Hubby treated me to an overnight at Esmeralda for Valentines & birthday celebration. This was our first stay and we found it comfy, relaxing and a very gracious staff. The five course dinner was outstanding, but being Valentine evening, it was probably a bit more crowded and noisy than normal. We stayed in room 2; had the weather been warmer, we would have used the porch more! Understandably, not much going on this time of year but Chimney Rock Village could use some more upscale shops and attractions.

Our friends booked us a weekend staying here at the inn! We loved that they had several add in packages to choose from and we ended up going horseback riding! That was such an amazing adventure! The location of the in. Is perfect, so close to chimney rock state park which hiked one day! It’s also reasonable close to asheville! The rooms had a GREAT view and I love that the toiletries they provide are all natural! The food is definitely great for being in a small mountain town, and the service is amazing! Such friendly and welcoming staff!

Cold but sunny weather made for a great three days of exploring local waterfalls, attractions, and Asheville. The staff of the Esmerelda were super friendly and helpful and the Inn restaurant had the most delicious meals every day. The cozy rustic environment is relaxing and the property's history interesting. The outdoor jacuzzi and fireplace were a perfect way to relax after dinner until bedtime. Their beds are so comfortable that a good nights sleep is almost guaranteed.

Stay for 3 days and 2 nights. Nice place to relax and enjoy the outdoors. Staff was friendly and helpful. did have issues with water pump alarming during one night and next day quickly fixed by staff but did get irritating while alarming. Do not plan on checking out before 8am as the staff does get in until then. Overall worth the stay.

The Esmeralda Inn ranks 5.0 on the review but I couldn't get the 5 rating to click on the computer! The Inn served as the Christmas weekend host for my family of 23 who arrived from Singapore, Houston, Atlanta, Charlotte, Raleigh, Greensboro, etc. We utilized the cabins and some of the rooms as well as the private dining room. It was fabulous! The owners and the staff were very accommodating and gracious even permitting us to do professional family photos in the gorgeous lobby. Love the cozy romantic atmosphere and the intriguing history. Our Christmas dinner was excellent, satisfying for many tastes. The children loved playing on the Broad River rocks behind one of the cabins. We agree we would all do it again!

We stayed for 2 nights at the Inn and loved every part of our stay there! The quality of the service, food & accommodations are top notch! The staff and owners are so welcoming and helpful! The Inn has a restaurant that offers dinner each evening! The food was so good we ate there both nights and were very thankful we did! Breakfast choices were awesome and delicious! My husband and I spent our 10 year anniversary here on a deal we found on Groupon. This place is awesome. There are great trails for hiking and places to fish at and all the little mom and pop restaurants serve excellent food. Breathtaking views! Bring your hiking shoes because Chimney Rock is a decent hike, but not for the faint of heart. I can't say enough good things about the Esmeralda Inn and Restaurant. The grounds were well maintained and full of history, the staff are all very pleasant and go above and beyond to help you with whatever you need, and the rooms are very well maintained and comfortable.
