they put higher wattage bulbs in the lamps. Not only that, when I wasn’t interested in the breakfast offered, they prepared a simple plate of eggs, toast, and fruit. I was very pleased.

Innkeeper Response
Sorry you had some issues at the inn, but we’re glad we were able to correct them and make you happy!

A beautiful, comfortable home away from home

5 on October 26, 2017

We stayed 4 nights at this very well-run, clean, beautiful, and comfortable B & B in a perfect location. We were able to walk easily to the Plaza, Canyon Road, Railroad District, Georgia O'Keeffe Museum, and great restaurants. We were also able to easily scoot out of town to Bandalier and Tent Rocks National Monuments. Our room (6) was beautifully decorated and spacious. We even had a supply of wood for our fireplace but it wasn't fireplace weather. Breakfast was delicious, with offerings of such things as gruyere spinach quiche and ham and egg breakfast sandwiches, always accompanied by fresh fruit. The breakfast room was so pretty and colorful, and there was plenty of space in the B & B to lounge about (the library, living room, and patio). Lots of folks took advantage of these lovely, comfortable spaces. Everyone at the B & B works together to make your experience comfortable, from the woman who presses your sheets SO perfectly, to Kim who serves you in the morning with a smile, to Jorge, who got on one little problem with our soap dispenser immediately, to the chef who seems to love her job, to the manager. Can't wait to return!

Innkeeper Response
What a lovely review! We’re happy you had a great time at El Paradero. We work hard to create the kind of inn you obviously appreciated!

Fantastic Experience

5 on October 23, 2017

We totally enjoyed our stay. The rooms and other facilities were beautiful and in the Santa Fe tradition. Loved the living room area where we could go to play games and catch up on the baseball series progress. The food and service couldn't have been better. Fantastic breakfasts and tea treats daily made us feel extra special. Every employee provided the best of service. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!

Innkeeper Response
No, thank you for such kind words! We are just glad you had a great stay.

we are back after 10 years

4.6 on October 18, 2017

We stayed here 10 years ago to celebrate my husband's 50th birthday. We had a great time then and now. This is a cozy, comfortable place with great breakfast and afternoon tea. The staff is attentive and friendly. They do not serve dinner but why should they ... it is Sante Fe.....

Innkeeper Response
10 yrs later and you still like it! There’s consistency for you! Thanks for coming back and we’re happy you had a good time.

Nice place

4.0 on September 28, 2017

Great room with small balcony, only problem was in bed you can't see the TV becaue the foot board blocks your view, (I can't believe no one else has complained about this and they never mounted the TV on the wall). Bkf was good, wish there was more than one choice thou. And they made it sound like it was closer to the Square. Short walk, we didn't mind.

Innkeeper Response
Thanks for your helpful comments, we are going to be mounting the TV on the wall. You are right the footboard does block some of the TV. Happy you liked the breakfast!

Perfect location

4.6 on September 14, 2017

Whilst El Paradero is a large B&B it always feels intimate. Sue Jett and staff are friendly and helpful, the room comfortable and characterful, the breakfast and snacks delicious, and the walk-into-town location was perfect for us.

Innkeeper Response
Thanks for your great review, We’re glad you enjoyed your stay!
