Jeff and Cynthia are excellent hosts. They treated us very well. My wife is a vegetarian, and they served us a late-night vegetarian meal. Highly recommend.

Best B&B we've ever stayed at!

5 on September 11, 2017

We were hiking the Appalachian Trail and stayed here before we were going on through the Smokies. Cynthia and Jeff were the most awesome hosts! Their home is beautiful and the room we stayed in was so big and comfortable. They had cozy robes for us to wear after showering. Besides breakfast that comes with the stay, they sometimes have a wonderful dinner you can join them for for a fee. We decided to have the dinner, and we were not disappointed! It was a delicious meal that was well worth the cost, and the company was exceptional. They are great conversationalists and there was never a dull moment. They even helped us find out the weather (since Hurricane Irma was supposed to be causing bad weather locally) on their computer. Jeff helped us find out that it would not be safe to be going into the park for the next several days. We appreciate their hospitality, friendliness, spirited conversation, and helpfulness. They also have four large dogs that are very well behaved and socialized. We strongly recommend Cynthia and Jeff's place if you are looking for someplace to stay in their area. We definitely would stay there again.

Innkeeper Response
Thank you so much for the flattering review. We also very much enjoyed your stay with us. Can't wait to see you again and pick up the conversations where we left off! We have arranged for better weather for your next stay in Paradise.

Highly Recommend This Place!

We had a most enjoyable night night stay with our incredible hosts, Cynthia and Jeff! Not only were the accommodations top-notch, but their intelligent, friendly company and happy dogs made it a experience to remember. Both had a great knowledge of the area and provided easy-to-follow directions with maps. The night sky and sounds made it worth staying up late. Jeryl & Bob

A miracle on the AT

5 on March 28, 2016

Myself (Gus) and my partner (Silver Fox) stayed here based on the short blurb in the AWOL handbook. We were nearing the end of our 2015 Southbound thruhike and needed one more place to relax for a night and recoup some energy. We were both pretty worn thin at this point and weren't really expecting much, but Cynthia and Jeff's hospitality was unreal. We were dropped off at the trail the next day feeling amazing and strong even though we hiked off into the pouring rain!

Innkeeper Response
Hey Gus & Silverfox, Thank you for your kind review. We're glad you had a good time here and had a chance to rest up for the final sprint to the end of the trail. We trust you made it to the end unscathed. Take good care & come back anytime! Cynthia and Jeff.

Wonderful Weekend

Cynthia and Jeff were great host. After a fabulous meal, we sat around the table and talked for a couple of hours. Our room was nice. We opened the door at night and listened to the babbling creek. Wonderful!! We plan to return in the spring for the flowers. Bob and Terri

Beautiful Area

Very relaxing and hospitable after a long drive. It is like coming home to relatives, Cynthia and Jeff are very attentive hosts. The area is gorgeous, it is defiantly on our list to return. The dogs are very friendly and playful. We stayed in the upstairs bedroom and it is so relaxing falling asleep to the sound of the creek.

Innkeeper Response

Truly Paradise

4.6 on October 09, 2015

I know a lot of people here are vacationers looking for a place to stay. I myself was a hiker on the nearby Appalachian Trail and I stayed with Cynthia and Jeff for three fantastic days while recovering from an injury. The beauty of the property is surpassed only by the friendly, accommodating nature of the hosts and I can honestly say this is the most aptly named B&B I've ever had the pleasure of staying in. Breakfast was a feast fit for a king, and dinner (if you choose to partake) prepared by Cynthia is always a meal to remember. The rooms were clean, large, and comfortable and the cabin itself is absolutely stunning. I met a lot of fantastic people on the trail, but these two and they're wonderful hospitality will live on in my memory forever.

Innkeeper Response
Thanks for the glowing review! As hikers ourselves, we definitely like to welcome hikers to Creekside Paradise. We hope our place provides a peaceful spot where people can relax, kick back and rejuvenate before hitting the trail again. We trust you reached your destination unscathed- Congratulations! Cynthia and Jeff

My husband and I spent a night here recently. It is very quiet and peaceful. We ate dinner on the deck listening to the sounds of the creek. The hosts are kind, intelligent, and pleasant people that provided terrific conversation. We will be back as often as we can get away.

A True Hideaway!

4.8 on September 17, 2015

My husband and I stayed here overnight recently. At the end of a narrow gravel road, the home is ideally located next to a beautiful rushing creek. We were enthusiastically greeted by the owner's four dogs (unfortunately we didn't get to meet their cat, though). The home is lovely and our upstairs room was very nice and private. A balcony off the room allowed us to fall asleep to the sound of the creek. We enjoyed a filling breakfast of cereals, bagels, fruit, and yogurt before heading on our way. Cynthia and Jeff are friendly and have lots of good ideas for things to do in the area.

Innkeeper Response
Dear guests, Thank you so much for your generous review. We're so happy that you enjoyed your stay in Paradise. We're happy to have you return for your next relaxing getaway.
