A step back into an era of charm and grace

5 on October 29, 2017

We have visited a few times now and the hospitality is superb. The breakfasts are scrumptious and a great way to start the day. Teatime is an event to which to look forward to wind down and relax before dinner and to get to know other guests and the hostess. The room is well appointed and made up beautifully each day. We hope to return many more times to this special place in our hearts.

Comfort Of Home, Great Location

My husband and I had the please of staying at Twin Gables for two nights over Columbus Day weekend. The inn itself is furnished beautifully and the innkeeper Regina is wonderful. We stayed in the Dwyer room which had a full size bed and it's own bathroom. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom appeared newly updated. Everything was extremely clean. The gourmet breakfast Regina made us each morning were amazing! It felt like we were eating at a five-star restaurant! There is a lovely enclosed porch and that's where we had our breakfast. The location of the inn is ideal. It's a very short walk to Washington Street and two short blocks to the beach. We were able to walk to all the places we wanted to go to easily. A true treasure of Cape May. We can't wait to go back and visit Twin Gables again!

Stayed for an weekend in early September with my bride. Loved the front porch. Sat out there in both early morning and the evenings....both very pleasant! Breakfast included a delicious fruit bowl. Regina is a very engaging hostess. Ginger the resident Sheltie is so sweet! Would definitely recommend this B&B. It is a good value.

On short notice decided to try to go to the beach for a couple days. Found this bed & breakfast near the center of things at very reasonable rates. Great comfort.

Enjoyed our stay

Regina was awesome! We arrived a little early but she had our room ready for us. She filled us in on things to do. She was a perfect host and always had snacks, soft drinks, water and wine available for us. Her breakfast was delicious ! We had the cheese pie and she served it with fresh fruit and your choice of coffee or tea. She then gave muffins and chocolates to go. Place is only a couple blocks from the beach and shopping area so definitely a great location. Definitely nice to have a private bath in your room, we appreciated that. Place was clean, porch was lovely. Board games available. We will visit again for sure.

Dreamy Weekend Getaway

Regina is an incredible host, from the 3 course breakfasts to her willingness to help, she helped make this weekend getaway the lovely experience it was. I was especially blown away by how she allowed my boyfriend and I to use her beach chairs despite having already checked out, we will most definitely be staying here again!

Good location (couple of blocks from the center but quiet), lovely old house well maintained, pleasantly decorated room and excellent coffee in the morning; we had to leave too early to have the breakfast.
