We chose The Monadnock Inn because it was near my husband's high school reunion celebration. Mt. Monadnock has special meaning for us. Staying at The Monadnock Inn, was the perfect place to be in the area. The fire alarm went off due to a malfunction, but it was actually fun to meet other guests, albeit in the early morning. The staff were excellent and it was a fun story to share at the reunion! Highly recommend to B&B fans.

we stayed at the inn as brand new residents in town, while waiting for our moving trucks to arrive. from the moment we walked through the front door we felt at home. Max greeted us warmly and made us feel very welcome. our room was charming, clean, and cozy. we dined in the pub, sat next to the warm wood stove, and loved the atmosphere so much that we returned later that evening for dessert and a glass of wine. Sandy graciously greeted us in the morning, and sent us off to our new home with hot breakfasts & coffees to go. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience at the inn. we plan on being regular patrons of the pub, and will send our out of town guests to the inn for over night accommodations. Highly recommend!

My wife and I booked a couple of nights for her birthday, but due to a family emergency we were not able to go on those dates. The folks at the inn very kindly allowed us to reschedule our visit without penalty to two weeks later -- Valentine's day. We had booked the Dine and Stay package, so dinner was included with the stay. I must say, the Valentine's dinner was excellent, and included the wonderful music of Louise and Bernie, the Inn's local musical couple. Our room was comfortable and snug. The hosts were gracious and accommodating. We had a very pleasant stay.

The cosy pub, lovely dining room and comfortable lounge. Personalized room, great soaps in the room and for sale. Glasses in the room, not plastic cups! And the best scrambled eggs! Gracious host and fun to meet the owners.

I chose the Inn sight unseen because it was near where i wanted to kayak, thinking it would just be a place to sleep and then on my way the next day. Instead, this was a place to linger...what a pleasant, charming place! Sandy's hospitality and hearty, tasty breakfasts convinced me to stay another day, and that was easily worked out. The room i was in had a mini-fridge and microwave, both very conducive to a road trip AND cable TV, good WiFi with a very comfortable bed. As if to crown the experience, the room had a "Do not Disturb sign" that needlepointed on a pin cushion. Do you need to know anything else?

The Monadnock Inn was a quaint Bed and Breakfast. We arrived on a Sunday and no one received us, but a note was left for us on the door. Our room was prepared and we had been upgraded to a more spacious room. This was a pleasant surprise and much appreciated. The Breakfast was very scrumptious. Monadnock Inn was very peaceful. The stay was fluid and without issue. The only reason we did not rate "Onsite Dining" as five stars is that we only experienced the Breakfast portion. There was a restaurant onsite, but it was not open while we stayed at the Monadnock Inn.

There are so many great things to say about Monadnock Inn!! Firstly, I received a call on Thursday night addressing some questions I had emailed about our room. They let me know that they were able to upgrade our room (to a Queen bed, attached bathroom, AND cable!). I was thrilled. It was very generous of them! We arrived on Friday night and I honestly felt so warmly welcomed and cozy upon entering. The restaurant was lively and the music was playing. It was clearly a place where people felt happy and at home! We were really pleased with our room. It was cleaner than any hotel I've been in! There was plenty of space for myself and my husband and it was really cute. The only teeny tiny minor complaint...not even really a complaint...is that you can definitely hear people walking around in other rooms and the rooms in the front are on a high traffic road. Again, not a huge deal! The staff were all really welcoming and kind as well. The restaurant was GREAT! The servers were kind and the food was really tasty. I had one of the best Caesar salads I've ever had! Oh and the Lavender Lemonade was awesome! The breakfast is also included which is always nice! We had options of toast, bacon, eggs, fresh fruit, coffee, juice, and pancakes! We were really pleased with this place and would DEFINITELY stay here again and have already recommended it to our friends for a weekend away!

We stayed in the Sally room which we found to be very quaint and comfortable. The bed is high which was fine for us but may not be for some though there were steps to use. This bathroom is small but worked out fine only the door needed to be closed while showering so the smoke alarm wouldn't go off but that was in all the rooms. The stairs were fairly steep but this is an older place so expected! Breakfast was very good. Nice New England charm!
