We generally travel and stay in Cape May twice during the year, and each time we stay at the Queen Victoria. The amenities offered are above and beyond what you would normally expect from a B&B; breakfasts are incredible, and afternoon tea time is a refreshing treat! We always enjoy the company and conversation of other guests, but if chosen, "alone time" is certainly understood. The staff is very professional, courteous, and friendly. Any of the numerous rooms are comfortable, although guests do have their favorites after visiting several times. Innkeepers Anna Marie and Doug do an amazing job running this B&B, thus making it #1 for the past several years. If a trip to Cape May is planned, do not hesitate to stay at the QV! We cannot wait to make a return visit. Mike & Rosemary Eden

We have been to the QV 4 times now. Even if we go over night, which has only been one of our stays, it was so relaxing. The area is so beautiful with such a great air for romance. If you and your significant other are looking for a get-away that has great food, great shops, the conveniences to go to the beach and bikes to ride around the area, THIS IS THE PLACE FOR YOU!!! We have stayed in a different room each time we have gone and are impressed by each one. The conveniences that the QV provides for its residence is just amazing. We love this place so much we have really made an effort each year to go back.

This was our first stay here and we enjoyed the ambiance and had a lovely time talking to other guests who have frequented this BandB more than once. The owners were on site during tea and breakfast to introduce themselves and answer any questions. The room was very spacious and clean. The staff was friendly and efficient. Had a lovely stay and would recommend to all of our friends.

My husband and I just returned from a perfect three night stay in the Prince Alfred room in the House of Royals building. I have been staying at the Queen Victoria for at least 15 years and have never been disappointed. The variety of rooms means there is a new experience in store each time you visit, and that your particular needs will be met. The Covent Garden room was perfect when I came with my elderly mother, who introduced me to the Queen Victoria. I was able to help her enjoy time in her beloved Cape May until she was no longer able to travel. Now my husband and I try to make an annual trip in early fall and enjoy trying a different room each time. From the Prince Albert to the Princess Beatrice, we have always been delighted with everything from the clean, modern bathrooms to the beautiful decor and comfortable beds. The Prince Alfred this year was especially lovely with its generous size and wrap around balcony. Breakfast is always scrumptious, with everything from inventive casseroles to yogurt with granola and fruit. Sweet breads, muffins, and bagels, and endless cups of good coffee are enough to hold you almost until dinner! The staff is very careful to be as helpful as possible without being intrusive. Our room was always tidy, and baskets of fresh towels and lotions appeared without our even asking. A pantry a few doors away is stocked with sodas, coffee, tea, water, and homemade goodies for an mid day snack. Afternoon tea is always pleasant on the porch or indoors. Anna Marie and Doug are the best possible hosts and the "girls" at the desk are helpful and knowledgeable. I highly recommend the Queen Victoria and my husband and I are already looking forward to our stay there next year in the King Edward room - with its own parking space!

The Queen Victoria is a superb bed and breakfast! We have been vacationing in Cape May for over 25 years and The Queen Victoria is the most amazing place in Cape May. Everything about this Inn is spectacular - the atmosphere, the InnKeepers, the location, the food, the rooms, the amenities!

We have been coming to The Queen Victoria for about eight years. Our group has been growing, and this year we had nine couples. Anna Marie and Doug couldn't be nicer. They are always around to help with any questions as are there very professional staff. It is a great vacation that we look forward to every year. We couldn't ask for a better place to enjoy a wonderful vacation.

If you're looking for something better, you're just not going to find it. We have been going to Cape May for several years now and The Queen Victoria has become part of our vacation experience - not just a place to stay. The rooms and décor are wonderful and the breakfasts are five star. Actually, we spend a week each summer there and I simply cannot get my husband to go out anywhere else in the entire town for breakfast! The teas are not only delicious, but the presentation is exquisite. What makes it all happen? The owners, Doug and Anna Marie. They treat you as if you are the only guests who matter. We stayed at other B&Bs twice when the Queen was full and could see a big difference from the food, to the service - never even saw the owners. The Queen Victoria alone is worth the trip to Cape May.

Although the weather was cool and windy our stay was enjoyable. The Queen has brand new bikes, great restaurants in walking distance and the flag ceremony (short walk every evening) at sunset was touching. Since it was not beach weather we drove to the lighthouse, Cape May winery, and the Zoo. Anna Marie & Doug and staff are very welcoming!
