¿So perfectly located, we walked everywhere and loved it. Incredible dining, sights and shops are minutes away in any direction. Veronique made the start of each day a joy with a great breakfast and all the directions we would need for the day’s adventures. The bed is wonderful after a long day. The room was spotless, very quiet and each morning we opened the windows to the sounds of the Runstraat. Can’t wait to come back. Highly recommended.

A fantastic central location, and the room is clean and charming, with little extras like complimentary tea and fruit. Beautiful light in the room and great hospitality from Veronique. The breakfast is also great value! I'll be back.

We had the most wonderful stay at the Home Run Bed and Breakfast! The hospitality, the room, the location and the service were all great, I can highly reccomend it!
With large windows spread over the full width of the house, our guest room offers an entertaining outlook over the Runstraat and the activity below. A beautiful flower store and one of Amsterdam's most famous old pubs are directly across the road and make for fun people-watching as you enjoy your daily breakfast. The double-glass paneled windows in the room ensure that you can enjoy peace and quiet at all hours. Should you desire privacy and a dark room in which to sleep, the net curtains for day and blackout curtains for evening make both possible.

Once at Amsterdam Central Station, you can take Trams # 1,2, or 5 and get out at the “Spuistraat.” Once at the Spui, walk into the Spui Square, just a few steps walk in the direction the tram is proceeding. You will see a bar called “Hoppe” (established 340 years ago) and a small alleyway on it’s right called the Heisteeg. Walk to the end of the alleyway and then cross the canals in front of you. You will walk over 3 bridges until you get onto the Runstraat, 5 minutes walk from the Spuistraat tram stop. Should you require assistance in finding us just ask someone for directions to the Runstraat or “Gerda's flower store" and the "Doffer" café”, two well-known local attractions across the road from us. A taxi ride from Central Station costs Euro 7.50 and is a worthwhile option if you have a lot of baggage.
