Relaxation is wellness. Wellness is happiness. ASIA Bed & Spa is both retreat & bed and breakfast, and with only 5 luxury guest rooms, you can anticipate a relaxing spa getaway with no more than 8 other guests. Our guests also enjoy the convenience of a private spa (not open to the public!) with private rooms for all our spa services. ASIA is nestled on a wooded lot about a half-mile from downtown Asheville, so we encourage our guests to leave their vehicles in our private lot and enjoy the 10 minute walk into town. We are also a convenient 10 minutes by car to Asheville’s Biltmore Estate and the Blue Ridge Parkway. Our goal is simple: to provide you the time and space to relax unwind while you stay with us. Because relaxation is wellness, and wellness is happiness. And that's the ultimate goal: to live well and be happy.

We arrived at ASIA ready for a quiet three nights and hoping for a wonderful spa treatment. We were rewarded on both fronts. Doniel met us when we arrived and took the time to acquaint us with the property and the town, making several recommendations for meals and things to do. Breakfast was wonderful every morning and ready when we were. The Spa treatments were awesome. My wife had the two hour body meltdown and I had the 75 minute hot stone massage. Cameron was my therapist and was superb. Jenny took care of my wife and she was equally impressed. I highly recommend this place for those looking to be pampered for a few nights.

My wife and I took a trip to Asheville last month to investigate a possible move there (we hear so many wonderful things). Anyway, the town is everything we imagined it was! Great food, culture, landscapes, art, and friendly people. To top it off we stayed at the PERFECT BnB. What a dreamy and relaxing place! Asia had a spa with massages readily available. The decor was so nicely done - a mixture of rustic, natural, and Asian themes. Doniel (owner) was the quintessential host, very thoughtful and a pretty damn good chef! (He made the most delicious pancakes.) We highly highly recommend Asia as an Asheville getaway.

I was lucky enough to come across this b&b while looking for places to stay in Asheville. I cannot go on enough about how peaceful, quiet and elegant this place is. (especially for the price!) We loved how easy-going yet professional the staff was. They had tons of suggestions for shopping, sightseeing and dining. We loved the food, our room was so cool, (not your typical stuffy b&b room that I'm used to) and it was just incredible having a big jacuzzi tub in our room right after an amazing massage! It was just myself and a friend, but, this is somewhere I'd definitely want to return to for a romantic weekend getaway!

I have never taken the time to write a review however, this magical place is so enchanting and perfect in every way, I felt obligated for the sake of curious travelers everywhere to share my experience. The Inn was mystical, the guest suites with their oversized jacuzzi's and fireplaces were luxurious, the breakfast should be labeled cuisine and the Innkeeper was absolutely warm, charming and delightfully engaging. In the early hours of the first morning I was there, I was so moved by my surroundings that as I sat by the fire I wrote a poem. Throughout our entire visit to the Asia Bed & Spa one constant fact emerged, this is a true treasure we will return to time and again. I humbly share my poem with you. "Asia Bed & Spa" I awoke to the sounds of a trumpet of tweets, the smell of fresh coffee and an assortment of sweets The fire in our room flickered soft with a gentle glow it stirred a peaceful calm unlike any I know. Intrigued by a song that I could not place being sung so intently with such harmony and grace. I began to wonder what were these words so deliberately sang by these beautiful birds. Then out of the blue I recognized the tune, it was the telling of spring that was coming soon. As the sun rises and light sneaks past the shade the darkness dims and the song begins to fade, I realized the Asia Bed and Spa is magical ground, a perfect place for your energy to rebound. So take a friend, take a beau, just do yourself a favor and go; If you don't believe me, listen to the birds that sing at your window. ©2013 S. Odom, All Rights Reserved.

ASIA Bed and Breakfast Spa did it again! This was out second stay in 8 months and we were so pleased to return. The rooms are all thoughtfully appointed and you feel as if you are staying in your own private home. The breakfasts each morning were delicious and hearty enough to skip lunch. The sauna was a great way to unwind after a day of sightseeing and our private porch was the perfect spot to sip wine and enjoy the beautiful weather. We did not have time this stay for a massage but the couples massage during our first stay was wonderful. We will be back again soon.

Went to Ashevile for a romantic weekend. ASIA spa was the perfect place to stay. The rooms were very comfortable and clean and the breakfasts were delicious... Restaurant quality! The innkeeper showed us great hospitality and took time to recommend places to go and things to do in town. The location is perfect...just a short walk downtown. I would stay there again in a heartbeat and look forward to our next visit.

My friend and I stayed at the Inn prior to attending a program in Asheville. The experience we had was nurturing and relaxing. From the moment you drive up the driveway and enter the Inn, you are surrounded with beauty, amenities and attention to detail. We thoroughly enjoy the spa area as well as a delightful massage! The Inn is conveniently located to downtown with the feel of seclusion!
A nod to Les Puces de Saint-Ouen, the most famous flea market in Paris, the Paris Room at ASIA Bed and Breakfast Spa combines antique chic with savoir-faire. Appointed with rich upholsteries, antiques, hand-painted walls and ceiling murals, the room is bold and whimsical. It captures the charm of Paris, one the world?s most beloved places. Ideal for honeymoons and romantic getaways, the Paris Room is our most requested accommodation. It features its own outside entrance and a private breakfast porch with seating. Inside you?ll find an elegant, detailed space with light filtered gently by adjacent treetops through three large windows. Maximum occupancy is two people. Sorry, we do not accommodate children under 15 or animals.
The Artisan Room at ASIA Bed and Breakfast Spa is beauty drawn from nature. Almost every feature in the Artisan was touched by a craftsman?s hand. From the hand-crafted bed, you have views of the stars and the moon through skylights, and a hint of a lullaby as rain dances on the tin roof. The Artisan is a ?cabin-like? room with its own entrance and porch. Our most secluded room, with a vaulted ceiling and windows on all four sides, it overlooks the meditation garden and the surrounding canopy. Peekaboo views of downtown Asheville Fall through Spring. ***If you are taller than 6 feet the shower might be a tight squeeze. Maximum occupancy is two people. Sorry, we do not accommodate children under 15 or animals.
The Silk Route at ASIA Bed and Breakfast Spa owes its richness and elegance to its namesake, the ancient Silk Road, the trade routes which served to spread exotic goods, wealth and culture throughout the East, Middle East and Africa. Hued in a palette of gold, silk and glass, this Silk Route speaks to another era. Art and antique tapestries adorn this spacious room. Hand-stenciled details add richness to walls and nine-foot ceilings. The four-poster bed faces the hand carved elephant that guards your secluded tub ?oasis?. The Silk Route is your four-star caravan retreat. Maximum occupancy is two people. Sorry, we do not accommodate children under 15 or animals.
Travel afar to the most relaxing hour of the day in the Bohemian Room at ASIA Bed and Breakfast Spa, where copper hued mosaics, hand-painted finishes and stamped metal accents are a feast for the eyes. The Bohemian is the coziest, most sun-filled room in the inn. The six-foot long window seat has year round views of our Japanese strolling gardens, and views of the Downtown Asheville skyline Fall through Spring. PLEASE NOTE: THE BOHEMIAN DOES NOT HAVE ITS OWN SHOWER, but does have an extra large two-person jetted tub with a shower wand. Guests are welcome to use our steam shower on the first floor. Maximum occupancy is two people. Sorry, we do not accommodate children under 15 or animals.
The influences of Bali are instantly recognizable, and we artfully combine those elements with modern comfort. The antique batik tapestries and shadow puppets that adorn the walls create your own private art gallery. A hand-carved Buddha watches over you as you gaze from the bed upon the bamboo Mondrian above. The Bali Room is located inside the inn on the second floor. It is a bright, light-filled room with three large windows inside the room and one in the private bath. Maximum occupancy is two people. Sorry, we do not accommodate children under 15 or animals.
