Relaxing, and just what we needed for the night.

Great Smoky Mountains visit

5 on March 27, 2018

This establishment is a gem. Our hosts, Jeff and Bre, are among the nicest innkeepers we've ever encountered. We look forward to having an opportunity to visit again. The local people we interacted with were equally as cordial. The beds and bath sheets are extremely comfortable. Their breakfast offerings are tasty and generous. They make their own juice/cider concoction from locally grown apples and it is delicious. Being a pet-friendly B & B is an added bonus. Our only regret is that our stay was just four days. Highly recommended.

Amazing stay

5 on March 25, 2018

Many bed and breakfast establishments try to use excess opulance in their rooms. You walk into an old farm house in the mountains and the entire interior is dripping with lace and Victorian era decor. The Grandview Lodge stays true to its roots and feels like it belongs in the mountains. The interior keeps the farmhouse feeling but has been renovated and designed so that it is inviting and comfortable. Old hallways and stairs lead to very well appointed rooms. This isn't a penthouse suite in Manhattan set in the mountains. Its a family home where you feel welcome. The owner is very nice and attentive. The food is excellent. Even fresh pressed apple cider. This will be an annual stop for us.

Another Great Stay at Grandview

A great place to stay in Waynesville. A great, reasonably priced bargain and the breakfast is worth the cost of the room. Friendly and very helpful. Good conversation with Jeffrey and he makes great Kombucha!! Can't wait to go back!! Ted Day

Great Stay!

4.6 on January 18, 2018

Loved our stay! The Grandview lodge is stunning, with a rustic vibe. I saw a few other rooms outside of the one we stayed in and each one has its own individuality. The location is great, not far from Main Street, a short drive to the Cataloochee ski resort, and about a 30-49 minute drive to Ashville. The owners were very nice and made sure we had everything we needed. Our only complaint was the breakfast. It was good, but not as good as what I’ve had at most B&Bs. Also, we had almost the same exact thing both mornings, which I thought was kind of odd. Otherwise, the stay was great and I would visit again!

New Years Day at the Grandview Lodge

4.6 on January 11, 2018

Jeffrey made this an incredible B&B experience, and I highly recommend a visit to the Grandview Lodge! He greeted us warmly and made local dinner recommendations. He was responsive to my wife's dietary requests and shared his extensive knowledge of gemstones! There are a lot of really epic gemstones on the property and in the lodge. The breakfast was the absolute highlight. Piping hot coffee to sip while he made a feast of gigantic proportions! Waffles, sausage gravy, omelettes, thick sliced bacon, cheesy grits, and a biscuit! And you have to try the homemade apple cider! The room we stayed in was very cozy and simple. Soft beds, great shower pressure (no low-flow here!), and our dog loved being able to run out the door and through the orchard! We will definitely be back. Jared and Katie Cooper

My husband and I booked a room at the Grandview Lodge for a last minute quick trip. It was a wonderful place to stay and very reasonably priced. The location was great - only a few minutes from downtown. The owner was very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was wonderful. We plan on coming back!

About the innkeepers

The Delannoys became innkeepers after traveling the world and deciding to raise a family in the beautiful landscape of North Carolina. Being an artistic family the balance between the surrounding nature and mountains and the eclectic style of nearby Asheville led them to purchase the Grandview Lodge with a goal to provide a unique experience, great breakfast, and affordable lodging in a relaxed atmosphere for travelers like themselves in the hope that they will also fall in love with Western NC.
