We really enjoyed our stay in this charming inn. We had one of the smaller rooms, but it was quite large enough for us to be comfortable. It was tastefully furnished and had a flat-screen TV. The common areas, including the patio, were lovely and everything was immaculate. Joanne, Mark, and the staff did a great job making us feel welcome. I loved having access to a selection of bicycles, as well as the "Bathhouse Special," which allowed guests for $10 p.p. to have access to the outdoor shower and amenities after checkout time.

Best Place To Stay In LBI

To say that when you stay at this bed & Breakfast its like staying at home is an understatement. My fiance and I loved every second we spent in this B&B and we would recommend anyone to stay there any day of the week and twice on Sundays! The rooms are Marine clean (I am a Marine, I know what clean is) the owners/staff make you feel like family and the location is perfect!

Wonderful, friendly Bed and Breakfast

Very nice, classic old resort hotel feeling, with good wifi and all-day coffee! Very accommodating hosts. We stayed in the Cottage next to the main house, which was great for my teenage son and his friend, and an easier way to include our dog in our vacation.

my wedding weekend

5 on June 01, 2016

My Wife and I rented the entire property for our bridal party and friends to stay in over memorial day weekend. We were married up in ship bottom and had our reception at the stateroom, but used the Island Guest House as a place to stay, and it served the perfect location for our rehearsal dinner. The house easily slept all 38 of us and had enough community space for everyone to hang out in. Mark and Joann went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect when we first arrived. Mark even worked all afternoon to set up outdoor speakers for us! The location of the Island Guest House is perfect! It is a short walk away from anything you need. (Murphy's, Bagel Shack, Chicken or the Egg, Fantasy Island and Bay Village to name a few and also just a few blocks from the beach). The property even included bikes for us and our friends to cruise around on. The pictures of the house online do not do the place justice. Once inside it feels like it never ends because it is so huge. there is no where else on the island that could accommodate all of us so comfortably. We had the perfect wedding weekend staying in this property!

Great Bed and Breakfast Run By Wonderful People

5 on September 07, 2015

We have stayed here seven times now and will definitely keep coming back! Mark and Joanne, who run the bed and breakfast, are very friendly and truly want their guests to have a great time. They are also extremely attentive to requests and even remember preferences when you return months later. They make you feel like family, and we really look forward to seeing them each time we come down. The breakfast is tasty and bikes and beach gear are provided. Biking on LBI is especially wonderful because the whole island has bike lanes and is flat.
