Made me a big fan of B&B's

5 on October 05, 2016

This was my second stay at a B&B in Cape May and as much as I enjoyed my first stay this visit to the Mooring B&B was absolutely the best! The owners Vince & Leslie were very helpful and gracious. Their breakfast every morning was stupendous! Typically in a B&B there is a buffet served in the dining room but since it was off season and there were only 4 rooms occupied we were pleasantly surprised with personal service and ordering. We were given a choice of "savory or sweet" as a main dish for breakfast and either choice would have been scrumptious. The presentation alone for the breakfast was a delight given I'm a huge Victorian era fan, so the lovely place settings and presentation were incredible. I would highly recommend this B&B for anyone looking to experience a true Victorian Cape May B&B!

Another Perfect Vacation

We've been staying at the Mooring for several years, and would not stay anywhere else in Cape May. Vince and Leslie make you feel like you are coming home. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, the breakfasts and tea times are delicious. The entire house is spotless and fresh at all times. We can't wait to return!

Great Place!

We had never stayed here in Cape May. The place was gorgeous. The room was beautiful AND it had a king-sized bed. The breakfasts were delicious and there was an afternoon "sweet" as well. Leslie and Vince were great hosts and knew a lot about the town and the best places to eat. All in all, it was a great little getaway!

The room was so lovely, and the porch was great. We enjoyed sipping wine out on the porch late into the evening. The breakfasts were wonderful with plenty of variety. Will plan on coming again.

Wonderful visit

Vince and Leslie are terrific hosts. Our trip was last minute and we were fortunate to have found a room on such short notice. The breakfasts were excellent, we ate more than we should have. The room was clean and well appointed. Vince was a good resource for places to eat and things to do. All in all a very nice place run by nice folks. We'll likely be back again. Robert & Shirlyn

The Mooring B&B - Cape May, NJ

This was our fourth stay at The Mooring. It's loaded with Victorian charm, which fits in nicely with the character of the town. Vince and Leslie are excellent innkeepers and their breakfasts are thoughtfully prepared. Each room has its own unique character. Many rooms come with parking spaces included, which is a plus in a very busy shore town.

Beautiful accommodations, delicious food, friendly staff

My husband and I stayed two nights here for our fifteen year wedding anniversary. Leslie and Vince are wonderful hosts. We truly appreciated Vince's recommendations on where to dine. Everything was wonderful, and I hope we can return!
