I would sooooooo give this unique and fabulous and warm and inviting bed and breakfast TEN stars if I could! Listen, people: if you are within 25 miles of this place, GET THERE! And try to stay overnight! Christy is the BEST innkeeper on the planet. She does not miss a trick! My husband and I celebrated our anniversary and his birthday and she made our stay so very special! We can't wait to find an excuse to go back! I love, love, love, love every single thing she did for us...and our accommodations were TOPS!! In the words of Tina Turner: SIMPLY THE BEST!!!!!

Perfect respite

I travel a lot for my job and have never been motivated to write a review before, but my stay at Christy's warrants praise. The thing I enjoyed most about the house was the combination of antique and modern in the decorating style. I enjoy bed and breakfast lodging, but often the homes feel a bit stuffy and dated. The owners have done an amazing job capturing the timeless beauty of an older home, while also keeping the atmosphere feeling fresh and alive. Christy is a master of customer service. The abundance of beverages and snacks after a stressful day's work were perfect and the system for ordering breakfast was both personalized and effortless. The grounds were lovely and the inviting screened porch created the perfect setting to start my day. I would highly recommend this place to anyone in the area.

Amazing stay

Christy's Inn is a beautiful place to stay. The attention to detail and the service were outstanding. Christy was warm and welcoming. She was familiar with the area and recommended a great winery to visit. We enjoyed our time there and would definitely return.

About the innkeepers

As native Californians, we visited North Carolina for many years before moving here permanently in 2013. The local townspeople know this 1920 house as the "Drummers Home" which long ago offered rooms to travelers. We strive to carry on with the original owners desires to offer accommodations that provide a distinct contrast to modern tension and to invite friends, old and new, to share in the simplicity and richness that this old house offers.
