Rising out of the ruts of the Oregon Trail, The BARN offers an exquisite get away. Our guests can sit back and relax to watch the sun set on the Western horizon. If you are very quiet, you can almost hear the echoes of the past, the rumblings of wagons heading West. Awake in the morning to a delicious Barn breakfast in our cozy dining room or in our panoramic sun room. The four guest rooms are furnished with turn of century furniture. The barn is decorated with Western America and Native American art and trail regalia from the owners trail rides. The second floor balcony overlooks Mitchell Pass where the Oregon, California, and Pony Express trails headed West. It makes a great place watch the sun come up and have a steaming cup of coffee. Stroll through the courtyard and relax in the tree swing or hammock. We feature a gourmet breakfast the includes a fresh fruit, a meat dish, baked French toast, baked frittatas, or blueberry bread pudding just to mention a few. Homemade chokecherry syrup is the central focus of many of our breakfasts. We are just a few miles from Scotts Bluff National Monument, Chimney Rock, and many places to hike, canoe, fish, bike, horseback ride, golf. We offer exquisite package deals to local restaurants for fine dining.

We were just at Barn Anew for a family reunion. The setting was a beautiful western Nebraska landscape, with the historic Oregon Trail landmark, Scott's Bluff, in full view. Our hosts were gracious, laid back and fun to talk to. Lodging was lovely and comfortable and breakfast was not only delicious but a work of art. We would love to go back again.
Thank you for choosing Barn Anew for your reunion. Having guests like you stay with us is what makes owning a bed and breakfast so much fun. Hopefully your travels will bring you back soon.

My husband and I stayed at Barn Anew June 20, 2015. This place is a "diamond in the bluff"!!!! Cher and Allen were awesome hosts and a pleasure to chat with! The "barn" is relaxing and a stroll through the garden is peaceful! We live in Kentucky, my husband is from Scottsbluff, and we will stay here each time we visit! We highly recommend the B&B!! Take time to listen to the history behind the barn!!! Thanks Cher and Allen!! We have recommended to our friends to come stay with you!!!!

This B&B is exactly what is advertised on their website. Have seen too many B&B's where the photos didn't reflect reality. Hosts are gracious, food is plentiful and tasty and the rooms are very clean. Great location just outside the national monument and very very quiet. We will be back the next time we are in that area.

The owners are the nicest people we ever met. They sit and chat, offer and suggest anything you might be interested in. They have the most incredible background to happily share. Our stay was simply wonderful and we would adore returning. We loved the location, away from the city but still close.

overall a lovely stay but found it a bit chilly with the air conditioning, which we had no control over.

Fab B&B one of our best in USA and we have stayed in around 250 on our travels. Lovely room, delicious breakfast and charming hosts - we'll be back.

Cher and Allan were great hosts and the house is like a combination art and history museum. The view from the Rendezvous Room to Mitchell Pass in Scotts Bluff was lovely.

The Maybees have preserved many treasured antiques that tell the story of our western pioneers and the Native American tribes that must be remembered. We leave with a deeper appreciation of America.
