Loved the breakfast and cheese and wine at 5 pm, and of course the hot cookies at 8 pm! Clean and classy decorative touches for the holiday!

A Beautiful Stay

Bonnie and Lance sure know how to treat people. This will be my second time spending a weekend at the John Wesley Inn. I enjoyed the hospitality and comfort. Breakfast was a beautiful setting as well as the environment in the living room. I would often read/look at events in Cape May magazines before dinner while the tree lit and the Christmas music playing in the background. Such a peaceful place. Bonnie even made me afternoon tea because I liked sitting in the living room for an hour before dinner. It was lovely.

Best of the Best

We spend our wedding anniversary at one of the best B&B's in Cape May. The owners, Bonnie and Lance, live on site. Since it is there home, it is immaculately kept and they treat you as if you were a relative. Making sure your stay is enjoyable is there mission as Innkeepers. If you're thinking about visiting a Cape May's B&B or have tried others in the city, you must plan a stay at The John Wesley Inn to experience a vacation worth your while. Every year we look forward to relaxing with Bonnie and Lance in April, a refreshing spring visit, in Oct, our anniversary, and Dec., to renew our Christmas spirit with a horse drawn carriage ride while enjoying the holiday decorated Victorian houses. We wouldn't want it any other way!

Welcoming atmosphere, delicious breakfasts and perfect location.

John was a gracious host. The room was even better than the picture! Would have liked cheese & crackers for an afternoon snack instead of cookies. Breakfast was OK.

Quaint Victorian B&B in Cape May

A short walk to the Washington St. Mall and off-street parking for guests, this is B&B is ideally located. The rooms are nicely done with ductless AC as an added bonus. Our room on the 3rd floor was steps away from the bright sunroom which has a wet-bar area including a small frig for cooling your wine and a small ice machine as well. The breakfast was delicious on both days we were here; plenty to eat and get you going for the days activities in the Cape May area. The hosts are very hospitable and friendly. Good value for the money, as well.

Very nice B&B

We stayed there for 4 nights and found it to be comfortable and clean although our room was small. Bonnie was an excellent host and frequently checked in on us to make sure we were comfortable. The breakfast was carb-heavy and, while delicious, isn't what we normally have. Bonnie was very accommodating and switched our breakfast up to suit our taste. The location couldn't have been better.

cozy stay

Signature Dish

Belgium Waffles
Every Sunday morning at the John Wesley Inn, Bonnie makes home made Belgium waffles. They are topped with fresh whipped cream and ripe, red strawberries. This speciality is served with slices of peppered bacon on the side. There is always plenty of freshly squeezed orange juice and piping hot coffee.
