Creekside Paradise

259 Upper Cove Road , Robbinsville, NC 28771 USA (Show map)

Creekside Paradise Bed & Breakfast is a charming log & stone lodge nestled in the mountains of the Nantahala National Forest. It's located close to the towns of Robbinsville, Fontana Village, and Bryson City. If you’re looking for a peaceful, quiet, romantic setting, you have come to the right place. Our home is spacious but cozy inside and Bee Creek flows just outside the front door. You can enjoy a roaring fire in the great room, toast marshmallows at the outdoor fire pit, relax in the hot tub, lounge on the expansive deck, or enjoy a leisurely walk on our trails. Breakfast is included with your room and dinner is available for a small fee. We invite you to help yourself to our gourmet kitchen if you prefer to cook your own meals. Our spacious rooms contain amenities such as a refrigerator, coffee pot, bottled water, bathrobes, and a walk-in closet. There is a queen bed in each room and we are happy to add single beds to accommodate up to 3-4 guests per room. Television, Wi-fi, and long-distance telephone are available, at no charge, in the common areas. Hiking trails, scenic drives, and recreation areas abound in this area. We highly recommend hiking sections of the nearby Appalachian and Joyce Kilmer Trails, white-water rafting and zip-lining. We have pets and we encourage you to bring your furry family members with you. Of course, Hikers and Bikers are always welcome!

Unbelievable Stay

5 on January 21, 2018

As our first time staying at a bed and breakfast we were not sure what to expect. Cynthia and Jeff exceeded any expectation that we had staying at a B and B. The accommodations and attention to details were far above a 5 star rating. We would definitely recommend that if you are vising the Southwest part of North Caroline, this is the place to stay. The B and B is close to Asheville and a short distance to the Appalachian Trail. We will definitely be returning to enjoy the warm hospitality provided by Cynthia and Jeff.

Innkeeper Response
Thank you so much for your kind review! It was so nice to meet you both; we're only sorry that your stay was so short. We look forward to seeing you again sometime, preferably when the weather is nicer and you can enjoy our beautiful mountain trails and creeks.

The Name Says It All!

My brother & I had a marvelous time staying at Creekside Paradise in mid-October 2017. Simply put, owners Cynthia & Jeff aren't just amazing hosts, they are wonderful people that we now consider friends. They sought to any reasonable request we had but also went way out of their way to help us get answers we were seeking about the local region. Their home is a beautiful yet cozy B&B. Breakfast was tasty with a great selection of food options. Sitting out on the front deck relaxing & listening to the constant water streaming by was my favorite activity. As a dog lover myself, bonus points for their four awesome dogs who melted our hearts & kept us nearly constant company. We highly recommend Creekside Paradise & we will certainly be back! All the best, Christopher & Dale

Best B&B we've ever stayed at!

5 on September 11, 2017

We were hiking the Appalachian Trail and stayed here before we were going on through the Smokies. Cynthia and Jeff were the most awesome hosts! Their home is beautiful and the room we stayed in was so big and comfortable. They had cozy robes for us to wear after showering. Besides breakfast that comes with the stay, they sometimes have a wonderful dinner you can join them for for a fee. We decided to have the dinner, and we were not disappointed! It was a delicious meal that was well worth the cost, and the company was exceptional. They are great conversationalists and there was never a dull moment. They even helped us find out the weather (since Hurricane Irma was supposed to be causing bad weather locally) on their computer. Jeff helped us find out that it would not be safe to be going into the park for the next several days. We appreciate their hospitality, friendliness, spirited conversation, and helpfulness. They also have four large dogs that are very well behaved and socialized. We strongly recommend Cynthia and Jeff's place if you are looking for someplace to stay in their area. We definitely would stay there again.

Innkeeper Response
Thank you so much for the flattering review. We also very much enjoyed your stay with us. Can't wait to see you again and pick up the conversations where we left off! We have arranged for better weather for your next stay in Paradise.

Highly Recommend This Place!

We had a most enjoyable night night stay with our incredible hosts, Cynthia and Jeff! Not only were the accommodations top-notch, but their intelligent, friendly company and happy dogs made it a experience to remember. Both had a great knowledge of the area and provided easy-to-follow directions with maps. The night sky and sounds made it worth staying up late. Jeryl & Bob

A miracle on the AT

5 on March 28, 2016

Myself (Gus) and my partner (Silver Fox) stayed here based on the short blurb in the AWOL handbook. We were nearing the end of our 2015 Southbound thruhike and needed one more place to relax for a night and recoup some energy. We were both pretty worn thin at this point and weren't really expecting much, but Cynthia and Jeff's hospitality was unreal. We were dropped off at the trail the next day feeling amazing and strong even though we hiked off into the pouring rain!

Innkeeper Response
Hey Gus & Silverfox, Thank you for your kind review. We're glad you had a good time here and had a chance to rest up for the final sprint to the end of the trail. We trust you made it to the end unscathed. Take good care & come back anytime! Cynthia and Jeff.

Wonderful Weekend

5 on December 22, 2015

Cynthia and Jeff were great host. After a fabulous meal, we sat around the table and talked for a couple of hours. Our room was nice. We opened the door at night and listened to the babbling creek. Wonderful!! We plan to return in the spring for the flowers. Bob and Terri

Innkeeper Response

Beautiful Area

Very relaxing and hospitable after a long drive. It is like coming home to relatives, Cynthia and Jeff are very attentive hosts. The area is gorgeous, it is defiantly on our list to return. The dogs are very friendly and playful. We stayed in the upstairs bedroom and it is so relaxing falling asleep to the sound of the creek.

Innkeeper Response
