We recently stayed at the Mooring for the second time. Vince and Leslie are terrific hosts. The food is awesome ! Always great selections for breakfast. The location is excellent, one block to the beach and only a few blocks away from the Washington Street Mall. Once you park your car you won't need it again till you leave ! We will definately be back.

My wife and I have visited several B&Bs and hotels in Cape May over the last 30 years and frankly all have been very nice. However, after our recent stay at The Mooring, we decided that it will never be necessary to stay anywhere else. The Mooring has all the amenities and atmosphere that you desire in a B&B. Let me list just a few things that help to elevate this B&B to the top of the list in Cape May: Great location close to everything with on-site parking, tastefully decorated and comfortable furnishings, pristine cleanliness, delicious breakfasts and very professional and friendly hosts. Vince and Leslie are the best! Can't wait to go back in the spring.

I have stayed at the Mooring Bed & Breakfast for many years and have never been disappointed. Leslie and Vince are the best of the best and I have come to consider them part of my family. Love their cats Moose, Domino & Clipper. We always have a great time reminiscing. Breakfast is to die for (Sausage balls are killer). It's one of the things I wait all year for. Room#1 has become my favorite but this year at one point me & my sister were the only ones there and we got a tour of all the rooms. They are all beautiful. Looking forward to my stay again next year. The count down is on.

The Mooring B & B in Cape May, NJ is one of the most delightful places I have stayed on the NJ Shore. The Inn is amazingly outfitted, reflecting its era of construction, and the rooms immaculately kept. If that was not enough, the breakfasts served are among some of the best meals I have ever eaten. Vince and Leslie are the perfect hosts who make a stay at the Mooring a comfortable, restful and above all memorable experience. I will definitely stay at the Mooring again!

The Mooring was the perfect place for my recent get together with a college friend. Conveniently located to town and the beach, we had wonderful accommodations and fabulous breakfasts. Highly recommended.

I have been staying at the Mooring for many years. The last four have been with my sister. It's like being home but only better. I have stayed in a lot of the rooms but the last four years have been in Room 1. The room is gorgeous and extremely clean. I adore Vince and Leslie. They go out of their way to accommodate your every request. The breakfast is to die for. I can't even say which is my favorite. I love them all. Room is already booked for September 2018. The count down is on and I can't wait to get back to my home away from home!

The Mooring B&B in Cape May NJ is a wonderful place to stay. Vince and Leslie are excellent, caring, thoughtful hosts who prepare exquisite, delicious breakfasts. The rooms are very comfortable and immaculate. The vintage 1880s house is picturesque and takes you back to an era. We have gone there for a few years now, and will continue to stay at The Mooring, often for a couple of stays during the Summer/early Fall.

We stayed at The Mooring for a long weekend. We were accommodated from the very start with changing our arrival to a late check in. The first thing that we said when we walked into our room (room 6) was "Oh! It smells so clean!". We have stayed in multiple bed and breakfasts in Cape May and that was the first one that we said that about. There is just something about smelling clean along with being clean. We met an elderly gentleman on the porch with while drinking our coffee who asked us if we had every had Vince's breakfast before. When we said no, his response was "You're in for a treat!" and he was right! The breakfast was excellent every morning. The sweet and savory option was great because we split everything! The coffee was even excellent! Vince came around and made sure that everything was great and asked us our plans for the day and if we needed any suggestions. The location was very convenient. The beach is a half a block away with bike rentals right across the street. And the off street parking (available with most rooms) was one of the deciding factors for us. If you have ever been to Cape May during the summer, you will understand why! Sorry for rambling on but I feel that informative reviews will give many people advice to book at The Mooring. We will definitely be staying there again!
